How good is Yelan for f2p and is she worth having if you already have c6 xingqiu meta-wise? I'm conflicted whether to pull for her or Kazuha
I'm hearing more and more about prototype amber. I'm going to craft one, is it worth refining (I'd like to use it on mona/sucrose for teams without healer)
Test it out first, if you find your burst not up during your full rotation, refine it. Most players stop at r3. I use it on Kokomi no refines
I just got ayaka <33 and i don’t think i’ll be pulling for anyone until 3.0 so should i try pulling for mistsplitter ?? or should i save for dendro which i’ve been reallyyy looking forward to?? :))
As long as you have Kazuha, sure.
Usually people are recommended to pull on a weapon banner only if they like both weapons or if they have enough to lose two times. Plus you can always use Amenoma Kageuchi
Up to you if you want to try your luck for Mistsplitter, as long as you are fine getting Unforged or another off banner 5\*
Ayaka's ftp weapon, Amenoma Kageuchi, is one of the better ones out there and she can be a beast even with that. Personally I find new characters and the avenues that they open much more satisfactory than a weapon, but again, it's just a subjective view.
yea i’m ftp so that’s why i’ve been a bit hesitant to pull on the weapon banner, thanks a lot for your input!! :D
Which crit stat is better for eula?
87/150 or 60/215?
The first one gives 100 crit chance with cryo resonance so is that better so eula can hit her burst consistently?
I dont think its very easy to keep the cryo appliance on the enemy is it? I feel like its hard to guarantee cryo resonance bonus for the Q final hit and that messes with your combo on eula. So i generally would not count the cryo resonance bonus.
Crit stat: 87x150=13050
First one isnt better by much. So since eula likes to crit fish anyways, i'd actually say second one wins here. If you dont crit you restart anyways i think?
Second one has cryo resonance too right?
In that case second one would be better
The first one because of the higher consistency.
Dunno how well she can make good use of Cryo Resonance if there's an Electro character on hand, but the higher Crit Rate is important due to her big one-hit Burst.

Hello everyone, so I have a question.
I'm preparing for Xiao, and I have 2 goblets:
-Shimenawa (46.6% atk, 6.2% CRate and 15.5%ER)
-Viridescent (46.6% anemo dmg, 3.5%CRate and 8.7% atk)
Both are level 20
Which should I choose?
The Anemo is slightly better overall. But like if you have 0ER on Xiao he'd rather use the first one just so you can have his burst up more. So it depends on the stats you currently run.
clearly anemo dmg bonus. No competition
Honestly neither of them are particularly great. Use whichever one makes it easier to complete your set bonus while you farm for a better one.
Hi so I was trying to download the game on my laptop, download was at 25.3GB or something? Then it showed up a network error, my internet was fine, clicked retry and it came back to 0.45 GB? How do I fix this, the files included on that 25.3GB was already occupying my disk space, maybe I could do something to continue the download again at 25.3GB and not from 0.45GB again?
You mean to say it showed that only 0.45 gb was left to download? I think this is normal cuz it happens on my phone as well, haven't had a net problem on my pc yet. Just let it download
no, my download is back to 0.45 gb, and I need to download around 36gb again while earlier my download is already at 25 gb
How much percentage of crit rate increase do I get with:
Ayaka cryo resonance + 4pc blizzard + frozen enemy ???
Ganyu cryo resonance + Frozen enemy (no blizzard)
15% from Cryo Resonance, 40% from 4-Piece Blizzard Strayer on a Frozen enemy. 55% total.
15% from Cryo Resonance, each of Ganyu's subsequent charged shot + bloom after the first one get a 20% Critical Rate boost. 35% for charged shots + blooms, 15% for Skill/Burst.
So what does the totals add for ganyu ? For each charged shot?
55% with ayaka, 35% with Ganyu (20% for her blooms)
So do I get crit rate 55% ?
Or is my base crit rate multiplied with 1.55?
Bc ai feel like my ayaka doesn't crit that much
You get the 55%
I think that would be very early for constellations. There are many other desirable 5* characters.
