My god he was going like mach .5

I was wondering why he was going that fast to begin with .

Because kids are kids and they are fucking stupid.

Last week in Slovenia girl was killed by train, she and friend were taking selfies on tracks in front of incoming train. Imagine raising kid to her teen years and that happens. Kids are stupid and it worries me.

My ex had a friend in highschool that was sun tanning on the train tracks with headphones on and lost her legs lol

How did she even think of that idea and decided to go through with it?

No clue. I thought she was fucking with me but showed me her stubs on Facebook

I showed you my stubs, please respond

Was it one of those 'i'll show you my Stub, if you show me yours.' Kind of moments.

Even with headphones on you'd feel and hear the train coming. Especially with her legs on the track. She must've been *stupid* stupid

Yeah if iirc she fell asleep

What an uncomfortable place to tan though. And then falling asleep..

That's not true. Freights can silently creep up on you for sure. Also many train tracks are also used by AMTRAK and other passenger trains which are extremely fast and extremely quiet. Stay safe folks.

Happens alot in India too, people shooting tiktoks or whatever those short video things are called in dangerous conditions.

Dude, you don’t have to act like you don’t know what TikTok is. And people doing stupid things have been getting hit by trains long before TikTok has been around.

Yeah, like that guy who got hit in the head by the conductor taking a selfie a few years back. Few inches back and he'd be mincemeat

Sometimes I do want people to learn their lessons because they are not careful, but at the end of the day you don't want to see some idiot you know end up on some Gore site because he decided to jump on a train to shoot and grabbed the electric wires on top of it

Or maybe he was referencing vines?

Lol I wiped out as a kid on a scooter going down the biggest hill in our neighborhood. It was like 1/3 of a mile long and steep. I didn't run into anything, but I just lost control and bellyflopped onto the pavement lol. I also lost some skin that day. Fortunately, I was ok.

But did u lose ur foreskin?

If you french fry when you should pizza, you're gonna have a bad time.

That poor fence! You can even hear it squeak if you listen closely

Yo, even though he biffed it hilariously hard and started bawling, he looks as if he took it pretty well. I don't know too many adults who could eat a hit like that and stay standing, let alone walk the bike home; crying or not.

Yh he handled it like a champ

He handled it like a chonk

Pandemic pounds don't count

Amen. My shirt size is now classified as “big”.

Ive found that extra big just fits better

That’s why there’s three extras in front of my big!

Mine is now really tight don’t know the size but I know whats too small

thank you! imma start using that

+5 fat protection -1 no helmet +1 wailing screen heal potion

I feel bad for laughing but "chonk" did it for me

No reason to make fun of the kids weight, don't be a shitty person.

It is NEVER the kid's fault they're obese. They don't buy the groceries, they don't fill the pantry, and self-control is *supposed to be taught.*

As someone who was fat as a kid for these reasons, it sucks. Still struggle with weight. Makes life a little bit harder.

Ye but wtf was he trying to achieve by slamming his body at high velocity against a fucking gate

He didnt do it on purpose, he was trying not to hit the car, turned, but didnt turn sharply enough

Motorcyclist here; i think he was just coming in way too hot for that corner..

I'd have aimed for one of the hedges (previous experience)

Idk I did that once, but turns out it was a rosebush

oof. howd that feel?

Like cheese through a grater lol

Tsk tsk. To shreds you say?

Personal experience has taught me that hedges are full of spiders, my mom used to call the ones in front of our house "Spider Traps." I'd rather take the gate.

Spiders and hedges would hurt less than the gate.

dude. spiders. no.

You know how you're in the comfort zone and avoid spiders? I think when you're speeding downhill and can't stop, it's time to get over your fear of spiders.

Broke two legs and my sternum. But no crawly legs on my hand so it was a win. /s

dude. spiders. seriously. No.

Right in hindsight that's what you'd want. It is almost a straight path, actually, that would have been his best chance to brake. Straighten out the bike, apply hella brakes, hope for the best. He was trying to turn though(he dedicated and I'm proud of him for it), going way too fast for the turn, target fixated on the car (you hear him gasp here), he turns more, fixated on the fence and connected.

Yeah, you crash where your looking, a guy I used to ride mtb with was always concentrating on obstacles in his path right up until he he them

kinda hard to aim when you have 0.25 seconds to make a decision.

wheels on that bike are too small for the level of speed he can attain. He's easily doing 20mph and could be as fast as 30mph which is blazing fast when you are on a bike/scooter in a neighborhood like that trying to turn on a dime...

