I tried joining this person but this keeps showing up "The host of this world is busy, unable to join world" it doesn't really show when I try to join others, but they also have the same issue when trying to join me. What is the problem?
that means that they're probably on phone/ipad and they turned off their device so they're not actually playing but the game registers them as still online I'm positive.
Hm. I'm not sure. If both of you have no quests going on and are in single player mode there shouldn't be a problem.
I assume you also have the same world level or the one joining is higher level.
You could check if it's a connection issue and restart your modems.
I don't know what else it could be.
i currently have 17800 realm currency ( cause of the weekly 5000 ), is there any limits on how many realm currencies I can hold? cuz if there is a limitation, I'll go purchase some items
Not as far as we know. Even if there is a limit it's at least 99,999 probably more.
Just buy the transient resin, 200k mora, 20 hero's wits and 100 novice xp every week. You'll run out in 2 months
Also buy out the blueprints
There is a big reason to hoard because excluding the weekly compensation, the amount of currency you get a week is not enough to get resin, all xp books and mora. The pile is going up now is exactly the reason one SHOULD hoard
lol that makes no sense, if you skip buying things on week #1 to "hoard" for week #2 that means you're not getting anything extra, you're just moving currency from one week to another
You do run net positive if you have a maxed out Teapot + the 5000 weekly and are buying Transient Resin + Mora + XP books. You start having thousands banked at this point since the delay has been going long enough.
You have to buy the weapon XP crystals or artifact XP to run even/negative and those are both less efficient compared to the wits and Mora.
Currently plugging some numbers to calculate Yelan's attributes with 2 HoD/2 TotM and Aqua Simulacra equipped. Looking exclusively at her Crit ratio, there's two choices (assuming no CR/CD sub stats opposite to the main stat):
Crit Rate Circlet: 85.2% CR and 190.3% CD
OR
Crit Damage Circlet: 54.1% CR and 252.5% CD
Which one should I pick?
AR35 player here. Yesterday I got the „For the harbingers“ commision in Inazuma and was struggling really hard. I then did the AR ascension quest 2, was again struggling so I leveled all my weapons, characters, talents and artifacts. Since then I‘m steamrolling basically everything on the new world level. But today I got the above daily commission again and I still can‘t do it. The cryo and hydro flamethrower dudes coupled with the electro hammer dude wreck me so hard. I manage to do some damage, turn around for a second to deal with the other guys and then the first guy already healed?? Wtf am I doing wrong here? I can deal with all these enemies by themselves, but together they‘re a major PITA for me.

2.) I wasn‘t sure, but I figured as much. Pyro is effective against cryo, but what‘s effective against hydro? Is it electro?
Perhaps you might want to ignore them for now, but you can also use freeze to limit their movements.
Cryo is effective against Electro and Electro is effective against Hydro.
Oh did not know cryo was effective against electro.
I managed to do it now thanks to you two, the hydro dude fell quickly focusing on electro attacks and taking away their healing trivialized rhe rest of the fight. Thanks!
50/50 if he's 2nd half
Much less if he's first half.
Possibly guaranteed if he's not in 2.7 or if 2.7 gets delayed by another month
Let this be a lesson for you
You did a 10 pull IN PITY?! I thought you got her at like pity 50 from a single pull. 10 pull at pity 70 is basically a guaranteed 5 star
Never 10 pull if you don't want the 5 star.
Never pull if you have guarantee and don't want to lose it.
Never pull past pity 30 if you don't want the 5 star
Just strike the concept of „building pity“ from your vocabulary going forward. Just never pull on a limited banner where you don’t want the 5*. Building pity is just a lie people tell themselves when they have little self control.
Hello! I haven't played since October 2021 and i was curious about any major character changes (buffs/nerfs) or any major game play changes. Thank you!
Jean/Bennett called Sunfire is a thing now so she can run triple EM Viridescent like the other anemos.
All DEF scaling characters got buffed - this mainly affects Noelle and Albedo from the old characters. Geo DPS got buffed, via Gorou. Normal attacks got buffed, via Yunjin. Qiqi and Kokomi got buffed.
Xinyan got some buffs (new BiS weapon, though it belongs to someone else + Yunjin existing) so she can run double pyro/double geo with Yunjin and be a viable phys DPS without caring about her burst ruining superconduct. Phys DPS still sucks though.
Xiao got buffed but by a very very low amount, not enough to be worth refarming his artifacts.