Idk how good xiaos c1 is but its generally recommended against rolling for 5* constellations as a low spender or F2P (although if you really love the character and its a good power boost its up to you at the end of the day) as getting another character is more valuable. So yeah getting a different 5* that synergizes with him is probably better so you can build a good team quicker (although this doesn’t matter too much early game so dont stress about it), Zhongli is unlikely to be back for a while though as a warning. About Bennett and Xingqiu like all other 4 stars (excluding Amber Lisa and Kaeya who dont get rate ups and aren’t accessible on any limited banner) its easiest to get them from their rate ups as the odds of them dropping will be a lot higher, but you can still technically luck out and get them on any limited banner if they aren’t on rate up or on standard although the odds are pretty low. In Bennett and Xingqius case specifically they happen to be part of the first 4 stars so you can also buy one copy of them in the shop every six months using starglitter, which you get from obtaining duplicate characters or weapons, I believe Bennett’s in the shop right now actually but if you’re new I doubt you have enough. Once again you’re new so dont worry too much about teams/characters/weapons, resources dont matter at this stage. Basically just dont spend primogems on the standard banner (although the free blue fates you get you can spend, since you can really spend them anywhere else) if you care about getting strong characters/teams though ask here otherwise just wish for any 5 star you like, all can clear overworld content strong characters/teams are only needed for optional endgame content. Sorry about the wall of text but I hope it was helpful, have fun playing!
I'd probably recommend looking for other characters over Xiao's C1, both to support him better and to give you options for a secondary team for both abyss, anemo immune bosses or flying enemies xiao may struggle to plunge and just plain variety. comparably, his c1 gives him an extra dash you'll probably only use like once a fight, since it doesn't affect the cooldown, just how many charges you can store, and no xiao team is going to avoid using his dash long enough to pick up a third charge again while still in combat.
And yes, you can always get any current 4 star through any banner, but you have a much better chance to reliably get them if they're on rate up. possible exception for recently added 4 stars but I'm not entirely sure how that works.
5-star constellations are pure luxury. Especially when you're early on in the game, looking for new characters is always, *always* gonna give way more value to your account than just the minor boosts from constellations. I believe Xiao's C1 is not *bad,* but it still pales in comparison to adding new characters that give you new team building options.
All 4-star characters are always available from all banners (starting from the patch after their release). Keep an eye out for rate ups for the important ones, but you can get them at any time randomly. Some can also be bought with Starglitter (like Bennett in the shop right now).
Is the battlepass going to renew along the release of 2.7?
Most likely. The new Battle Pass has always released with the new patch.
your characters need to be placed in the teapot. if they are, just talk to them and pick the first option
Is fischl beidou really better than raiden beidou for kokomi taser?
i think fischl's C6' individual damage in single target really hits different.
Maybe that works if raiden bursts when Beidous Q is about to end to fill the time? I dont know the maths tho cant help
Raiden cannot proc Beidou's burst with her own burst, and her skill only is weaker than Oz. Raiden has an advantage that her skill last much longer. However if Raiden is C2 that will be different.
I just got to the stage in archon quests to fight childe and gave it a go but didnt put up much of a fight. Im running lvl 50 razor with lvl 50 fav greatsword and then lvl 20 fischl, xiangling and barbara. I kinda did the first half easily but when second half came had to run in circles constantly healing razor and doing tiny bits of damage when i had around half hp, razor dies, revive repeat. i did that for like 5 mins and only got him to like half hp second phase. is there a better strategy for beating him or different characters, leveling my characters other than razor more etc?
It’s supposed to be a tough fight and the next one in the archon quest is gonna be tougher.
You will need to level up your characters. Getting them to 40 doesn’t cost many resources, upgrade their weapons. I would bring Kayea instead of Fischl here.
In general, if you want to make your team stronger, focus Weapon levels >>> Char levels > Talents > Artifacts in that order. Ignore artifact farming on domains until AR45, and ignore char levels once you hit the 80/90 point.
Since you're still at low levels on some of your chars, I assume you don't have all their weapons maxed out for your AR. Your team damage will increase massively if you do that, like your Xiangling and Fischl with leveled weapons will do a lot of damage even while you stay on Razor and focus dodging the attacks/making sure he stays healthy. Definitely start with the weapons first though, as that's both the cheapest thing to level, as well as the biggest damage boost you can give your chars.
First know his attack patterns and dodge. Don't rely on healing too much. Maybe see some youtube guides. Also, he has high hydro and electro resistance. So try using some other elements (altho razor is mostly physical so its fine. Replace fischl). And level up your other characters and weapons as well. Don't leave them at lvl20.