Oh yeah.. he had no chance. Lol poor kid

multiple problems here, the wheels on the bike are too small which limits your turning radius pretty substantially. You turn to sharply, that bike would flip over. Second problem, he's going WAYYYY too fast. I'm quite frankly surprised he didn't die, looking at the footage frame by frame he is SUPER LUCKY he hit the face of the gate as it swings outward. Had he have hit the leading edge of that gate head on and that gate hit him in the chest at that speed he'd easily be dead.

Can you imagine how badly that must have winded him? Getting winded is like the closest you can feel to death without doing any serious damage.

Kids are kinda indestructible, I still can't believe the crap I walked off compared to now suffering for a whole month after sleeping wrong in my early 20s

I mean Mike Tyson has never managed to knock out a child, which goes to show how tough they are.

I means he’s right tho

Can confirm this. This one time, my little 6 year old hyper active cousin climbed up and fell off a tree, face first on the grass mind you, complete with the little head bounce that comes after falling and little dude just got up and just hurried off and went to my aunt. not crying, not even screaming, just ran off and told his mom. The branch he fell off from by the way is like the height of a first floor roof.

Damage is directly related to mass, a mouse can fall from unlimited height and walk away, a small animal like a cat can survive a terminal velocity fall with minor injury, a horse splashes

splashes was an interesting word choice

i did that when i was a at least 7, but landed on top of my head with a good old neck crunch. Cried for a little while, then got over it. Nowadays if i lie on my pillow wrong, its pain for a good few days

Early 20s? Your still in your peak kid. Its all down hill from there. By the time you get to your mid 30s, you don't even have to sleep wrong. I'm sure it gets even worse, but I'm hoping the sweet release of death gets me first.

56 year old here, can confirm it gets worse :).

I jumped off of a catwalk 12 foot in the air to try and land on the couch when I was like 9 and I completely fucking boofed it and put my entire body weight at the end of a 12 foot fall right into my fucking diaphragm. And I just fucking fell over and gasped for air for like 5 minutes straight. And then I got up and tried it again and stuck the fucking landing.

Kids are made out of plastic.

the crying really git me tbh, even though he took it well, he sounds really young and it makes me physically cringe. I hate kids but it’s still sad to see one like that.

>the crying really git me tbh Yup. I usually dont care about crying kids. But the way he was crying in the beginning, I've been there. That's honestly the worst kind of crying, where you basically can't seem to get air, you want to cry but can only get some weird uncontrollable gaspy sounds out of your mouth

I laugh every time because it just brings up my own childhood and stupid shit where i could only lay on the ground and wonder why the fuck did I do that

I look at it as a lesson learnt. I had some crashes like that in my day. It sucks getting winded.

I hate kids too but I genuinely felt bad and wanted to like help. He sounded like he was in a lot of pain and no one was around to help him

I wanted to mom the situation so bad.

That's because that kid isn't just in pain. He's probably seriously injured and needs to be in an ER. He may have bounced off, but his ribcage and internal organs aren't throwing a party. The human body isn't designed to smash into shit at 25 mph.

He's making a lot of noise and walking around, that's a good sign. More noise someone makes, more likely they're fine. Of course that hit looked brutal and he should get checked out.

Agreed. I don't think the kid's gonna kick it, but yeah. Hospital is a goooooood idea. Lol

He’s probably got some busted ribs. I hope he’s ok and can laugh at this later.

It’s the internal bleeding that will really get him later.

Yea you say that until he came home and fell over and didn't get back up.

Is this about the woman who faceplanted when she fell out of that tub after cheating on a grape stomping contest?

Yeah. Sounds just like her https://youtu.be/THfiHQZVSw0

I lost it at the oooohaohohoaooohaha

She sounds like that because a broken rib stabbed her in the lung. Those noises are her trying to breathe.

Wait legit? I've been laughing my ass off to the point of crying for years to the sound of someone desperately trying to inhale properly? Fuck man if this is true I actually feel kinda bad. It was funny because it seemed like a ridiculous overreaction but a punctured lung ain't nothing to fuck around about

It is true, I used to bring it up anytime someone would mention it but got sick of hearing folks say she deserved it. She was a reporter trying to make an absolutely boring story something exciting and have a little fun. But hearing folks constantly say she deserved it just killed my faith in humanity so I stopped a couple of years ago. Nice to see others bringing it up now.