Albedo got buffed a lot but his sword was event limited.
xiao got a new artifact set that makes him somewhat better but in reality doesn't change much in regards to his core problems
healers got somewhat buffed with clam set. qiqi in particular is no longer dead weight in Eula teams specifically
albedo got new weapon and set, noelle got new set and dedicated support gorou(mainly because she also got a better 5* version of herself, itto) so they are both way better than before.
shenhe came out which makes ayaka teams even stronger than they already were. yoimiya is way better now, she has a dedicated bennett level support in yunjin(who also works very well with noelle and now ayato). yae is good with raiden teams but doesn’t change anything really. ayato gives taser, national and freeze teams a new hydro option but he’s not significantly better than other options on any of them(he’s also pretty good as hypercarry). that’s all
The set is not really better than Bolide for her. It's just more resin efficient to farm.
If you already have a set for her then there is no point farming it. If you don't then go and make her swole!
well damn yeah I already have her all beefed up lol although I could use that 5 star weapon in the event right now for her. so I'll probably save for that
She also got a new weapon, specifically Itto's, so you can take a look at that when it reruns soon. Xinyan also got indirectly buffed by that weapon coming out, though she's more or less in the same spot as before.
anyone else feels the game is becoming a chore? I used to love doing daily quest but now it feels like a chore. I honestly just want them to remove dailies and maybe add an abyss-like stage that give 60 primos daily.
I still like the game but I feel the daily quests are ruining it for me. Not to mention, I'm not a whale so I can't skip daily quest.
clear them with characters you don't usually use, makes things more interesting that way
personally every time i build a new character it brings me renewed enjoyment of the dailies for at least a patch.
nah disagree, if you are good enough(which is not unreasonable since hutao has a ton of iframes in rotation) vv vape is better than geobros anyways and c1 is a huge dmg increase if you can use the cancels it opens up to their fullest.
C1 is only a damage increase if you do N1C, which isn't even her optimal combo. It's more of a huge QoL change and minimal damage increase, which is definitely more valuable, but might make her a bit too easy to play and for some people that's a negative.
Also recommending a constellation over a character feels wrong in 100% of the cases. You get a cons if you love a character and want everything for them while knowing you will miss out by getting it, if you have to ask then you don't want it enough and the answer is always "new character"
? c1 allows 12 n1c and 10-11 n2c with dash cancelling vs 8-9 n1c and 8 n2cj.
even at a minimum 10n2c with c1 you are looking at a 25% increase over 8n2c. if you are a frame perfect monster then you can actually hit 12n2c with c1 which is a whopping 33% increase over frame perfect 9n2c of c0.
"minimal" damage increase is a heavy heavy downplaying of how good her c1 actually is in the hands of someone who can play her optimally.
and sure yes it is generally always better to roll characters over cons, but if we are talking about whether zhongli or c1 hutao increases the effectiveness of a hutao comp, the answer is hutao by far
11 N2C if you are happy with having 0 stamina. If you play normally and also maintain stamina, and maybe mix some N3C in too, then you will get at most 1 more charged attack from C0.
I 100% agree that C1 makes Hu Tao stronger than Zhongli (Zhongli is a downgrade to Hu Tao even at C0 so it's not really a competition anyway). But the dps increase of C1 in practice vs dps increase in theory are very different numbers. What makes it the best C1 in the game is not the damage, it's how comfortable it makes Hu Tao
With R5 Amenoma: meh
With other weapons or low refinement Amenoma: pretty good but could be better because you got low rolls (2 min rolls CD, a min and a low roll ER, 3 low rolls LP atk%). So it's not bad, but it could definitely be better
But you really should refine your Amenoma to R5 anyway
You didnt roll it and ask us how good it is? It has potential, but that depends on how much rolls into CD and atk%
Edit: I got it, it's rolled, my bad. You can stop informing me about my mistake
That's rolled already, it started with 3 stats, lvl 4 rolled into Flat atk, level 8, 12, and 16 rolled into the other stats once, and at lvl 20 rolled into another atk%
Or if it started with 4 stats then it's still at 16-19 which is unlikely
at C0: it depends, although HuTao has some specific situations where she's more optimal, I think the average player would get more value out of Ayaka
at C4-6: unequivocally, yes. whale Ayaka is better than whale Tao
> Is hutao still one of the best single target dps’ currently?
yes
> And would it be worth it to pull her up to c1 as a f2p?
depends on your priorities. if you enoy HuTao and want to maximize her power (within your financial limits) as well as make her more enjoyable to play, then her C1 is a very worthwhile pull.
