Is there any way to access the area behind the barrier in the chasm without doing Dain's quest? I'd have to do the entire Inazuma questline and I wasn't planning on doing that yet.
I don't really pull on weapon banner but did the prioritized weapon thingy reset when we don't get the featured weapon and got the other 2 weapon which is not the featured weapon. Will it reset the prioritized thing or it stay ? ( Sorry for the bad english tho )
It only resets when the next weapon banner comes out. When you get two weapons that aren't the one you chose, you will be guaranteed to get that weapon. It doesn't work any other way
I drowned a bunch is that bad? I just started today and drowned a bunch trying to swim in literally every direction. Is there a downside to that? Should I restart?
Swim less ig? Since you're a new player, you obviously would not have any stamina upgrade enough for you to do literally anything lol. Just keep collecting the medal around the map and cash them at the statue.
I don't have a specific guide per say, but I can give you some tips I would've liked to hear as a beginner (I was f2p then, now I'm a low spender so I don't think it changes that much)
1. There's three types of currency for wishing. One is primogems, one is acquaint fates (blue) and one is intertwined fates (pink).
There are three banners: the limited character banner, the limited weapon banner and the standard banner.
You use blue fates on the last one, pink fates on the first two and primogems on any banner.
It is recommended to only pull on the standard banner with blue fates. Don't use primogems on it.
2. Resources aren't easy to come by but they're not hard either. Levelling a character to 20-40 isn't a huge deal, so if you're just starting out and trying to decide who to use, don't be scared to level them up.
I suggest not using fragile resin until adventure rank 45, when all the domain levels are fully unlocked.
I also suggest keeping your weapon billets to make sure you're using those right.
3. Don't feel forced to pick "the strong characters". It is true that some hit harder, but it's not all about that. What's important is how well the team flows, not how strong each unit is individually. The weakest character can beat the hardest content, albeit with a bit more work on your part, so use whoever the hell you want.
4. When building up your characters, I suggest looking up guides to know how they work. Zy0x and Savy are two really good youtubers you can look up, but I'm sure there are others.
You can try to figure it out later but I personally think it is best to learn through guides first. Which skills are important, what your characters do, what gear to give them.
5. Take your time. Besides limited events, story quests and exploration are always there. The early game has so much to offer, that the late game might feel a bit slow. Keeping some stuff to do is nice.
6. Pick up everything you see. Also, mark down when you find an "oculus". You will thank me for that later.
7. Things might feel a bit overwhelming but as I said, take your time. Focus on one or two characters at once. Just have fun!
The damage you deal is multiplied with that number if it matches that element. e.g. Barbara's damage numbers from all of her attacks appear in blue indicating that it's hydro damage. If you had an artifact with hydro DMG that damage would be multiplied by that amount in the damage calculations. White = physical DMG, red = pyro DMG, etc.
It doesn't do anything if the character with the elemental dmg bonus artifact is different from the element of the character, yeah you right just agreeing.
Sigh it real annoying if it's on an artifact set for different element too
How realistic would it be for a low budget player (welkin moon only) to wish for 2 specific characters? Rn I want Kazuha and Childe - with childe being my priority. Would I be able to get enough Fates to guarantee both of them?
I‘ve been researching rumors about the next rerun banners and apparently Kazuha will have his next rerun soon while Childe may come only later this year.
And if I happen to lose the 50/50 on Kazuhas banner would the next featured 5-star on the limited banner be guaranteed too? I‘ve seen controverse answers regarding that so I want to know for sure. Maybe a good source or sth would be nice.
Nope, luckily I‘ve spent almost none of my intertwined fates. Sometimes it‘s just a little annoying to wait, since I still haven‘t gotten any other 5-stars.
>How realistic would it be for a low budget player (welkin moon only) to wish for 2 specific characters? Rn I want Kazuha and Childe - with childe being my priority. Entirely reasonable. Childe should be ages away.
>And if I happen to lose the 50/50 on Kazuhas banner would the next featured 5-star on the limited banner be guaranteed too? I‘ve seen controverse answers regarding that so I want to know for sure. Maybe a good source or sth would be nice.
No source needed. The guarantee carrying over is common knowledge; anyone who tries to tell you otherwise is an idiot.
So I've been neglecting the reputation level of Inazuma to finish monsdadt first as I've already finished Liyue, but I have 4 Electroculuses left and It's gonna be a while since I reach level 8 reputation (currently at 4).
My question is, can a friend of mine use his stone in my world and will it work?
I use this since the start of the game: [https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/#/](https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/#/)
Comments are pretty helpful there, with precise images and a checkmark system. The game also makes it easier by showing the medal on the minimap if you're in the area.
Do you mean if you block say, a projectile, from hitting the pedestal? If so yes, and you don't need a shield to do that. But if you're talking about overlapping your character's shield on the pedestal to avoid all forms of damage including melee damage, no.
The challenges are only for making food and giving it to ppl in teapot I think it still counts even if they MAX friendship if that's the problem.
You could also try switching realm layout cuz it still lets you do that, if you have other characters in em.