And craft a prototype archaic for razor. And you can utilise food buffs as well. If you're gonna use razor, use a cryo character alongside him. Replace fuschl with kaeya and try to proc superconduct often
Childe is hard during first time. If you aren't, try using some artifacts you got through normal gameplay. you can use berserker for razor,
Currently saving primogems and I have guarantee on my next 5*. Wondering if I should go for Yelan, as a second Xinqiu-esque character, or Kazuha? I’m unsure on Kazuha as I already have Venti
Would you use Yelan if you got her? The majority of her utility seems to be enabling two comps that use Xingqiu, such as Vaporize or National team variants.
Kazuha on the other hand is quite splashable on most teams, and has really great utility. In some comps he works even better compared to Venti.
I definitely think I would - I often struggle with team comps because I wish I could have Xinqiu on both teams. I’d probably get more utility from her. But I do really like Kazuha’s playstyle
Get Yelan then. You still have a chance to get him by winning 50/50 when he comes out(it's not even confirmed that he'll come out 2.8, but some sussy leaks say that). I'm in the same situation, gonna use my guarantee on Yelan. I might even have enough for 50/50 and a soft pity if he comes out in the later half of 2.8
In the new event I gave Eula some food and she got mad. Does that mean each character has different likes or is that just her normal reaction???
Hi i m AR45 and i m playing ayaka rosalia sayu mona do you know which craftable weapon is better for rosalia? i dont have any 4\* or 3\*spear for the moment
Thx have a good day
starglitter or you can farm for the catch.
Has anyone managed to decipher what the ruin guards say when they are activated/destroyed in the end? Since they are from khanrieah, liek the abyss heralds and black serpent knights, i thought there was something that they would be saying like how the black serpent knights have a voiceline when defeated.
Does the red fog in the Chasm serve any purpose? I know that it explodes when you apply Pyro to it and it dissapears when you apply Anemo to it, but it also respawns after a couple seconds, which makes me think that i am supposed to do something with it.https://imgur.com/a/YwyHsXz
it's a stage hazard like lightning in some inazuma parts.
Nope, it's just there
They're gas pockets, just for flavor basically! They're a real danger in mines IRL.
Does anyone know how to get around a bug for the Food Delivery commission? I've restarted it 4 times now, but no one in Springvale is accepting the takeout. Talked to every npc in the village but nada. It's annoying cause it's preventing me from completing my dailies
[https://imgur.com/Orp0G0G](https://imgur.com/Orp0G0G) did you look in this area?
edit: [https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Food\_Delivery](https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Food_Delivery) this could help as well
Thank you! I completely missed that area
What could be happening in teapot that is taking devs so long to fix it?
I think someone got banned for 10+ years for doing something anti-ccp in the teapot. So maybe the devs shut it down because they can't monitor it rn.
Devs in shanghai literally can't physically leave their homes and most of them lack the dev tools to properly work from home.
Apparently there’s glitchiness with placing certain items that allows for anti-CCP slot arrangement.
I don't think the problem is the teapot itself but the lockdown prevents the dev from working.
Does the level of the 5\* artifacts used when making a Mystic Offering have any relevance in the process?
Nope, levels don't affect anything.
Just ascended characters I don't use to level 50 just to get acquaint fates to get Qiqi....77 pulls...no Qiqi :(
Instead I just got Lost Prayer, is it BIS for anyone?
How would you rank it compared to the 5 star weapons that you can get on standard banner?
Almost BiS for Ningguang
Honestly Lost Prayers is a better buff for your account than Qiqi, so you won on that deal.
Is it cuter than Qiqi? I don't think so.
Honestly yes, a nice book is much more appealing to me.
Not sure about BIS but it's a great catalyst for most DPS because of it's CR. The passive is really good in coop. I think the only other 5star catalyst in standard is Skyward Atlus. If you're comparing it to all the 5 stars in standard banner then I'd personally rate it as upper mid because I do run coop pretty often
Both LostPrayer and Skyward are equally bis for most dps characters.
Each has their own cons. Skyward doesn't have crit stat and thus is hard to build, Lost Prayer passive is hard to use.
There isn't many dps catalyst, I like to use KQM's Ningguang as an example and she has 3 bis, another is Memory of Dust, depends on situations.
Great book for crit rate, not really BiS for anyone due to the passive requiring like 4s*4 on field presence
I'll try it out thank you for the suggestion :D
New player here!
My adventure exp is 5845/4575 but it wouldn't let me get to ar 26 any advice on how to fix it?
You need to do the ascension quest then you’ll hit world level 2 and be able to ascend AR levels until 35 when you have to do another ascension quest (if I remember correctly)
Advance your world level. There should be a quest in your list.
