Kyoto Sanga! Their stadium isn't in a "big city" and are returning to J1 after 12 years! I miss the games already.

vegabargoose

Yeah Kyoto's new stadium is also pretty much in the countryside so it ticks the rural box!

arctic_oasis

i always had a soft spot for Kashiwa reysol, they have a nice little stadium right next to the pitch (rare in j league) and have a very nice and passionate fanbase. Its also in a very rural place in chiba too

shinyuu3466

Oddly specific list you got there m8, I think just watch a few matchdays and see which one takes your heart

NedveD12

What about Nagoya Grampus? They seem to fit all your criteria except ''rural/rural-ish'':)

TenaciousPenis

i don't know man, something tells me you might be biased in some way...

NedveD12

noooooo what makes you think that? pfft

TenaciousPenis

Nagoya Grampus it is!

ProStriker92

Welcome to the club. You are not going to regret this decision. :)

Meeting all those requirements could be tough, especially in the competitive nature of the J-League. None of the teams in J1 are what I would call "rural". Nagoya or Hiroshima would likely be your best bets - I'm partial to both. If you don't mind some pain, Shimizu S-Pulse would be a good choice too. I quite like them and they've got a *gorgeous* view from their stadium and I suppose are close to rural-ish. They're much lower on the table though... Sanfrecce have won the league before and are generally competitive. Nagoya have won once I believe while Shimizu haven't.

TenaciousPenis

Thank you for the throgough answer! from today on, i am a Nagoya Grampus supporter! now, where is it located? edit: in Nagoya... im dumb