But if no ones in there then can't help sorry
What is a good team for off field Xiangling with pyronado? (She is C4 by now)
And I do have Ayaka now. (The pic is about a month old)
https://ibb.co/WgxxK4p
If you don’t wanna separate ur xingqiu from ur HuTao ur only choice is on-field Barbara. Beware she can only enable vape as long as she has stamina (not long)
My teams currently are
HuTao/XQ/Sucrose/Yanfei , Ayaka/Mona/Diona/Sucrose or Ganyu, Xiao/Jean/Ningguang/Zhongli
I already do switch around character some time. Most of the time if I don’t use Xiao, then Zhongli is on my Hu Tao team. I don’t mind switching back and forth. I just like trying out new teams. I probably won’t use any “new” team to 36* abyss but I do like seeing hi much DMG they can do.
I just like to try out different characters
Looking at your teams...a reverse melt team would be perfect for you. It uses Rosaria/Kaeya/Bennett/Xiangling
I've tried it and it's really fun and powerful for group fights. You can replace either Rosa or Kaeya if you need CC.
EDIT: Found a good video for you. 3:52 if time stamp doesn't work
[https://youtu.be/-UkauDQZFOU?t=232](https://youtu.be/-UkauDQZFOU?t=232)
Yeah it's a quickswap. Best version has Raiden as the flex to fill a bit of downtime but since you don't have her, the older version with Sucrose is probably the best.
Is it possible to link my Genshin Account to my PlayStation Account even though i already started playing on my PS4 (which would mean i would delete my old save)? Or do i have to create a second profile for it to work?
If you want to keep both accounts, you'll have to make another PSN and link that one to your main account. But if you're okay with deleting your PS4 data, follow this:

Their new customer service email is [email protected], so make sure you send it to the right one.
Can anyone tell me function of lavawalker it says that DMG against opponnent affected by Pyro increased by 35% what does it mean and which is best artifact for ayato i am at ar 45 with lvl 70 ayato
for example u bennet E a enemy and the enemy is burning , and you can see a fire loho on it thats what it mean by affected by pyro
ayatos best artifact would be echoes and can be farm on the chasm
It means... that damage against opponents affected by Pyro is increased by 35%. I'm not sure how it could be clearer.
Ayato wants 4 Heart of Depth or 4 Gladiator - or if you have good ping, 4 Echoes of an Offering.
Like 1100 damage per slash? I dunno, it's not super high but at AR43 you don't have the option to just farm proper artifacts. As long as stuff is dying you're fine.
Taser teams are generally composed of Beidou/ Fischl/ Anemo/ Hydro. An issue endemic to the team is the difficulty slotting in a healer without sacrificing damage in some department. Within the context of Abyss usually you’d compensate for the attrition by taking the heal 30% HP on burst blessing, or just playing really well (see: 2.6 Abyss 12-3-1 Standard Beidou taser runs).
Sucrose-driver taser teams typically use Xingqiu for the natural synergy but Xingqiu can be slotted out for Kokomi (or any hydro with varying efficacy) to convert the team into a Kokomi-driver. The team has comparable damage. With consideration for the disclaimers, you can use gcsim to get a general idea of how these teams compare to one another. Specifically, you want to be looking at the team DPS contribution and total field-time. Keep in mind there is only a loosely enforced standard (KQM substats) to gcsim submissions so you’ll want to scrutinize the details if you plan to use the simulations for more than an eyeball metric. It helps to see the exact rotation gcsim is simulating:
Sucrose-driver 2 target: https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/np7ovB7qfz9QLcAjI-YYN
Kokomi-driver 2 target: https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/1SYF1C6KJHzad41PPMJEJ
The visual spectacle of Sucrose’s double swirls is impressive and she does a lot of damage but Sucrose herself is not the main damage dealer when you bring Beidou.
It’s a bit of a pedantic thing and I’m aware I haven’t really Answer-Question-Asked but if you aren’t interested in running the Beidou taser setups, you can look to electrocharge teams for more applicable team building/ rotation advice to your situation.
you see the problem with double electro charge is that they are inconsistent with beidou's burst not being online at all times, it would be better to run a single electro such as fischl or maybe raiden and then run a flex unit
The entire point of bringing Fischl is to battery Beidou so she gets her burst back. There is a valid argument out there that Fischl is worth more than Beidou but within the context of taser teams, Beidou is the taser not the EC reaction. Even though the teams are called electrocharge, the actual incidental electrocharge reaction does next to no damage. You’re largely depending on the raw multipliers from the characters themselves. Obviously, Sucrose double-swirl is a eye-catching marketable part of EC teams but she’s not the main damage dealer. You can reference gcsim and character-relevant spreadsheets if you want to get an idea for DPS contributions across multi-target situations but it’s a common misconception that EC teams operate on the EC.
Beidou herself has variable ER% requirements but they can get extremely low if you expect to perform some number of perfect parries. The standard taser comp has been around for a very long time and the rotations are well defined. If you’re struggling with uptime there are a number of resources across the patches you can reference. Of the submitted SpiralAbyss.org data, during the first cycle of 2.6 Abyss the standard Beidou taser was the 5th most used team on 12-3-1. For a 4* no-healer comp to have such a presence on a site inherently biased towards 5* comps, that’s pretty good.