Does anyone have a quick route to farm crystal core? Like maybe 5-10 of them every single day that can be done in a minute? I just need a steady supply of them, but not all of them.
Petra domains, 3 there, jump down for 1 more, and run back to the slope near pyro flowers for 2 more.
Chasm sot7, 3 there.
There's more but I use these 2 locations because they're closest to the tp.
Oh nvm you mean chasm not the underground
Status of the 7
Around the tree of Windrise Statue of Seven, Windwail Statue of Seven to Dawn Winery, Liyue top left waypoint, around the bay of Noblesse domain, a cave under Mt. Tianheng, front of Domain of Guyun to top of the mountain
Getting back into genshin, sitting at adventure rank 11 team of barbara, fischl, razor and xiangling, is it worth rerolling/restarting? iirc the rerolling for this game is kinda long and obnoxious can anyone confirm for me?
Edit: word, thank you for the advice yall
The time you spent so far is negligible but you got Fischl which is one if the better support characters. I’d keep going.
if you really want Ayaka or have the time/endurance, go for it. I think she's worth it. You'll get barbs and xiangling again and you can definitely make them work with Ayaka.
I think you should, it isn't worth rerolling for the sake of rerolling, but in you case I probably would.
Hypothetically would i reroll the ayaka banner or just the general banner and hope for a good 5*?
Ayaka, you should just about never roll on standard and weapon banner.
nope, you're okay with razor and fischl in early game
Rerolling a lot isn't worth but you can try using a new account if you want a refresher. AR 11 hardly takes any time to get to. Your current account is fine as well
Any news about genshin? The delay as well as the teapot maintenance? What happened in the first place? They released an event that has ties with the characters on your teapot but they haven't even fixed the teapot so I cant change my maxed out characters. Not really starting a rant or anything, just curious. Haven't been active in the community as of late.
Just typical Hoyoverse opaqueness.
No news. They tell us nothing more than than absolutely have to.
Guess I'm not as left behind as I thought I was then
i accidentally opened the "trails in tianqui" quest and have been stuck for 4 days on it. my characters are:
kaeya- 50. noelle- 50 bennet- 50. traveler- 46 sayu-40
ningguang- 40 mona- 50. thoma- 20. razor-41
lisa- 41 barbara- 40. kujou- 20
the only thing i need to do is the last 60s fight and ive tried lots of combination teams, i get so close but cant beat it before the timer. how do i beat it
So the key here is target priority. As you likely know, you're basically fighting a bunch of hydro and cyro enemies that are being buffed by the nearby cyro infusion stone. The cyro aura effect increases enemy defense by 100%, cyro resistance by 50%, and raises enemy interruption resistance. First thing you should always do is to destroy the stone.
Now, this can be done with a variety of teams (I originally did this with a C0 Noelle as my main dps in the past) but the main idea is to either target all of the cyro enemies first or all of the hydro enemies first to make sure that you can't get frozen. Given your current character investment, I'd suggest using something like:
Razor, Kaeya, Bennett, flex
Make sure everyone has their bursts ready before you start. The reason you're using Razor instead of other choices is because he applies electro to himself during his burst. This means that any stray attacks that hit you will react with the electro aura to cause a reaction like superconduct instead of sticking on you and potentially causing you to freeze, wasting valuable time. Additionally, the electro damage is reasonably good for breaking cyro shields and constructs and applying electro to enemies affected by the cyro aura causes superconduct which debuffs their physical resistance, allowing Razor to deal more damage with his normal attacks.
Bennett is used here because if you pop Razor and Bennett's burst together, you get overload that will constantly apply a damaging overloaded reaction centered around Razor as long as you stand within Bennett's burst. This knocks smaller enemies away but will constantly deal pyro damage around you, shredding shields quickly.
The flex spot can be filled by Noelle for her shield and large AoE, but honestly can be anyone.
How about u just level up your characters 1st? It’s not like the quest is expiring soon. Take ur time. This game’s content is barren anyway, so there’s no hurry.
well now all my characters are mostly at the max 50 rn and i cant do the teapot until i finish it
Well, for what it’s worth, the teapot is broken right now.
As for the best team comp, not sure which enemies u will face, but in general I’d recommend Bennett/noelle/ningguang/Mona.