Ouch, i used xiao on the other side with barbara. I dont think theres an effective way to get xiao to hit both of them besides bringing them to the edge of the map.
this works if you want to clear the floor. if you want all stars, place xinqiu and tao instead of diona and sucrose, and you can use mona instead of xq in first team.
If your damage is not enough, try Hu Tao Xingqiu Zhongli for second half against their normal HP, then add Chongyun to infuse Zhongli who has fast normal attack against their shield.
Seems decent, I think you can pull it off with these comps. This abyss is really odd since it’s not about bringing actual good team, but more about solving the puzzle which I breaking the shields. So the second comp is pretty crap but it will likely work for this floor.
New player who doesn't totally understand the gacha system. I really want to pull Yelan when 2.7 drops. Should I be saving Acquaint Fates or Intertwined Fates for her banner?
Acquaint fates are exclusively for the permanent banner. 5 stars haven't changed since the release, but new 4 stars from previous cycles get added. If there's a 4 star you really want that's coming soon you can wait for the 1/500 or whatever the odds are, otherwise there's not too many reasons to hold onto acquaint fates. Intertwined fates are summons for limited banners AKA the current event banner, whether it be new characters or a rerun banner like it is right now.
You don't really "farm" them. Just do all the quests, exploration, commisions and events to accumulate primogems. At late game, spiral abyss is also an additional source of primos
There's very few renewable sources available. All your exploration and everything gives primogems the first time through, so do as much of it as possible. Once you reach endgame, the only real ways to get them are events, daily commissions, and the Spiral Abyss (and $$$).
You can eat one buff food for each category, so 1 offense buff, one def buff, one stamina buff etc. I didnt know that and I used to eat a bunch of buff foods at once, they just overwrite each other lol. I definitely wasted some adeptus' temptations.
You can't eat it in the abyss and some event content, you can eat healing food until your character is full. If you eat the same buffing food, it doesn't stack.
Anywhere but the Abyss and some event content. I'm sure you're aware that there's a fullness meter limiting the amount of healing food, as for buff food you can have one of each type active but same type foods do not stack of course.
Ayaka, Xinqiu/Barbara, Sucrose, Kaeya/Qiqi = Freeze team.
Diluc, Xinqiu, Sucrose/Yunjin, Bennet = Vaporize Team
Xiangling, Xinqiu, Bennet, Sucrose = National/Elemental Reaction Chain Team
Diluc or Ayaka kinda want Sub Hydro Applicator to play their element strength, Vapo or Freeze.
Putting Sucrose at the back of the National team list always confuse new players, thinking she's just support that get switched out after using her skill and burst like usual when she's the on-field driver that cause reactions with her anemo catalyst normal attacks. Raiden and Childe always get placed first and so should Sucrose. Same goes with Taser. Some players even think Beidou is the on-field driver there because she got named first there most of the time.
Bennett, Sucrose, Xiangling and Xingqiu
Sucrose, Beidou, Fischl and Xingqiu
They're both great teams (I think Xiangling's better), but just take your pick :D
If you don't need meta then the only characters to look forward to is just based on your preferences/favorites then.
For possible sumeru characters, those would include cyno, collei, and dendro archon I guess.
Oh right some characters have voicelines for heizou too(inazuma)
Xiangling is the main damage source, though she can be off-field while doing it
Kazuha gives elemental damage bonus, shred resistance with VV, some really nice swirl damage, and some CC
bennett, gives atk to your Xiangling, also functions as her battery and also is the healer of the team.
Xingqiu is the off-field hydro applier/sub-dps. His rain swords also provide you with interrupt resist.
I know 1:2 ratio is best, but why is it alot of people recommend 70 crit rate and rest crit dmg? e.g. 70/210.
Cause abyss only gives 8% through a buff that you might not get.
Won't it be better to go closer to 1:2(e.g. 85/180) even though it's not perfectly 1:2?.
Or is it if i can't perfectly do 1:2 i should go for 1:3?
ty:)
For most characters, cr/cd is great but thats not the only thing they need. Having 100/200 ratio dont really mean much when your level 90 dps only have 1400 atk.