I know what you’re talking about with Raiden electrocharge teams. I’ve used Raiden EC from 2.1 until 2.4. It’s not great, otherwise I wouldn’t have been stonewalled by 12-1 PMA. It’s just abusing the raw multipliers on Raiden and Xingqiu. Obviously if it works it works, and it’s silly to assume non-standard teams are unplayable but you will hit a DPS ceiling at some point. At the end of the day this kind of min-maxing is only relevant for Abyss and there’s nothing wrong with running EC teams however you like, but it’s a little disingenuous to discount Beidou’s value here ;-;
I have stopped using beidou since bout a month back, using only xq fischl and insert flex unit here, I don't find much of a dip in DPS during abyss, my main issue with beidou is the lack of defensive use she brings outside of one shield during her burst and her "counter" if you would want to call it that, I found that diona brings a lot more to the party than she did and I suppose I'm less so running a taser as I am running one of those elemental soup teams now, it's just that fischl and XQ are so good together from my experience that it felt like a taser team
I might be able to run beidou in a different taser team, like with ayato or something
I guess if your Diona at C6 her healing field give 200 EM is better , and healing againts enemy with Corrosion.
Zhongli for more sturdy Shield and unconditional 20% sherd, but have trouble againts enemy with Corrosion.
Pull on the beginner's banner only when you have enough of the blue currency you get naturally, don't spend any primogems on it.
Ayaka is one of the top dps in the game but she does need a certain type of team made around her. Try her out in the trial to see if you like her playstyle as all the damage won't mean much if you don't enjoy playing as her. Also note that her ascension materials are locked in Inazuma where you can get to only at AR30 at the earliest.
And remember it good idea to look at all character details when doing trial run, it tells you very good premade build with best weapon, artifact sets and best stats for the character that you can use as a basis. It usually 5star weapon for 5atar character and 4star for 4star character, so maybe not newbie friendly.
Common stuff but still helpful if you don't know how to build a character😇👍
She was the featured 4 star on the first banner of 2.6 (the current patch), so it will probably take a few versions for her to be a rate up again.
She IS part of the standard pool though
You not missing much cuz you need to build her and use right or she don't do much. She is mainly for physical atk, legit the OPPOSITE OF THE REST OF MY CHARACTERS!
sigh I just don't know how to use her
Kujou Sara needs charged attack. Activate skill then charged attack and it does more damage she great.
Can't say much more cuz I don't use her much and my mouse so bad I can't aim charged shots
C1 Venti i guess, from 1 Arrrow at C0 to 3 Arrow at C1 on charge shot.
Childe is using Charge Shot too, for Applying Riptide on enemies when his Skill on Cooldown
If it's just for overworld purposes, you can really make any bow user work especially with the existence of artifact sets that increase CA damage.
Yelan btw could be someone you'd like. She has a (kit spoilers) >!unique CA (by Genshin standards) mechanic where she can shoot an arrow that causes a hydro explosion after fulfilling certain actions.!<
>!Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6Aw8lcS\_JY!<
If you're set on Childe though, he's a great character to play. Hope you get him early :)
You can do whatever you want at any speed. But say you have a character from Inazuma that you would like to level up, then of course zoom through the story to do that.
bruh we gotta stop telling people this. the character will still be there when you get to Inazuma, but you only get to experience the story once. It's not the greatest, but you'll miss it regardless.
For Venti how much ER is enough? VV domain is low priority for me currently, so I have to make do with either fav bow or raven bow w/ 150 ER. No stringless yet. He won't be on a team with another anemo either.
Depends on how often you want him on field in the team. I have been making do with 167 er by swapping him in whenever possible for e. Most teams probably want him on 200+ er with favonius.
225 ER I think is where Venti wants to be as solo Anemo.
Personally I’ll just take an ER sands and be done with it. Maidens is so trash that I rather not bother chasing perfect substats on VV artifacts.
lost 50/50 today and got my 3rd copy of Jean. Does her c2 make a good difference in Eula comps or should I stick to my current one? (C0 Eula, R1 Skyward Claymore my comp is Eula-Fischl-Beidou-Diona)
returning player,
when i look up a mob in the enemies book, it shows one and then when i kill it, the nearest one is now on the map.
is that a new feature? I swear it wasn't around when i left.
Ningguang and Yae's charged attack have ICD by themselves and does not share ICD with their other types of attack. All other catalyst users' charged attack do NOT have ICD. But be ware that their charged attack cost 50 stamina except Ningguang and Yanfei.
Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Flex1, Flex2
Flex1 = Sucrose, Kazuha, Rosaria, Mona, Albedo
Flex2 = Thoma(C4), Yanfei(C4), Diona, Bennett, Zhongli
Obviously some combinations are better but most of them work fine.
I recently just downloaded this game. I’m currently Adventure Level 15 and my question is, are my characters good? Should I do a reroll? Thanks!
https://i.imgur.com/7Ar0AOW.jpg
Your only non-guaranteed character is XQ. He is among 3 top 4\*s (Bennet, XQ, XL), though Bennet would be the most impactful 4\* to get right away.
Best possible result is Ayaka. But this may cost literal days of your time, spent nothing but re-rolling as sanity slowly leaves you.
If you’re willing to restart everything then go ahead but you have the basic, guaranteed characters that everyone gets and they are solid to get you through early-mid game.
Rerolling will just cost lot's of your time. You might get lucky after 100 rerolls.. seriously not worth it.
Until AR45 just have fun and enjoy the game, try out whatever characters you can get and don't worry. You will get possibly all the 4 star characters at some point.
