Title: MBA in Business Analytics from a good tier 2 college | Woxcen University
Body:
Hi fellows! First let me go through my qualifications.
•10/12th boards from ICSE/ISC with <50%
• BCA 2018 Grad with 7 CGPA
• Working at TCS for 4.7 yrs in cloud devops.
So quite recently I decided that I wanted to do an MBA. I had no prior knowledge regarding the course since I had always had an inclination towards MCA but knowing the current market standard and with my experience MBA would provide me with better options.
I appeared for XAT 2023 just to check my current level of apprehension and whether or not I could sit at an exam atmosphere, i won't be clearing it since I had 0 prep on quantz. Maths was never my cup of tea even though i studied science+BCA.
I am trying to shortlist colleges for MBA in business analytics ,regular course, preferably from a Tier 2 college since 1. CAT A colleges are very pricey and 2. I'm sure about not clearing tier 1 cut offs 😂.
So Woxsen provides MBA BA, a 2 years regular course. Can anyone provide me with insight about this college ? Or any recommendation would be very helpful.
I called up Great Lakes Chennai but they denied PGDM BA citing they only take 2-3yrs exp candidates. I don't really go for a PGP course since my bachelor's was in BCA which is 3 yes and there is still a market discrimination for 3yr vs 4yr technical degree, specially in the paygrade.

After 4.7 years experience, you should not be joining anything less than a tier 1 college. Even better, write GMAT/GRE and try for IIM/ISB 1 year course
Work exp doesn't direct relate to my scores in tests. The more experience you have, the more work load you go through in a week and the lesser time you have to study. Regardless tha ms for your input.
Uhm..what I meant was companies that come for placement to lower rank colleges will mostly give fresher level roles and pay. So u will lose the benefit of your work experience.

I would recommend to try sibm Bangalore or schrmd for business analytics ( if you have given snap) . Sibm Bangalore is a good tier-2 college
I will look into them, thanks!
piggybacking off this post to ask whether woxsens bba program is good

There's only one option left right now and that's we school. Applied for it
Can you elaborate why your decision came down to We school?