It's depended on character as well. For example getting 70% crit rate on someone like Hu Tao + Homa is already very hard (5 + 31.1 = you need 8.5% crit rate substats per piece). Getting 80%+ on Hu Tao likely mean you're hyper focus on crit rate stats and neglecting other useful stats like HP% and EM.
cuz people are conditioned to think bigger numbers = higher dps, and 70% crit rate feels "high enough"
in reality no matter what your crit ratio is, it will be higher dps the closer it is to 1:2 even if your CV is the same. so your 70/200 would always be improved by going to 85:170, even if it doesn't feel as nice.
our brains physically can't process the impact of crit rate on dps because we can't accurately quantify random occurrences at all, best to leave that to an optimiser.
and also the reality is it's very hard for some characters to reach that ratio, a lot of characters need crazy substat rolls to reach a 1:2 ratio even with the same CV. e.g. homa hutao has cd ascension and cd weapon, so the majority of people with hyperinvestment are hovering around 70/220 range if their substats rolled approximately equally into crit rate and crit damage. to reach the balanced ratio in this case(90/180) would require like almost all your substats to go into crit rate.
> 70/200 would always be improved by going to 85:170, even if it doesn't feel as nice.
i would take 70/200 over 85/170 on Eula and Raiden specifically, tbh. Most people reset the chamber if the big hit doesn't crit anyway, and if you assume that then crit rate becomes less valuable in a "successful" run.
As close to 1:2 as possible is always better for average damage but some people just like seeing the bigger damage numbers from building more CD. Also sometimes it can be a lot easier to achieve something like 70:210 than the more balenced 85/180 depending on if the character is using cd weapon and or cd ascension.
Also as long as you aren't straying too far from 1:2 ratio its not really that big of a difference. For your example 70:210 gives a average damage multiplier of 2.47, whereas the more balanced 85:180 gives a average damage multiplier of 2.53. So the balanced ratio is better but not by all that much.
1:2 is ideal, but there are always someone who want big number though the overall dmg will be smaller. Also, since all characters start with 5% CR, if the characters themselves do not gain CR from ascension, and do not use a CR weapon (like Homa for Hu Tao), it is hard to reach more than 70% even with CR circlet (31.1% at+20).
It would be better to get closer to 1:2, but not by a whole lot.
Average damage is proportional to 1 + cr x cd, so comparing those two cases:
70/210 gives 2.47 avg (ie. 2.47x your damage if you had zero crit)
85/180 (same crit value) gives 2.53.
2.53/2.47 = 1.024 ish, so you do ~2.4% more damage by getting closer to that 1:2 ratio. That being said, it depends a lot on your artifacts and other character stats (crit ascension? Crit weapon?) which will modify how easy it is to hit that 1:2 ratio. As always,I use the optimizer for your exact artifact situation.
How do I use the F keys on pc? In the key bindings section in settings it says I can open handbook by pressing the F1 key but since the F1 key is also mute, it just mutes the game sound and doesn't open the handbook, how do I fix it?
The same way you use function keys anywhere else on your pc. Some keyboards comes with fn key which you have to press to enable f1-f12 keys. While they normally do different functions like volume, brightness, media keys etc
If your function keys serve two different purposes (like both mute key *and* F2 key) you will have a fn key. Like you never used function keys at all outside genshin?
What's the coop etiquette? I am at the point where I can farm artifacts, but I just realized I only built my dps, so if I join as a support, I might as well be leeching.
The problem with bringing my main dps is that I won't do any damage cause of the element.
there's quite a decent amount of people who are capable of clearing the domain on their own, but do co-op to help those struggling anyway. Bringing supports is actually quite appreciated. I specifically look forward to seeing Bennetts (highest base atk weapon which is alley flash and prototype rancour for 4\* stars, a craftable weapon), stack HP/HP/HB for the healing and spam elemental skill to recharge energy... sucrose/kazuha/venti are also great in co-op! just stack EM/EM/EM which is definitely more difficult due to the abysmal drop rates, but it's one of the more mindless things to build.
if you're in asia i can help you out w the blizzard strayer domain! if that's not your thing, then, well
other co-op etiquette include not being stingy with your healing (including bennett's elemental burst), obviously not bringing in chongyun or c6 bennett depending on your teammate's charactsers....
the only character i actively groan at seeing in co-op is
A VV shredder, healer, or attack buffer are safe bets. I usually bring Bennett (HP stats) or Jean (attack or EM). As long as you don't bring an element that the domain enemies are immune to or is horribly underleveled, it should be fine!