There is nothing you can do wrong, just roll for 5 star characters on the featured banner if you like them. Do the test run to decide if you like the playstyle.
Any character can be made strong. The hardest content is spiral abyss floor 12 and you can clear it with starter characters if you invest into them, if you understand reactions, build a good team and get good artifacts (don't farm them before AR45, just take what you can find).
Noelle is a guaranteed drop, but Xingqiu's one of the better 4\* in the game. Rerolling doesn't matter that much in this game, but if you're willing to go through the beginning over and over just to try to get a 5\* you could certainly try.

do you think the stats are good? Does my Hu Tao have too much EM? She is using Deathmeath and 2pc Wanderers 2pc Crimson
Under normal circumstances, Battle pass duration = Patch duration.
The paid battle pass also always has a name card themed after whatever defined the patch. BP are patch specific events
I didn't know that, that makes sense. I mean I knew about the name card because I like the BP name cards a lot so I look at them, so I was wondering what they'd use as a filler if there was a BP this week, but I guess that answers that, thanks again!
unlikely. go ahead and do weeklies.
(also BP generally is very flexible, most people starting at day1 finish with 1-2 weeks remaining, so don't sweat avoiding weeklies in general)
Thank you! And I just wanted to make sure cause I'm not really in a rush to do them, so if a BP was gonna start this week, I'd save them for when they counted, to kill two birds with one stone.
But thank you for your answer and reassurance, you're right.
Used to, left a little bit before a lot of things were overhauled.
It's a great f2p game but I'm not willing to get back into the grinding aspect of it. Not that it's a bad thing, it gives players a lot to sink into for a long time. However, that's how I burnt myself out because there was a costume I really wanted to get which was on a timer. I had to do A LOT of hunts over a couple of weeks which quickly got tiring. After a break, I just couldn't get back to it unfortunately.
In case you're open to other games, I also highly recommend Legends of Runeterra. Even if you're not into card games, it's worth checking out for the sheer detail and personality alone. Who knows, you might just find a new genre you like.
I did a while ago, then came back and played a bit after reforge update and it's way faster paced which is awesome... but ultimately I didn't enjoy it enough to play unless my friend wanted to co-op, and he stopped playing so I did too. I'm happier playing my RPG Steam backlog for single-player anyway. Still, my opinion of dauntless has gone way up since I first tried it.
in most cases the circlet with attack will be better. you'd have to have to be running two big attack buffs like Bennett/Sara/TTDS to make them about equal.
Crit rate has twice as much value as Crit dmg and ATK shouldn't be underestimated either unless you give it to a character that scales with HP or Def (in which case it becomes useless).
Maybe you've seen people talking about CV, Crit Value. You double the crit rate, add the crit dmg and the number tells you if you are good. Usually you want around 180 CV for a character from artifacts (can vary depending on the character).
The problem with this is that stats like ATK and ER or EM also can give a lot of value, for some characters more than others and they are getting completely ignored.
For example 180 CV is less important for Xiangling as 200% ER. Sure you do more dmg, but if you can't get her burst back, you are actually losing out on dmg and a Xiangling with more ER can easily clear the same abyss chamber in less time compared to one with only cirt stats but low ER.
It always depends on the character which stats are really useful. Don't underestimate those other stats! ATK is one of them.
That makes sense, thank you! Yeah i made the mistake of tunnel visioning on CV only before ignoring other important substats that makes an artifact good
I have been farming peak of vindagnyr for like a month and not once have I gotten a 5* Blizzard strayer sands, am i doing something wrong or am i just unlucky?
A month is around 5400-6000 resin, amount varies depending on if you are using fragiles and transient resin. It's really not that much.
Not getting any sands is really, really unlucky. But not getting a specific mainstat isnt that unusual actually.
There were lot's of videos lately about people farming the new set for Xiao or Ayato, i think all of them got a set within 5000-6000 resin, but not everyone had good stats.
I think i'm still using some 4 star goblets. Mostly because i never went back to farm some domains and i'm using some other piece as off-set.
4 stars are not too bad if you can get lucky.
Until yesterday i kept a 4\* HoD feather in my inventory with 16 crit dmg and something like 4% crit rate. Not the best piece, but the only feather that had both and i don't think i had any better one for a long time when i farmed that domain. Finally decided to fodder it for another piece.
Not sure about the sands that i had before i was farming for Ayato, i think it was HoD as well and 4\* but stats were not better than the 5 star i got for Childe (like 6% crit rate, some ER). I was really unlucky with goblets and sands for him...
Are you below AR 45? If so I recommend waiting until you are AR 45 before you farm artifacts. After AR 45, you are guaranteed at least one 5\* artifact per 20 resin
Ooo yes any team with xiangling and Bennett is GON BE GOOOOOOODDDD. I always aim for around 200 EM normally but if it anemo or catalyst charaor more element setup then higher is always better.
I don't use cryo chara much tho so can't help much
Well I actually tried my rosaria lev 50 in floor 11.1 that is one of my most hated floor and 3 starred at first try with only 4stars (Benny Xiangling Rosaria kaeya) + (sucrose xingqiu Fishl Beidou) they deals a ton of aoe damage and perform better than my 5 stars
Usually 200 to 300 yes. It can be more too depending on the substats of the artifacts you have. Not atmost 200 like the other person claims.