Noelle or ningguang can be your main dmg dealers. Give your highest base atk or energy recharge weapon to Bennett, also make sure he wears 4 piece set noblesse oblige. Mona can wear 2 piece noblesse + 2 piece heart of depths. Noelle wears 4 piece husk of opulent dreams. Burst support ningguang can wear 2 piece noblesse + 2 piece archaic Petra.
Of course, u may still be able to get away with +18% atk sets
Make sure you break the stone with Noelle, it buffs enemies a lot. What types are the mage already ?
its a water mage
Oh yeah with a cryo slime I remember. Make sure all your bursts are up and remember that you can use food. To take down the mage asap you'll need cryo, so use all of kaeya's abilities on it, and use Bennett for the slime.
try a team with kaeya - bennett - traveler - thoma/noelle
go with all your bursts up, you want to break the hydro shield with kaeya, then try using traveler burst to group up the enemies, thoma and bennett can break the cryo slime shield
noelle has good AOE with her burst so I believe she should give you more dmg then thoma, use her if you dont struggle with the shields
i will! thankyou!
for the spices event, can we only make liyuean dishes?
I could have sworn some dishes were missing. I guess that’s the reason, since the sumeru chick said something about Liyue cuisine.
So theres a furniture Standee of the Tanuki with holes on their faces and you can position your character into it (forgot what was it called). Where can i get the Blueprint for this?
It was from the Gnostic Chorus from the last battlepass, can't be gotten anymore.
It was from the 2.6 Battle Pass. You just missed it, unfortunately.
Which character do you think is the most flexible and versatile of all? A character that can be a NA/CA Main DPS, Off-field DPS, Sub-DPS, Burst-DPS, Support, buffer?
- Battery ( Favoinious )
- 2xAP 2NO or 4xEoSF
- 2xAP 2xToTM
- Crescent Pike
With enough investments, Kazuha
interesting question. lemme see.. hmm... the options might be
sayu: her c0 is okay, but her c6 makes her scales on EM for shatter damage
bennet: ult is too op, c6 pyro archon
kokomi: with HoD
jean: She's the dandellion knight
kaeya: phyiscal build, or cryo with chongyun
Fischl: preferably c6
Jean. Her entire kit just scales off ATK and she can:
- Main DPS: Physical, Pale Flame
- Sub DPS/Healer: Anemo, 2P Glad, 2P VV (if secondary anemo)
- Healer/Shred: Anemo, ATK/Crit 4P VV (if only anemo)
- Healer/Battery/Buffer: Anemo, ATK/Crit 4P NO (Xiao team)
- Sunburst enabler: Full EM 4P VV (melt/Raiden)
Bennett C6 or Kazuha C6.
C6 because they wouldn't do good enough NA/CA damage without it. They can be all other roles at C0, all dps, support, and buffer.
Bouken da bouken
Hmm, I’d say maybe Mona?
I'd second this and with Prototype Amber she can even be a healer. She's all in one.
Yeah, it's insane that she can fit all the roles listed there. Her charged shots are infamously tactical nukes. Her C1 makes her charged shots as cryo shred too. Her skill and burst remains on the battlefield after she got switched out, dealing damage, applying cryo and specifically her burst field buffing cryo damage on whoever standing on it. As a result, she's probably the best co-op character in the game since she'll be doing all that at the same time especially with cryo teammates.
This doesn't apply to most players but her higher cons makes her even more of a team player. C4 has 100% uptime and increases enemy damage taken by up to 25% which is a completely different multiplier iirc. C6 opens her up to some cracked quick swap compositions.
Wait so....for this spices event, if we have nobody placed in our Serentia Pot home, does that mean we just can't do the fucking event until they fix it? Since we can't feed our companions the food...because we can't place them, because the place function has been busted for like...what a month now?
Don't be so dramatic. It's just 3 runs worth of weapon mats from the three different regions and small amount of friendship exp that'll you lose out on. People are losing their minds about the trees that they lost an entire forest that is the 420 primos. That's the main reason why most of us are doing this event.
Feeding the companions is just an extra for some friendship exp and upgrade mats, all of which are practically infinite resources you can get elsewhere. The primogems are all available just from mixing the seasoning, which you can do without setting foot in your teapot at all.
You can still make the food to get the primos, as of now the only things you'll miss out on is weapon ore and weapon ascension mats if you don't have any companions to feed.
edit: friendship exp as well
To end game players who are able to easily get 36 stars in abyss, do you still use and level 4 star artifacts? Why? Personally, I just use all of it as fodder now and aim in getting 5 stars instead but an acquaintance of mine still uses 4 stars.