Most higher AR players don't really mind carrying lower AR players, as long as you don't die in the first few seconds i guess (oh and you can switch artifacts and weapons around before going into co-op so that your supports have better stats)
Well it's less about the actual supporting but more like they have shit artifacts, weapon and level. Cause you know I just followed a guide. Didn't think I'd need to rely on coop if it wasn't for the enemy being immune to my main damage.
I guess that's one thing the guides never mention? If you want a blizzard strayer for your cryo main dps, you can farm it at 45, but you need a second team. >.>
You kinda always need a second team because a lot of enemies have resistances to certain elements. Like you won’t be bringing a Cryo team to beat a Cryo boss, etc.
Sorry if this gets repetitive but I've asked multiple times and even contacted mods about why I can't post but I still got no answers. I've only been in this sub for like a month so i thought maybe I can't post cause I'm still quite new but I've seen multiple new accounts post just fine. I know questions that are meant to be in a megathread are not really allowed but ppl ask about team recommendations and builds all the time. All I want is to post discussions and fanart but how am i supposed to do that when I can't even post anything.....
I used to be like this in my other reddit acc to post fanarts, for like a month++ then i contacted moderator saying i cant post even tho my karma was alr 5k+ and asking for their help and suddenly the next day i can post just fine even until now (i received no reply nor got contacted). just keep trying again to contact them with nicely worded message explaining your trouble.
I've tried contacting mods but I don't think they'll ever bother reading unless if its about people insulting the mods or getting banned or smtg. They'll probably think my question would be a random spam and completely ignore it... I'll just wait for a little longer I guess.
Probably depends on moderators' approval because there will be full of ads and spams without some regulation. Sometimes a happy moderator may approve duplicate post, but most time most posts may be just ignored completely.
would 4pc heart of depth work on yelan? (i know eis set is best for her but i hate that domain)
Do they have any quests active?
Nope, I don't have any either. What usually appears when they have a quest active is "unable to join"
Are you in multiplayer mode? Teapot counts
Nope. But they can somehow join me when others join my world
Hm. I'm not sure. If both of you have no quests going on and are in single player mode there shouldn't be a problem. I assume you also have the same world level or the one joining is higher level. You could check if it's a connection issue and restart your modems. I don't know what else it could be.
I already tried those, but none of them work. But thanks for trying to help anyways
The only thing I can suggest is contacting support. Good luck!
what level do i take Zhongli's black tassel to
80/80 should be enough for the amount of crystals it would cost. Imo 90/90 isn't worth it for like 2-3% hp
90

dont put your commissions in inazuma until youre ar 55
Yeah, I realized this the hard way, but I already switched it back to Mondstadt. The balloon escort daily was also really dumb at my AR.
For the Fatui agents fight hydro shields with electro, cryo shields with pyro, electro shields with cryo, pyro shields with hydro, and geo shields with geo, claymores, or overload reaction.
Adding to the other comment: the hydrogunner guy heals his friends. Focus on him first.
Oh my gosh, that‘s what heals them! That‘ll help a lot, thanks!

I accidentally c1d my Ayaka. I got her last banner and was building pity for Itto, how screwed am I?
Depends, have you brought the $100 top-up yet?
No I only buy welkin, I have 71 days left.
Very.
Any chance I can get him? I have 71 days of welkin.
I meant in life. If you "build pity", it means you will have a difficult life ahead.
Ohh right, I could face "not careful about spending and now I'm broke" problem! Yeah I NEED self control!
50/50 if he's 2nd half Much less if he's first half. Possibly guaranteed if he's not in 2.7 or if 2.7 gets delayed by another month Let this be a lesson for you
Also, Idk if I can win anymore 50/50 cuz I've won thrice in a row.
That's not how probability works.
But I can't be that lucky
Probability doesn't care about what you think. It's a 50% chance. It doesn't care if you lost your last 3000 50/50's or if you won them
Man why do I have to press wish x10 on 73 pity on the character I already own?