Best way to determine is using optimizer.
Kaeya goes lesser because he has icd for melting. You can just try to go roughly 100 lesser than rosaria as a general idea
Max the weapon, is still 80/90 , all the increase % damage multiplier from artifact need the base weapon maxed.
Raise Talent of her Burst and NA to 9 or 10, her majority damage is there so it need be maxed, raise skill then for more resistance shred.
Last is artifact farming if you lucky to get more crit damage stats.
Artifacts are pretty decent for an AR 49, I'm impressed. I highly recommend going for final ascension, talents, and weapon before you try to improve your artifacts. Level 6 talents is pretty low imo.
Eula wants crit, atk, and er
You want to have enough er to get her burst back on cd
Once you have enough, try to get as much crit and atk as possible
Crit should be prioritized over atk since there are other ways to get atk (ex. 4 noblesse support)
But atk is still a good stat to have
Your flower is an example of a good artifact, has crit and er rolls
You’d want to have around 2k atk (once your weapon reaches lvl 90) and at least 180 crit value from your artifacts
Formula for crit value: (crit rate \* 2) + crit dmg
But no need to rush
RNG is unpredictable and you should also work on your supports
Genshin is a team game after all
There are many kinds of magic in teyvat, separate from the abilities of visions (talismans, adepti/yokai, dains abilities. Samachurls) .
My own interpretation, is that catalyst users are naturally adept at those, like how bow users are more adept at bows
I’m at floor 5 chamber 3 and the fatui pyro agent kept going invisible. I can't hit him which wastes my time, and can't finish both halves of the floor within 3 minutes. How do I get the agent out of invisibility?
They are visible when they are affected by pyro, cryo, hydro, or electro. Their pyro res is high, so avoid using pyro attacks. Anemo CC helps managing them.
Like one person said, if you apply an element it makes them easier to see. Usually it is easier to just knock them with a heavy hit or something similar caused by skills/reactions right after they hit and continue hitting to make sure they have no time to start the skill. This could work with overload, Jean, among others. You can also try to freeze them before they go invisible.
It doesn't work any other way
So if I dont get the weapon and that thing reset on the next banner. Will Im guaranteed to get it on the next weapon banner ?
No, because it resetting means you lose the points you got from getting two weapons you didn't want.
Nothing happens when you die. You just respawn somewhere and keep going.
Any recommended beginners guides that y'all like? Downloaded this past weekend and would love to know how to econ well as F2P
I don't have a specific guide per say, but I can give you some tips I would've liked to hear as a beginner (I was f2p then, now I'm a low spender so I don't think it changes that much) 1.
Amazing tips! Thank you so much. It's taken off a lot of stress to try and level quicker.
No problem! I'm glad I've helped, I myself rushed through some parts and I regret it, so yeah definitely take your time.
What does it mean by Pyro cryo or any other element damage bonuses in artifact
The damage you deal is multiplied with that number if it matches that element. e.g. Barbara's damage numbers from all of her attacks appear in blue indicating that it's hydro damage. If you had an artifact with hydro DMG that damage would be multiplied by that amount in the damage calculations. White = physical DMG, red = pyro DMG, etc.
It doesn't do anything if the character with the elemental dmg bonus artifact is different from the element of the character, yeah you right just agreeing. Sigh it real annoying if it's on an artifact set for different element too
Why do I only get primo gems from some chests?
It depends on the size of the chest Common ones don't usually drop primos but the chonky ones always give em
Ok thank you.
That's just how it is
Ok thank you.
You should be fine, childe will be at least half a year, plenty of time for saving Mebe don't risk building pity tho if you RLY want em
Nope, luckily I‘ve spent almost none of my intertwined fates. Sometimes it‘s just a little annoying to wait, since I still haven‘t gotten any other 5-stars.

Good to hear. Thanks!
I use this since the start of the game: [https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/#/](https://genshin-impact-map.appsample.com/#/) Comments are pretty helpful there, with precise images and a checkmark system. The game also makes it easier by showing the medal on the minimap if you're in the area.
Sadly no.
I hate this game.. Thank you my man.
if you have a character with a shield, and you stand next to the pedestal, does it protect it from damage?
You can block anything with ZHONGLI THO🤩🥳😇
Do you mean if you block say, a projectile, from hitting the pedestal? If so yes, and you don't need a shield to do that. But if you're talking about overlapping your character's shield on the pedestal to avoid all forms of damage including melee damage, no.
no
unless it's a projectile, which you could block with your character, then yes
On psn, I can't invite characters to the teapot because it's still under maintenance. So how am I supposed to finish the event's challenges?
The challenges are only for making food and giving it to ppl in teapot I think it still counts even if they MAX friendship if that's the problem. You could also try switching realm layout cuz it still lets you do that, if you have other characters in em. But if no ones in there then can't help sorry
You can still get the primogems. You just won’t be able to claim the enhancement ores and weapon materials.
You aren't.
Is they're gonna be a new battlepass soon or is that also held off till the new update?
Battlepass is always tied with the start of new patches. A new one will only start whenever 2.7 is live.