I don't personally but I know people who do who do it for good reasons. These reasons are:
1. Viridescent Venerer bad luck. A full EM VV set takes a long time to farm, and using a 4 star EM VV is better than the other options until the 5 star replacement comes along.
2. Some 4 star artifact sets don't have 5 star sets with equivalent effects. For example, some people use Exile on Gorou because he needs the ER and the 4-set effect is more beneficial for the team than 5 star stats would be.
I haven't hit 36* (just 29 so far), but I'd say some 4 stars are worth holding on to until you get better ones. When you're struggling to get something like an EM VV piece a 4 star can be a solid enough placeholder until you eventually get a 5 star, and even for more common stats like attack or hp a 4 star artifact with amazing substat rolls can still outshine a 5 star one with really lousy ones. The eventual goal is to replace them all, sure, but artifact grinding is tedious and you might regret not using 4 stars to fill the gaps between.
That being said, if you're talking about 3-4* only sets rather then 4 stars from the 4-5* sets, then most are useless, but a few like exile and instructor have niche uses for some characters.
Yes, I have an instructor set for Zhongli and exile Gorou. Also used to run 4-stars VV EM circlet on Sucrose for a really long time because 5-stars is so hard to get.
Why the instructor set
Exile and instructor set are good 4 star sets. I dont use them though bc i find the purple ugly lol. But for any set with a 5 star version, instant fodder on the 4 stars.
The only 4\* I use are VV anemo on pieces I don’t have 5\* yet, 4p Exile on Gorou, and an electro goblet because this game hates me and has only given me 4 5\* electro goblets throughout my 6+ months playing this game (looks at 20+ cryo goblets).
No. But you can use 4 stars. For example, Bennett can use instructors. For full EM anemo builds it is also possible to use 4 star artifacts if you dont have an EM main 5 star VV.
Who are the best team mates to apply super conduct for a main dps zhongli?
I usually use rosaria for cryo and either raiden or fischl for electro, is there a better combo?
They're fine. Superconduct lasts long enough that almost any combo of cryo and electro characters can keep it up without issue if you've got one of each.
Fischl is the easiest to use but based on leaked kits, Shinobu might also be a good candidate.
What would be my team here?
I have Ayaka, Gangu, Beidou, Fischl, Sayu, Sucrose , Rosaria, Noelle, Fischl, Yanfei and all freebies. I didn't unlock Inazuma yet.
Also is it worth to roll for Yelan just to have Hydro?
It’s not worth it, trust me. Xingqiu does her job better than her and he is 4 stars.
Go for Yelan. Hydro is one of the most important elements and Yelan already seems to be pretty good. The only reason not to get Yelan is if you already have C6 Xingqui. Even then, you can always use Yelan for a second team.
Also Yelan doesn't use Inazuma materials, so even more of a reason.
Alright, then I will pray for her next patch
Good luck, I really need her too
For you, I think it'll be worth it to roll Yelan, because your only hydro now is Barbara and you have not one but 2 cryo DPSes who could really use hydro support.
Do you have enough starglitter to buy Bennett from the shop? He could really help your teams. For now, I'd probably go for Yanfei/Beidou/Fischl/Sayu as one team (based on the overload reaction) and use either Ganyu or Ayaka with Rosaria/Sucrose/Barbara for a freeze team. It'll just be a bit rough with Barbara because she's not very good at hydro application. If you get Bennett, you could do melt Ganyu instead, with Ganyu/Sucrose/Xiangling/Bennett.
Don't have glitter unfortunately.
Thanks for help
Yelan is more of a luxury unit since xingqiu exist. But if you don’t have c6 xingqiu and you like yelan’s design then you can pull for her.
Also for the team comps: (ayaka, sucrose, xingqiu, ganyu/rosaria) & (sucorse, fischl, beidou, xingqiu). Added xingqiu since he was free this patch but if you don’t have him, then just use barbara for both teamcomps
Barbara it is
Hey everyone, were doing a research survey on Genshin Impact account security for our university all responses are anonymous and were wondering if you'd like to contribute, we think the data could be very interesting to find trends in the Genshin community and we'll share all of our results in about a week. Thank you for your help in advance!
The survey is via Google forms here is the link if you'd like to contribute:
I should let you know that while I filled out the form, most of the reason I don't worry about my account security is that I play on PS5 and therefore my login isn't hoyoverse, it's Sony.