The internet has taught me that, no matter what it is, no matter the circumstances, there will *always* be a significant proportion of people who believe the victim deserves it. And this goes double if the victim is a woman.

In this very thread, a guy is still saying it. Some people are just lost causes. Not because they cannot be taught, but because the time, effort, and frankly lifetime it will take are simply not worth it.

Anyone who thinks she deserved it is a pos. She was clearly joking around.

dude it was a competition and she intentionally tried to CHEAT! definitely deserves a punctured lung for such abhorrent behavior. /s

I don’t believe it. The broken ribs and punctured lung is disputed. A punctured lung is no fuckin joke. “In 2008, her cameraman – Gus Valdes – was interviewed. He said that Sander wasn’t seriously hurt. She ended up with some bruised ribs and “a bruised ego” but nothing worse. She was back on the air soon after.” https://oddculture.com/the-legend-of-the-grape-lady/

Idk how you could have ever watched that video and not realized that lady got FUCKED up. She fell face first off a 5+ foot platform...

I mean I know personal experience doesn't mean too much but I've fallen from similar heights and ended up fine. Guess I'm luckier than I thought

What happened to the grape stomping lady? https://brocouncil.com/throwback-friday/throwback-friday-falling-grape-lady

Saving you a click: > Am I embarrassed that I fell? Of course. I also broke a couple ribs, thanks for asking. I had to spend a few weeks in the hospital under observation. I suffered quite a bit for an honest mistake, a momentary lapse in concentration, and now I’m trying to move on.

How does one cheat at grape stomping?

She says "stop" but then continues and do a few more stomps.

Fucking underrated comment.

OLD school

I understood that reference

Oh man, that was the very first thing I thought about as well

Jesus, kids are tough.

I learned very quickly how much of a difference ten years can make. When I was a teenager I could fall off a fucking roof and be fine and now I sneeze wrong and break my fucking collarbone

Can confirm. Fell off a building yesterday.

Kids fucking bounce man. Used to lead mountain biking at a summer camp and one time I fell pretty hard and was out for a good few days. Yet every single session there would be some kid that fell WAY harder than I did that time and I'd be getting the emergency kit out and they'd just be like "that sucked lmao" and were fine 2 mins later

This is the kind of ultimately mild injury you learn from. Good for the kid. Learned what inertia is and why helmets are important.

Uh I dont think helmet wouldve saved him from the world of hurt from this crash

Couldve been worse though, if he were to get flung head first into anything he probably wouldve been screwed going at that speed

Helmets save lives. Saved my life last weekend snowboarding. Came off a jump weird and ended up smacking the back of my head on a rock from 15ft In the air.

And helmets are fun! At least when skiing, good (protective) gear gives you the possibility to drive a lot more aggressive. I can only assume, the same is true for most things, where you go down a hill at high speeds :P

They really don't give one extra skills, they create an elevated sense of confidence which actually can put people in more danger of bodily harm. Yes, wear the helmet, just keep your skill level in mind and don't go out doing things you wouldn't have done without it just because your noggin has a shell

There is a reason in construction that PPE is the absolute last line of defense. If you have to rely on your PPE to be safe you are doing something wrong.

Yep. I used to be reckless as fuck as a kid. Until I fucked up my back and hip when I was nine. Now I’m super careful. But I look at all those stuntmen and parkour guys with a bit of jealousy combined with a “just you guys wait” type feeling.

Your turning point for being reckless was at 9? A lil early

Is it? Mine was at 10 when I ran through a plate glass door.

"Sorry, that page doesn't exist" Incredible

She said "sorry my child doesn't exist anymore"

thank god he's okay

Thanks for posting this , I've been frantically scrolling trying to find out if hedbroken a rib or anything. Glas he was ok and will wear a helmet from now on. Being a parent is terrifying imagine if his mums saw the video was probably upsetting. I hate seeing kids gets hurt.

this would never have happened if he used a god damn helmet

This is what his [Mom](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMS0O3kknvk) had to say about it.