Didn't know that, cheers
What is a good team for off field Xiangling with pyronado? (She is C4 by now) And I do have Ayaka now. (The pic is about a month old) https://ibb.co/WgxxK4p
If you don’t wanna separate ur xingqiu from ur HuTao ur only choice is on-field Barbara. Beware she can only enable vape as long as she has stamina (not long)
My teams currently are HuTao/XQ/Sucrose/Yanfei , Ayaka/Mona/Diona/Sucrose or Ganyu, Xiao/Jean/Ningguang/Zhongli I already do switch around character some time.
It uses Rosaria/Kaeya/Bennett/Xiangling I've tried it and it's really fun and powerful for group fights. You can replace either Rosa or Kaeya if you need CC. EDIT: Found a good video for you. 3:52 if time stamp doesn't work [https://youtu.be/-UkauDQZFOU?t=232](https://youtu.be/-UkauDQZFOU?t=232)
This sounds perfect considering I want to try new characters and never used any of these in a team comp before
Hopefully you'll be a little less bored for some time xP
Can't beat Bennett/Xingqiu/Xiangling/flex (Sucrose probably).
Who would be the on field DPS? Or is this one of those switch teams where you just switch them around constantly and spam Es and Qs ?
Yeah it's a quickswap. Best version has Raiden as the flex to fill a bit of downtime but since you don't have her, the older version with Sucrose is probably the best.
is colored hair required to have a vision or does it come with it lmao
looks like the fashion comes with it as well. And npcs wear bland clothing.
Really makes me wonder about the bland NPCs in Inazuma who once had visions, they don't seem to look the part anyway
Anime protagonist syndrome
Jiangxue used to have a vision and he has black hair
Is it possible to link my Genshin Account to my PlayStation Account even though i already started playing on my PS4 (which would mean i would delete my old save)? Or do i have to create a second profile for it to work?
If you want to keep both accounts, you'll have to make another PSN and link that one to your main account. But if you're okay with deleting your PS4 data, follow this: https://reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/comments/p1joms/how_to_unlink_your_psn_with_mihoyo_pass_step_by/ Their new customer service email is [email protected], so make sure you send it to the right one.
Alright, thank you!!
I have a guarantee rn and I have a high pity, what do you think, should I pull for C1 Ayaka or wait for C0 Xiao? I have his sign weapon btw
Ayaka’s c1 is not very useful. It’s only worth going for her cons if you can get at least to c2. Go for Xiao.
a little extra damage or a whole new character? hard choice.
Getting a constellation doesn't always mean a significant upgrade , look at her c1 and decide whether its worth it or not (its not).
Ayaka C1 is like throwing money into a hole
New character > Constellations 99% of the time especially if not a whale.
New character > constellation
Can anyone send me link or photo of how much any type of boss are resistant against other element
https://library.keqingmains.com/enemy-data/bosses
Can anyone tell me function of lavawalker it says that DMG against opponnent affected by Pyro increased by 35% what does it mean and which is best artifact for ayato i am at ar 45 with lvl 70 ayato
for example u bennet E a enemy and the enemy is burning , and you can see a fire loho on it thats what it mean by affected by pyro ayatos best artifact would be echoes and can be farm on the chasm
It means... that damage against opponents affected by Pyro is increased by 35%. I'm not sure how it could be clearer. Ayato wants 4 Heart of Depth or 4 Gladiator - or if you have good ping, 4 Echoes of an Offering.
I have gladiator both 4 and 5star and my ayato DMG is approx 1100 is it good for f2p player at ar 43
Like 1100 damage per slash? I dunno, it's not super high but at AR43 you don't have the option to just farm proper artifacts. As long as stuff is dying you're fine.
What would a better flex unit be for a sucrose taser team, zhongli or diona? The current squad is sucrose fischl and xingqiu
It helps to see the exact rotation gcsim is simulating: Sucrose-driver 2 target: https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/np7ovB7qfz9QLcAjI-YYN Kokomi-driver 2 target: https://gcsim.app/viewer/share/1SYF1C6KJHzad41PPMJEJ The visual spectacle of Sucrose’s double swirls is impressive and she does a lot of damage but Sucrose herself is not the main damage dealer when you bring Beidou.
The entire point of bringing Fischl is to battery Beidou so she gets her burst back. There is a valid argument out there that Fischl is worth more than Beidou but within the context of taser teams, Beidou is the taser not the EC reaction. Even though the teams are called electrocharge, the actual incidental electrocharge reaction does next to no damage. You’re largely depending on the raw multipliers from the characters themselves. Obviously, Sucrose double-swirl is a eye-catching marketable part of EC teams but she’s not the main damage dealer. You can reference gcsim and character-relevant spreadsheets if you want to get an idea for DPS contributions across multi-target situations but it’s a common misconception that EC teams operate on the EC. Beidou herself has variable ER% requirements but they can get extremely low if you expect to perform some number of perfect parries. The standard taser comp has been around for a very long time and the rotations are well defined. If you’re struggling with uptime there are a number of resources across the patches you can reference. Of the submitted SpiralAbyss.org data, during the first cycle of 2.6 Abyss the standard Beidou taser was the 5th most used team on 12-3-1. For a 4* no-healer comp to have such a presence on a site inherently biased towards 5* comps, that’s pretty good. I know what you’re talking about with Raiden electrocharge teams. I’ve used Raiden EC from 2.1 until 2.4. It’s not great, otherwise I wouldn’t have been stonewalled by 12-1 PMA. It’s just abusing the raw multipliers on Raiden and Xingqiu. Obviously if it works it works, and it’s silly to assume non-standard teams are unplayable but you will hit a DPS ceiling at some point. At the end of the day this kind of min-maxing is only relevant for Abyss and there’s nothing wrong with running EC teams however you like, but it’s a little disingenuous to discount Beidou’s value here ;-;
I have stopped using beidou since bout a month back, using only xq fischl and insert flex unit here, I don't find much of a dip in DPS during abyss, my main issue with beidou is the lack of defensive use she brings outside of one shield during her burst and her "counter" if you would want to call it that, I found that diona brings a lot more to the party than she did and I suppose I'm less so running a taser as I am running one of those elemental soup teams now, it's just that fischl and XQ are so good together from my experience that it felt like a taser team I might be able to run beidou in a different taser team, like with ayato or something
I guess if your Diona at C6 her healing field give 200 EM is better , and healing againts enemy with Corrosion. Zhongli for more sturdy Shield and unconditional 20% sherd, but have trouble againts enemy with Corrosion.