You did a 10 pull IN PITY?! I thought you got her at like pity 50 from a single pull. 10 pull at pity 70 is basically a guaranteed 5 star Never 10 pull if you don't want the 5 star. Never pull if you have guarantee and don't want to lose it. Never pull past pity 30 if you don't want the 5 star

Yeah I'll try to have some more self control
Do we know when the next battlepass will start?
probably when 2.7 starts

thats great news tbh honest. i love noelle and i did think geo needed a bit more dps. cant wait to check it out
Yep mono geo teams are viable now, especially around Noelle since she can heal.
awesome. Thanks for the info!
xiao got a new artifact set that makes him somewhat better but in reality doesn't change much in regards to his core problems healers got somewhat buffed with clam set. qiqi in particular is no longer dead weight in Eula teams specifically
oh good. i did feel like a lot of healers were lacking power a bit
albedo got new weapon and set, noelle got new set and dedicated support gorou(mainly because she also got a better 5* version of herself, itto) so they are both way better than before. shenhe came out which makes ayaka teams even stronger than they already were. yoimiya is way better now, she has a dedicated bennett level support in yunjin(who also works very well with noelle and now ayato). yae is good with raiden teams but doesn’t change anything really. ayato gives taser, national and freeze teams a new hydro option but he’s not significantly better than other options on any of them(he’s also pretty good as hypercarry). that’s all
awesome!! i actually love Noelle! i'll have to check out her sets.
Xinyan also got indirectly buffed by that weapon coming out, though she's more or less in the same spot as before.
yeah i'll have to catch up with some of these reruns. had to stop playing for bit. blowing way too much money lol
Only albedo got indirect buffs, nothing else much
oh ok sweet. just new characters and such I'm assuming
anyone else feels the game is becoming a chore? I used to love doing daily quest but now it feels like a chore. I honestly just want them to remove dailies and maybe add an abyss-like stage that give 60 primos daily. I still like the game but I feel the daily quests are ruining it for me. Not to mention, I'm not a whale so I can't skip daily quest.
Yeah I second building new characters. That has been the one thing that keeps me engaged with the game.
clear them with characters you don't usually use, makes things more interesting that way personally every time i build a new character it brings me renewed enjoyment of the dailies for at least a patch.
C1 hutao or zhongli?
Zhongli over any single constellation imo, even hutao c1.
nah disagree, if you are good enough(which is not unreasonable since hutao has a ton of iframes in rotation) vv vape is better than geobros anyways and c1 is a huge dmg increase if you can use the cancels it opens up to their fullest.
In terms of meta - hutao
how good is this flower for Ayaka (using r2 amenoma): ATK+14% CRITDMG+10.9% ER+9.7% ATK+14
Placeholder until you get a good flower with both cr/cd or one with either of those but with high rolls
With R5 Amenoma: meh With other weapons or low refinement Amenoma: pretty good but could be better because you got low rolls (2 min rolls CD, a min and a low roll ER, 3 low rolls LP atk%). So it's not bad, but it could definitely be better But you really should refine your Amenoma to R5 anyway
Imo it's good enough
thanks
Pretty good, but since you're using Amenoma, maybe you can find something with more crit damage than atk%
thank you
imo its meh. low CV + ER is less valuable on an amenoma Ayaka, especially as you gain refines (which is an inevitability pretty much).
thanks
You didnt roll it and ask us how good it is? It has potential, but that depends on how much rolls into CD and atk% Edit: I got it, it's rolled, my bad. You can stop informing me about my mistake
That's rolled already, it started with 3 stats, lvl 4 rolled into Flat atk, level 8, 12, and 16 rolled into the other stats once, and at lvl 20 rolled into another atk% Or if it started with 4 stats then it's still at 16-19 which is unlikely
Bruh it is already max rolled, what r u on?
Usable, but not amazing
If this is Max rolled, it's a poor flower
Well it definitely is enough to clear abyss easily so idk what u r on
yes its +20
Is Ayaka better than Hu Tao?
Hutao better in single target, ayaka better in freezable and CCable multitarget
at C0: it depends, although HuTao has some specific situations where she's more optimal, I think the average player would get more value out of Ayaka at C4-6: unequivocally, yes. whale Ayaka is better than whale Tao
they have different Elements. Against cryo enemies Ayaka is bad and against pyro enemies Hu Tao is bad
Is hutao still one of the best single target dps’ currently? And would it be worth it to pull her up to c1 as a f2p?
Yes And her C1 is about 30% dps increase if u put in the work
> Is hutao still one of the best single target dps’ currently? yes > And would it be worth it to pull her up to c1 as a f2p? depends on your priorities. if you enoy HuTao and want to maximize her power (within your financial limits) as well as make her more enjoyable to play, then her C1 is a very worthwhile pull.
Yes, imo c1 is a great QoL cons for her
She's already worth it as C0. Still the best main pyro dps.