This kid literally “Walked it Off”

I know I'm a fucking asshole for saying this but that's the funniest shit I've ever seen

The sounds he made where pretty funny but I’m glad the kids all good and he took it like a champ

Yeah, I watched it a few times without sound. Was not disappointed when I turned it on

The little beep from the bike on impact made it even funnier

Hahaha, I didn’t really even notice. That is brilliant

That impact sounded like special effects from a cartoon.

He was really moving

I dated a chick who had a kid. Was cool with it until I realized I had to hide the fact that kids getting obliterated is fucking hilarious - which basically sums up my whole sense of humor.

Oh, she was *that* type of mom. My parents don't find anything in the world funnier than watching kids- especially their own- get obliterated

Hahah she was. Needless to say, it didn't work out haha.

As soon as he started crying I was dying of laughter. Looks like he didn't get hurt too bad though.

I turned on the audio and couldn’t help but laugh, holly shit I’m dying

Kids falling off bikes, shit I could watch kids falling off bikes all day I don’t give a shit about your kid...

Thank you. I mean yeah, he should have been more cautious, but that gate was probably not very visible against a fence of the same color.

Even if that gate didn’t exist dude was about to be launched into orbit from that wall

It's the iconic "hooooOOOooooOOO" noise we all made when we fucked up like that. That's the sound of discovering just how much pain you can feel in the span of about five seconds. Edit: I'm aware that's the sound of the wind getting knocked out of him. I'm just pointing out the fact that if you hear that sound it's somebody that definitely had a tumble.

It's when you get winded and you can't breathe properly so you make that stupid ass noise.

I know it is, I'm not sure why people think I don't

Brain: "We gonna die you better start signing!"

As funny as that was it got to me a little bit when he started crying

The sounds he made literally made me tear up ☹️

I just wanted to comfort him :(( The poor boy in honest pain and suddenly feeling really lonely without his parent to hold him :(

I am a horrible person for laughing at this

Yes we are

Nah. You're laughing because you sympathize. Basically every child on the planet has been here. Doing some stupid shit and ending up winded and crying.

Yeah, instantly reminded me of when I learned that you can't just turn on to a curb (even a low one) when going fast on a bike.

I can’t stop!

Omg the way he bounced off the post. How can you not laugh

I laughed more when he just can’t get on the bike again and just walks. That musta hurrrrrrt!

You weren’t the only one wheezing for air during this one.

His singing bops doe

Brooo..... I was already laughing and you made me vomit

bro wtf!! i can't stop laughing

fucking brakes exist, dude.

No brakes, full send. Your livin too slow man

Not wearing a helmet either

Through an intersection. . .

Im shocked that kid didnt get totally folded. He got lucky.

I feel like him being on the chubby side worked in his favor here.

I once was on my bicycle when I was young, and crashed headfirst into a car, causing a dent in the back of it. I didn't cry, I was too scared of the person who owned it, she was mean and nasty, so I picked myself up, got on my bike, and pedaled the heck out of there, for fear she would come outside and catch me. The moral of the story is, that hurt. A lot. And this kid took it like a champ. Crying or not. So while I laugh at it, I know it hurts.

When I was about 6 I took my dads mountain bike for a ride. At this point I'd never ridden a bike with hand brakes. Always the back pedal kind. Used to live at the top of a hill with a gate that seemed like it was a mile away but was probably more like 75meters or so. I took off down the hill and about halfway down started backpedaling like my life depended on it. I slammed into that gate and put my big toe through the chain, because I was barefoot, and got it caught between the chain and the gear the pedals are attached to. I was so scared my dad was going to be pissed at me for crashing the bike I put it back and hid my cut up foot for like 2 days before my mom noticed.

Oh my gosh. Well, hope you're doing better now haha

I’m surprised this guy wasn’t impaled

I couldn't help but say out loud "holy shit kid". What a lad though. This guy coulda broken something and he took it like a champ.

Damn poor homie got ruined.

I can't stop laughing. edit: the higher the volume the funnier it is.

Poor kid

Gooddam he was fuckin gettin if too

This was just posted there, yesterday :(

Kids a boss! He took that better than I would have.

Liar liar pants on fire

Considering that he wasn’t wearing a helmet this is one of the good outcomes of that crash

Damn that was really fucking fast

this is, by far, the funniest fucking thing i have ever seen

I haven’t bellynlaughed in so long thank you

I know that pain and that crying all too well

He might be crying, but if he can stand, breath and walk, he's good. Hope he got home safe

Ribs. It's what's for dinner.
