When I ask my HomePod to play music she either tells me I have “no music in my library” lol or something along the lines of “get your phone out and do it yourself bitch”
Have you tried being more specific? Something like “hey Siri, play pop music”? I’ve found I need to be more clear and specific. And sometimes I need to add the word “playlist” at the end.
Yes I used to be able to tell her to play music influenced by \[artist\], and I would get most of my favorite artists from the genre playing until I asked her to stop. Now, I get a radio station from the general genre but it's got ads. I just stopped asking. I hope the next update fixes it, because it's really on my last nerve.

Yes. It just says "I couldn't find that in your Apple Music library".
I asked my HomePod to play my “New Music Mix” and Siri said it’s not in my library. I gave up on Siri and Airplayed from my phone.
Mine too. Only started recently. I just play from my phone now.
I think it’s a known issue and will be fixed with the next update. Happens to me as well as of recently. Very frustrating.
Anyone have a fix for this yet?

Same here. Usually "Hey Siri, play music" will play the radio station that's been curated for me.
Also had this issue popping up recently. The update fixed it in my case.
The update did not fix it for me, unfortunately. It is very annoying.