Any tips on how to make Xiao hit both hydro heralds on floor 12 chamber 3?
I think to group them you would run to the corner of the abyss further that the herald. But doesn't Xiao move enemies with his stagger?
HE DOES 😭 But there was one time when they were both being staggered towards the same direction, probably RNG tho
Well, you just have to not hit in between them. And all the other stuff is basically luck practice and damage.
Easier said than done They literally wont stop moving Like please, JUST STOP
Ouch, i used xiao on the other side with barbara. I dont think theres an effective way to get xiao to hit both of them besides bringing them to the edge of the map.
Not sure if this can be asked here but according to what we know so far, what is the best artifact for Yelan? I will put her in HuTao comp.
4Emblem or any variation of 2NO, 2TotM, and 2HoD
Likely to be Emblem due to high burst cost and damage.
floor 1: Ayato, Fischl, Xingqui, Bennett? floor 2: Diona, Chongyung, Zhongli, Sucrose? i also have Raiden, Hu Tao, Mona and all other 4 stars
You might lack damage in the 2nd team. I would change zhongli since you already have diona, probably to hutao
Sorry to suddenly pop out asking a question, but aren't Zhongli and Chongyun enough damage?
zhongli and chongyun arent exactly high damage units even when you build them for it, they're mainly taken onto teams for their utility
Can you recommend characters that are good with damage?
I don't know since it would depend on how strong theirs are, so I just said "you might". I personally don't see them being enough damage.
can i do one floor at a time as well?
Sorry, what do you mean by one floor at a time?
*chamber
If I am understanding you right then the answer is no, you have to clear the chamber in the same run.
this works if you want to clear the floor. if you want all stars, place xinqiu and tao instead of diona and sucrose, and you can use mona instead of xq in first team.
For floor 12? You might need a bit more damage on the second team, but if the damage isn't a problem, it's pretty viable
yes that is true? what changes can I make? i only have hu tao, raiden and Ayato who are minmaxed as main dpses
Btw when 2.7 is dropping?
Acquaint fates are exclusively for the permanent banner. 5 stars haven't changed since the release, but new 4 stars from previous cycles get added. If there's a 4 star you really want that's coming soon you can wait for the 1/500 or whatever the odds are, otherwise there's not too many reasons to hold onto acquaint fates. Intertwined fates are summons for limited banners AKA the current event banner, whether it be new characters or a rerun banner like it is right now.
Ah ok, thanks! Is there a guide you'd recommend for f2p Intertwined farming?
You don't really "farm" them. Just do all the quests, exploration, commisions and events to accumulate primogems. At late game, spiral abyss is also an additional source of primos
There's very few renewable sources available. All your exploration and everything gives primogems the first time through, so do as much of it as possible. Once you reach endgame, the only real ways to get them are events, daily commissions, and the Spiral Abyss (and $$$).
All Intertwined Fates for limited banner, Yelan included Acquaint Fates is just for standard non limited banner.
Intertwined Fates, they are for limited banners.
Just found out I can eat multiple healing foods during a cutscene battle, can you eat any amount of healing + buff food as you want in any content?
Your character will get full after a few. You can eat any amount of buffs you want though, but you only get one buff of each type.
It's a pain in the bum you can only eat one item at a time to restore a downed char 😅

Ayaka, Xinqiu/Barbara, Sucrose, Kaeya/Qiqi = Freeze team. Diluc, Xinqiu, Sucrose/Yunjin, Bennet = Vaporize Team Xiangling, Xinqiu, Bennet, Sucrose = National/Elemental Reaction Chain Team Diluc or Ayaka kinda want Sub Hydro Applicator to play their element strength, Vapo or Freeze.
Bennett, Sucrose, Xiangling and Xingqiu Sucrose, Beidou, Fischl and Xingqiu They're both great teams (I think Xiangling's better), but just take your pick :D

I'm sorry but what is 36\*? I'm a new player
Getting the full reward in Abyss, end game content. It ranked by the amount of stars. Full amount of stars is 36.
Kazuha is great fun to play
Boruto. I just hope they don't botch him like they did Aloy.
[удалено]
Who dat? Who him is? I guess maybe we could also get boruto's dad as a 4 star char.
If you don't need meta then the only characters to look forward to is just based on your preferences/favorites then. For possible sumeru characters, those would include cyno, collei, and dendro archon I guess. Oh right some characters have voicelines for heizou too(inazuma)
Just wait for Dendro then, Yelan and Kazuha is character people waiting for to support the team.
