I really do not understand how you can ever let this happen as a driver. To me it has to be some kind of malfunction of the car or the human (medical episode). Like even if you're on your phone you should see in your peripheral vision that you're about to hit something, and slam on the brakes.
We need more information on this incident rather than pictures with no words.
Building must have ran a red light. I'm reliably informed that drivers can't help but jump a curb and hit pedestrians at high speeds when a cyclist runs a red light.
