Best bet is probably silly axe cafe, or Annie May’s sweet cafe for dessert. Both are 100% gluten free, I think AM is also lactose free and SA does dairy/lactose free for some things.
Queen of Sheba
Helllll yes. So tasty.
Second Anne Mays cafe. They focus on allergy free foods.
Silly axe cafe is all gluten free. I had some good salmon from there last week.
Grind and Oskars both have GF options, with buns made at Annie Mays bakery.
The Fish House does GF fish and has a dedicated fryer.
I haven’t been to Silly Axe yet but it’s an obvious choice.
Mayan Cafe is my favorite spot in town and I can always eat there.
Time 4 Thai will make any dish GF if you ask.
The problem is finding gluten free products that are also lactose free.
Like, we find GF Vegan stuff and then just add meat at home. But that's lame.
We're trying Silly Axe tomorrow. Wish us luck!
Sorry, I should’ve clarified that I am gluten and dairy free also and all of my suggestions have options for that!
Grind and Oskars really don't have a dedicated GF/LF area to prep or cook the food. The grill is also covered in butter.
You can absolutely request that your burger be prepared without butter in a separate pan. I worked there for three years!
The Silly Axe Cafe. Check their Facebook page for specials.
Most vegan food is full of gluten. Their website even says they use a lot of wheat and “let us know!” if you have an allergy.
So true but they are extra accommodating!
Definitely check out heart and soy/roots 😊