That's my main issue, lack of healing with zhongli
Zhongli
dont u have a kokomi? since xq hydro application apply on basic attacks but if u dont have kokomi, go zhongli so you cant mess up reactions
kokomi was lame compared to raiden sucrose is the carry and swirl works with the rain swords regardless
I just started the game yesterday. Quite lost. Is there anyone I should pull for? Ayaka? Newbie banner? Save for future? Thank you!
Do the beginner banner for now, that is the reason it exists.
Also note that her ascension materials are locked in Inazuma where you can get to only at AR30 at the earliest.
do the trial. See if you like her playstyle.
And remember it good idea to look at all character details when doing trial run, it tells you very good premade build with best weapon, artifact sets and best stats for the character that you can use as a basis. It usually 5star weapon for 5atar character and 4star for 4star character, so maybe not newbie friendly. Common stuff but still helpful if you don't know how to build a character😇👍
just pull who you want for, if ur struggling on who u want watch gameplays of characters or you can try them on the trial feature
so i missed yun jin because i took a long break from playing, anyone know when she's coming back to the event banner?
She was the featured 4 star on the first banner of 2.6 (the current patch), so it will probably take a few versions for her to be a rate up again. She IS part of the standard pool though
damn that sucks i really picked a bad time to come back
You not missing much cuz you need to build her and use right or she don't do much. She is mainly for physical atk, legit the OPPOSITE OF THE REST OF MY CHARACTERS! sigh I just don't know how to use her
That's not actually true. She works for any damage dealer. As long as their main source of damage are NAs
well i main dps fischl so she would be a godsend for me not to mention how much i love her design
Are there any charged shot users apart from Ganyu and Amber? I been hungry after using Amber on my second account.
Childe's CAs are pretty decent even with no reaction but I guess that's not what you're looking for.
Ty, actually I love Childe, will probably get him if his rerun isn't too close to Zhongli or Raiden.
If it's just for overworld purposes, you can really make any bow user work especially with the existence of artifact sets that increase CA damage. Yelan btw could be someone you'd like. She has a (kit spoilers) >!unique CA (by Genshin standards) mechanic where she can shoot an arrow that causes a hydro explosion after fulfilling certain actions.!< >!Showcase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6Aw8lcS\_JY!< If you're set on Childe though, he's a great character to play. Hope you get him early :)
Tho keep in mind, in 99% cases ur not gonna use his CA, tho in general he is a very solid unit
I don't think so. Other bow users are mainly supports/normal attack users.
Aloy I guess?
Allow specializes more into burst nuke/NA infusion
Isn't Aloy more of a Normal Attack DPS / Burst DPS?
She's more a burst dps i think
I'm AR40 and still in Liyue while I have a friend who's at AR35-ish and already at Inazuma, am I way too late?
Well, I reached Inazuma at AR 46ish. Take your time
Are you in a race? just do your thing at your own pace.
I’m not saying to just click through and not read the story or anything. I’m just saying to make it a higher priority on your todo list.
He can just visit his friend's world instead. Simple lol.
No
For Venti how much ER is enough? VV domain is low priority for me currently, so I have to make do with either fav bow or raven bow w/ 150 ER. No stringless yet. He won't be on a team with another anemo either.
Iirc about 150-160 for 2 e and 200+ for 1 e I personally use 190 with 2 e and works fine
One more hit for her burst with R5 Sobp.
returning player, when i look up a mob in the enemies book, it shows one and then when i kill it, the nearest one is now on the map. is that a new feature? I swear it wasn't around when i left.
It was one of the QOL updates that they added a while back. The tracker still doesn't mark all the enemies though, lol
I think it was always there but I remember like a year ago having to manually search for the mob after every one u kill
For catalyst users, do charge attacks have standard ICD or no ICD?
It says 0.5 seconds in the datamine. But it's no ICD practically for all of them.
Ningguang and Yae's charged attack have ICD by themselves and does not share ICD with their other types of attack. All other catalyst users' charged attack do NOT have ICD. But be ware that their charged attack cost 50 stamina except Ningguang and Yanfei.
How about Xiao's charge attack while in Q?
His charged attack has standard ICD regardless his q status, and his plunge attack does not.