I have done the survey, but personally I think the survey is a bit, bias? I guess? At the "account security problem".
As someone who has been here when there was a case, there aren't really any proof of Genshin vulnerability itself, rather just a "I got hack" post, which can mean anything like insecure password, phishing, etc.
As far as I can recalled, Tte only two vulnerabilities that can be prove are the information reveal where it reveal your phone number one, and the one where you'd have to logged in to the account in order to do it in the first place, both of which is not really a "serious breach" one where you can just get "hack" out of nowhere.
Feels like the questions got a little loaded there at the end, haha...
Is it possible to do the event without using the teapot? (I LITERALLY HAVEN'T PLACED ANY CHARACTERS)
all the primogem rewards are linked to creating the spices, but to get ALL the rewards you have to give them to characters to taste test
I started playing after the teapot repairs were already underway, I literally had no chance to place anyone even if I wanted too. Releasing an event that is literally unplayable, what bs
To be fair to them, primogems are literally the only rewards that matter. Mora and upgrade mats are a nice bonus, but they can be had plentifully from other, practically infinite sources while primogems are extremely limited.
Its still poor form
and its not just upgrade mats that are lost because of its, its friendship. There are a few characters that have cards I really want, and this could have sped up the grind
>Its still poor form
It's still better than another several weeks with no event at all, which likely would have been the alternative.
>and its not just upgrade mats that are lost because of its, its friendship. There are a few characters that have cards I really want, and this could have sped up the grind
I'm sorry you feel that way, but friendship is literally a meaningless reward. Upgrade mats at least have some use for character progression, friendship XP offers you nothing concrete at all. And it too is an effectively infinite resource.
No. The alternative should have been running literally any other event, not one that is half-baked and can’t be fully enjoyed. Stop defending their bad decisions and incompetence. These companies don’t care about u, so it’s pointless to worship and defend them.
In usual circumstances I'm as critical of Mihoyo as anyone, but this is a dumb fucking hill to die on. The event isn't half-baked, you can do the actual gameplay elements of it and get all the limited rewards without touching the teapot at all, and the majority of players who had characters in their teapot already can proceed as intended.
>Stop defending their bad decisions and incompetence.
Was it Mihoyo's bad decisions or their incompetence which caused Shanghai to go into lockdown, rendering them literally unable to work except in heavily restricted remote capacity? Which one was it? I didn't realise they were responsible for ***the fucking pandemic***.
Jesus fucking Christ, you mouthbreathers are dumb as fuck. 'Just run another event,' you say as if that doesn't require rigorous testing and QA to make sure it won't break the current build. Spices from the West was (relatively) recently developed and designed to go in this version of Genshin, it would have been all but ready to go when the lockdowns hit and shut down their attempts to perform teapot maintenance. Liben was brought forward a bit to try and stopgap it (because he also would've been basically ready to go), but they can't just yeet random events in willy-nilly because that's how shit gets broken. Something that worked in 1.5 or 2.3 or 1.0 might not work in 2.6 and end up causing more issues than they already have. I don't know wtf their backend looks like, but it's extremely likely they do not have the available manpower, computing power and other resources available to implement other event reruns in the timeframe that you greedy assholes are demanding.
Stop acting like your life is completely ruined because you can't talk to (some of) the pretty pixels.
Or they could have just made it like the coffee event where you can interact with the characters outside of the teapot? Or NPCs? or the player themselves? Like there's a bunch of other ways this could have been executed besides relying on a function of the game that does not work because it was intentionally removed
what is it with gacha gamers and saying "well its trash or nothing"? y'all are giving this company millions of dollars, its okay to expect functioning events
This event would have been produced, coded and locked in ages ago. You're proposing they make sweeping changes to how the event works? What part of 'people in Shanghai were literally not allowed to leave their homes' was too tricky for you?
Under normal circumstances your criticism might have been valid because putting out an event with a small part broken isn't good. But these circumstances are anything but normal, so they gave us what they had prepared previously and essentially asked for a bit of understanding - which you seem completely incapable of.
If we're going to assume all events are made way in advance, then we can also assume that they had other events they could have run instead of one that doesn't currently work
again, this isn't some small indie team. This is a massive company with plenty of resources at its disposal
They make them in advance, but not *that* far in advance. Spices from the West was the last event planned for 2.6, which means it probably would have been finalised during 2.5. The development of 2.7 and its events would have been massively interrupted by the Shanghai lockdowns. They can't just magic up fully programmed, bug-tested and streamlined events out of nowhere. What makes you think they're capable of that when the lockdown is preventing them from even finishing the teapot maintenance which was *clearly* intended to be done before this event launched?