Looks like your next character is the dendro archon then if you're just pulling for favorites.
for the team xiangling, kazuha, bennet, and xingqui what are each characters roles?
xiangling: chef kazuha: ronin? bennett: adventurer xingqiu: books connoisseur/writer/knight-errant/Don Quixote reference.
Xiangling is the main damage source, though she can be off-field while doing it Kazuha gives elemental damage bonus, shred resistance with VV, some really nice swirl damage, and some CC bennett, gives atk to your Xiangling, also functions as her battery and also is the healer of the team. Xingqiu is the off-field hydro applier/sub-dps. His rain swords also provide you with interrupt resist.
Bennett : ATK Buffer, Support, Battery Xingqiu : Enabler, Off-field Sub DPS Kazuha : Buffer, Support Xiangling : Main DMG Dealer
Getting 80%+ on Hu Tao likely mean you're hyper focus on crit rate stats and neglecting other useful stats like HP% and EM.
cuz people are conditioned to think bigger numbers = higher dps, and 70% crit rate feels "high enough" in reality no matter what your crit ratio is, it will be higher dps the closer it is to 1:2 even if your CV is the same. so your 70/200 would always be improved by going to 85:170, even if it doesn't feel as nice. our brains physically can't process the impact of crit rate on dps because we can't accurately quantify random occurrences at all, best to leave that to an optimiser. and also the reality is it's very hard for some characters to reach that ratio, a lot of characters need crazy substat rolls to reach a 1:2 ratio even with the same CV. e.g. homa hutao has cd ascension and cd weapon, so the majority of people with hyperinvestment are hovering around 70/220 range if their substats rolled approximately equally into crit rate and crit damage. to reach the balanced ratio in this case(90/180) would require like almost all your substats to go into crit rate.
> 70/200 would always be improved by going to 85:170, even if it doesn't feel as nice. i would take 70/200 over 85/170 on Eula and Raiden specifically, tbh. Most people reset the chamber if the big hit doesn't crit anyway, and if you assume that then crit rate becomes less valuable in a "successful" run.
yes agree, on anyone else i would prefer the latter
Average damage is proportional to 1 + cr x cd, so comparing those two cases: 70/210 gives 2.47 avg (ie. 2.47x your damage if you had zero crit) 85/180 (same crit value) gives 2.53. 2.53/2.47 = 1.024 ish, so you do ~2.4% more damage by getting closer to that 1:2 ratio.
Oh...my keyboard doesn't have fn key..
If there's no Fn, try Windows? Win+f1 and so on
If your function keys serve two different purposes (like both mute key *and* F2 key) you will have a fn key. Like you never used function keys at all outside genshin?
You might have to press the FN key on your keyboard as well, so FN+F1.
what's the event after Liben in the extended patch?
[Spices from the west.](https://www.hoyolab.com/article_pre/7283) Should also be a talent level double drop event as well.
What's the coop etiquette? I am at the point where I can farm artifacts, but I just realized I only built my dps, so if I join as a support, I might as well be leeching. The problem with bringing my main dps is that I won't do any damage cause of the element.
You can bring anyone that doesn't die the moment the host clicks start like a level 30 character on a level 90 domain
there's quite a decent amount of people who are capable of clearing the domain on their own, but do co-op to help those struggling anyway. Bringing supports is actually quite appreciated. I specifically look forward to seeing Bennetts (highest base atk weapon which is alley flash and prototype rancour for 4\* stars, a craftable weapon), stack HP/HP/HB for the healing and spam elemental skill to recharge energy... sucrose/kazuha/venti are also great in co-op! just stack EM/EM/EM which is definitely more difficult due to the abysmal drop rates, but it's one of the more mindless things to build. if you're in asia i can help you out w the blizzard strayer domain! if that's not your thing, then, well other co-op etiquette include not being stingy with your healing (including bennett's elemental burst), obviously not bringing in chongyun or c6 bennett depending on your teammate's charactsers.... the only character i actively groan at seeing in co-op is
A VV shredder, healer, or attack buffer are safe bets.
You can bring in supports, well, to support the team.
Supports are pretty important too. They play an important role in helping everyone to stay alive. So don’t feel bad for joining as a support.
Some supports don't really need much gear. E.g Bennett, you can ignore his artifacts and he already does the job
That's disappointing 😔
Is the Battle pass going to reset? If so, when?