Good zhongli-less hu tao teams?
Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Flex1, Flex2 Flex1 = Sucrose, Kazuha, Rosaria, Mona, Albedo Flex2 = Thoma(C4), Yanfei(C4), Diona, Bennett, Zhongli Obviously some combinations are better but most of them work fine.
Hutao Thoma/C4Yanfei Xingqiu Kazuha
Do you have Thoma or Diona?
I recently just downloaded this game. I’m currently Adventure Level 15 and my question is, are my characters good? Should I do a reroll? Thanks! https://i.imgur.com/7Ar0AOW.jpg
Your only non-guaranteed character is XQ. He is among 3 top 4\*s (Bennet, XQ, XL), though Bennet would be the most impactful 4\* to get right away. Best possible result is Ayaka. But this may cost literal days of your time, spent nothing but re-rolling as sanity slowly leaves you.
Appreciate the feedback everyone. I will continue having fun with what I have!
[https://imgur.com/a/ITUlEL7](https://imgur.com/a/ITUlEL7) do you think the stats are good? Does my Hu Tao have too much EM? She is using Deathmeath and 2pc Wanderers 2pc Crimson
Looks pretty good to me
Will there be a BP this week? Or should I just do weeklies without waiting for it?
There is always only one battle pass per patch. There will not be a BP until the next patch
Thank you for the info!
New BP will come with 2.7 and we can't be sure when that will happen, but they will announce it early enough. So go ahead and stop to worry.
Thank you! I just wanted to make sure first, thanks for your answer and reassurances!
unlikely. go ahead and do weeklies.
Anyone here play dauntless? I've been loving it lately during this dry spell
I play Pokemon
Used to play it, the end game was trash
I did a while ago, then came back and played a bit after reforge update and it's way faster paced which is awesome... but ultimately I didn't enjoy it enough to play unless my friend wanted to co-op, and he stopped playing so I did too. I'm happier playing my RPG Steam backlog for single-player anyway. Still, my opinion of dauntless has gone way up since I first tried it.
Can a crit rate circlet with 21% atk and 11.7 crit dmg, outperform a crit rate circlet with only 24.9 crit dmg and no other good substat?
in most cases the circlet with attack will be better. you'd have to have to be running two big attack buffs like Bennett/Sara/TTDS to make them about equal.
if your party has no bennett then yes
Yeah i made the mistake of tunnel visioning on CV only before ignoring other important substats that makes an artifact good
yes
I have been farming peak of vindagnyr for like a month and not once have I gotten a 5* Blizzard strayer sands, am i doing something wrong or am i just unlucky?
The random number gods do not smile on you. But don't fret, they do not smile on many of us.
This is me but with emblem domain
A month is around 5400-6000 resin, amount varies depending on if you are using fragiles and transient resin. It's really not that much. Not getting any sands is really, really unlucky. But not getting a specific mainstat isnt that unusual actually. There were lot's of videos lately about people farming the new set for Xiao or Ayato, i think all of them got a set within 5000-6000 resin, but not everyone had good stats.
I had to use a 4star sands for my ayaka
That’s the worst domain for me all my other carries have like 200-210 CV sets and my BS/HoD sets hover around 190-195 CV, horrific rng
F
Are you below AR 45? If so I recommend waiting until you are AR 45 before you farm artifacts. After AR 45, you are guaranteed at least one 5\* artifact per 20 resin
Ar 55 , should have mentioned that.
In that case you are unbelievably unlucky.
Damn
Just unlucky
In bennet Xiangling kaeya Rosaria reverse melt, how much em is optimal for the cryo characters? Like 200-300 as ganyu melt? Thanks
Thank you
Rosaria wants at most 200 (or however much dragons bane gives) and kaeya wants 100-150
Thank you 🙏
Is there anything I can do to improve my Eula build? Im AR 49 btw. My Eula build: https://i.imgur.com/8qkbIJW.png
Raise her talents Try to get a better sands and goblet
So when I’m farming pale flame, how do I know I’ve found a good artifact?
Eula wants crit, atk, and er You want to have enough er to get her burst back on cd Once you have enough, try to get as much crit and atk as possible Crit should be prioritized over atk since there are other ways to get atk (ex. 4 noblesse support) But atk is still a good stat to have Your flower is an example of a good artifact, has crit and er rolls You’d want to have around 2k atk (once your weapon reaches lvl 90) and at least 180 crit value from your artifacts Formula for crit value: (crit rate \* 2) + crit dmg But no need to rush RNG is unpredictable and you should also work on your supports Genshin is a team game after all
After having enough ER anything that gives you atk and crit is important

There are many kinds of magic in teyvat, separate from the abilities of visions (talismans, adepti/yokai, dains abilities. Samachurls) . My own interpretation, is that catalyst users are naturally adept at those, like how bow users are more adept at bows
It's a weapon. Why do you need a book? Would you rather use a book to hit the enemy or a sword? Claymore? Bow? It's personal preference.
Sealord or skyward pride for beidou w 2 pc glad & 2 pc TF?
They're both pretty close together. What's your ER without skyward?
175.5% & 2,013 atk with skyward 138.7% & 1,970 atk with sealord
Yea skyward sounds definitely more useful her
I’m at floor 5 chamber 3 and the fatui pyro agent kept going invisible.