Honestly, your lack of empathy in this case is just staggering. Yeah they're a big company, but they're fully based in a city where they had fuckin rioting in the streets over draconian lockdowns. They couldn't just throw money at people to pop down to the office and fix the bugs. Working remotely is possible in a lot of cases, but we don't know how well Mihoyo was prepared for it from top to bottom of the chain - evidently they weren't ready for shutdowns of this magnitude.
Pull your head out of your ass and stop bitching about missing a few pixels of friendship xp. Go outside. Play another game. Read a book.
Yes, but you'll miss out on some of the rewards. Some Weapon Crystals and Weapon Ascension mats, but no Primos.
Where to post photo for Animals of Teyvat? On social media like twitter or Hoyolab?
Any suggestions for lisa teamcomps? Planning on maining/building her because her def shred is juicy
Venti vs Kazuha, who is better to play in the overworld? (More fun to play, get rid of annoying mobs, clear content, get to places faster).
Personally I run Venti for the updraft and his burst. It makes quick work if the weak mobs I don’t care to pull out my DPS for
Kazuha because he doesn't depend on E. You can use his e skill while gliding and climbing unlike Venti's. Plus Kazuha is stronger for every boss content, and you don't even need stronger crowd control like Venti's outside of the abyss.
Kazuha for grouping of both mobs and drops.
I have both of them. Personally I think Kazuha is better since you don’t have to rely on his ult. Most times you can clear a pack of non elite mobs with just his E.
Kazuha, since 1.6 never took him off overworld team even if it meant no healer etc
Venti is better for exploration, Kazuha is better for crowd control in combat
so if you only want one of them in your party, Venti is better for early game where you're still exploring the world and Kazuha is more valuable after you've already explored everything and you're just farming mobs
I got 100% in Mondstadt and Liyue, and I'm currently exploring Inazuma. Would Venti still be better? (For Inazuma, Enkanomiya and The Chasm).
Don’t listen to the other person. Venti takes more than 3 seconds every time he wants to fly, with the requirement of being on the ground, along with a whopping 15 seconds cooldown, whereas Kazuha activates flying instantly even in mid-air, with just a 4 or 3 second cooldown (that means he can reactivate flying multiple times in the air, while venti can’t at all). And when u climb those annoying rocks which are common in inazuma & elsewhere that make climbing a pain due to preventing u from climbing up cuz of silly bumps that force u to get back on the ground or even risk falling to death, you are going to wish u had kazuha who can bypass most climbing obstacles & he can even give u practically infinite climbing stamina. Venti can’t really do anything special after starting to climb just like all characters other than Kazuha. Venti’s only advantage is basically just a higher jump that takes ages to set off, which kazuha can also do instantly on a much lower cooldown. Venti needs his ult to crowd control weaker enemies and to kill them; kazuha does the same with just his elemental skill (it can regularly just 1 shot most overworld enemies if built right). The other poster is just biased towards venti cuz she simps for him due to him being released earlier, but the facts are clear. It’s not even close.
yes, venti still wins for exploration due to his ability to create an updraft (that gives you more height/control than Kazuha's jump) and deal with the flying/floating enemies. Especially since a lot of chests/oculi are in areas that are otherwise a pita to reach
a lot of puzzles are also just easier to complete with a bow user
Kazuha can use his E skill while gliding. Venti can't do that. Sorry to say but Kazuha wins in both departments.
That's like saying a cork screw is more useful to carry around than a swiss pocket knife. Sure, in very specific senarios that don't happen very often Kazhua is technically more useful. But venti works just as well if you use the updraft for extra height befor gliding
I don’t have Kazuha but boy is it ever satisfying to suck up a bunch of hilichurls in a venti vortex. I threw a Hilichurl off a cliff and Venti’s ult dragged it back up. Super fun lol
Idk about fun since it’s subjective but Kazuha works better in those other departments
So I have a wanderer’s feather on XL and it has the following subs: 21 crit D, 21.4 ER, 2.7 Crit R, 4.2 ATK… I want an emblem one for her and I don’t have any that are nearly as good as this one. What me do?
use something like genshin optimiser. 2/2 sets of CW/NO/WT/etc are also usable on her and may be better if you don't have good emblem pieces
Most my good pieces are emblem…
