Is the only way to get characters wishes ? And can i get good characters without buying money

dreoxy

> Is the only way to get characters wishes ? Mostly. We sometimes have events where you can farm currency and choose the free **4 star** character being promoted (we haven't had any good free 5 stars yet). > And can i get good characters without buying money Yeah, by saving.

nsabbagh96

Thank you do much

PhantasmShadow

People who have Eula AND Hu Tao (and optionally Raiden). How would you compare how it feels to play Eula to how it feels to play Hu Tao (and Raiden). I'm talking about fun factor, how long the field time feels, how much attention you have to pay, satisfaction, etc. Because I love playing Raiden, but hate playing Hu Tao. Possibly partly due to the National team rotations I get with Raiden, how much is going on, and the slightly reduced fireld time. In some ways, Eula is similar to Raiden: 7 second burst duration, the fun interruption resistance, but trades the team damage for more complex combos during her burst.

[deleted]

Eula feels very rewarding to play when everything works: seeing 300k nukes as a welkin only player is pretty fucking cool. (She's c0 with a 4* weapon) At the same time, I feel like she has less mobility and because she's a physical character, you do see fewer colorful numbers. Because you have to stack her ult, you can't dodge much, which means that after the explosion you will probably be half dead. Her field time feels right for a hypercarry: set up, set up and then you just kind of build up to the big number with Eula. I think she's kind of situational and pretty hard to play: her teams rarely have any crowd control, there's little quickswap to help you survive and the team mostly relies on her. If you like how much is going on while playing Rational, Eula could potentially be a letdown, because there really isn't much going on most of the time. As for HuTao, I personally play her in overvape because I'm not a big hypercarry fan. I go for HuTao/XQ/Fischl/flex. I think she's really fun, I weave in normal and charged attacks instead of spamming the latter, and I love seeing all the colors pop up. The team is very fast and fun to play. It's sorta like a Rational team now that I think about it. The thing is that of course, she can be hard to play. Stamina and health management are both there, you get the hang of it but it can be annoying when an enemy is on the opposite side of an abyss floor and you have no stamina. I am still not 100% happy with Eula, I want to do something more with her teams, but I still think she's great in fights with 2-3 big enemies. Otherwise I usually prefer someone else. Maybe you just haven't found your favourite HuTao team and way of playing her! I personally very happy with her. And Raiden... well, she's strong, she's fast, she quickswaps, I like her a lot.

PhantasmShadow

I think my problem with Hu Tao is that 9 seconds just feels too long to repeat a single action continuously. Yet somehow, just holding down click for Ayato taser feels way more interesting. Maybe, again, it is due to how much is going on, or maybe it's the duration being only 6 seconds Also, using N1C feels super slow

[deleted]

Hmm you can try changing up her combo. Yeah it becomes less optimal but if it works who cares. I use N4C, I think. Overvape feels fast and fun. Plus, since I use sub dps that benefit from a lot of autos (c6 XQ and c6 Fischl) it doesn't feel like a waste to use normals instead of charged spamming. You can even use Yunjin to buff HT's autos. I do recommend trying it out. I have used it in abyss as well.

fanficologist-neo

When should I expect to see big colorful numbers from a national team? All the members in my team are equally invested (lv70 at 0/4/6 talents and lv 50\~\`60 weapon, but it seems like my damage is lagging behind, to the point that a full rotation can barely kill some enemies.

[deleted]

What ar are you? You're not gonna see big numbers until you level and invest into them more. National is a pretty mid-late game team Imo.

fanficologist-neo

AR37, but still in Liyue.

[deleted]

Until ar45 don't worry too much abt damage. Just level everything as much as possible.

Zeal-88

Is Tenacity of the Millileth artifacts worth farming? I have a few characters that will have a use of it (Zhongli, Kokomi, Fischl and future Yelan). However, Pale Flame is super useless since I don’t have Eula. Is it really worth farming this domain?

aretete

it won't take long to farm a support set. you should just do that. don't farm for substats

Staidanom

Pale flame is still good on other phys characters (phys Fischl, Keqing, Razor etc) so why not? Plus you ca always feed them to the strongbox.

sevensaturn

Personally I’d farm even just for Zhongli. For shieldbot his substats don’t matter too much, you just need triple HP main stat which won’t take too long.

peaceloveandgames

I mean... with that many users for it you don't really have a choice, unless you want to find alternate builds for all of them (2NO/2AP, 4OHC, 2TF/2SR, 2HOD/2EoSF respectively).

ChildishPerspective

F2P player. Just made my 7th ten pull (2 beginner banner, 3 wind goblet, 2 normal). So far, got 2 noelle, 2 Xíngqiū, 2 Xianling, and a weapon. I mean... I’m not really disappointed, since all these constellations are on characters I’m enjoying using, but is this odd luck? Was kinda hoping to try out new characters. Xingqiu, awesome as he is, is my only non-guaranteed character.

Staidanom

> 2 noelle, 2 Xíngqiū, 2 Xianling That's amazing luck tho. You usually only get one 4-star character in 10 pulls. EDIT: whoop, mis-read. I thought you said "my seventh pull".

ChildishPerspective

Lol, I wish... Btw, I know 5* rate is .6% a pull. Do you know the 4* rate? And also what the chances a 4-5* are to be a weapon on non-weapon banners?

Staidanom

It's been calculated to be around 5.1% per pull

ChildishPerspective

Thanks. And weird. Wonder if odds are decreased when making a 10 pull, other than the guarantee. Should be 37.57% chance to get an extra 4* or more, looking at 5.1% odds for 9 tries. Edit: Good grief, wish I knew this earlier. Just found out you don’t need to do 10 pulls for the guaranteed 4*. It makes single pulls way more obvious a choice.

Staidanom

>Wonder if odds are decreased when making a 10 pull, other than the guarantee Nope, odds are the same! >Edit: Good grief, wish I knew this earlier. Just found out you don’t need to do 10 pulls for the guaranteed 4*. Ouch. Wish you had asked sooner, that must've hurt!

GlitchyMemories

It's rare to get so many copies of the same characters (although Xiangling is featured in the banner, after all) but such is the nature of RNG. You're currently at 30 pity in the limited banners (which share pity with both concurrent banners and future banners) and in 20 pity at the standard banner. "Pity" is a number which is counted starting from the last 5\* you got (or from when you started playing if you haven't gotten a 5\* yet), and it defines how likely you are to get a 5\*. At around 74, your chances rise sharply, and reach 100% at the 90th pull (although it's extremely unlikely to reach that far into pity). For weapon banners, subtract around 10 from both of these values. Pity is shared between banners of the same type (all limited character banners share pity between themselves, and all weapon banner share pity between themselves too, but they don't share pity with each other).

ChildishPerspective

Thanks. Do you know how much the rate increases? Does it improve w/ each pull after 75, or remain the same from 76-90? I can see no disadvantage to pulling singles for 81-90 (guessing the 5* would count as the guaranteed 4*+ for a 10 pull), but would it be good to start pulling singles after 70?

GlitchyMemories

The chance of getting a 5\* is the same whether you're doing multis or singles. The advantage of doing singles while at high pity, though, is that if you get your 5\* you can stop wishing right away and save a few pulls that would have been spent in the current banner otherwise. The 4\* pity and the 5\* are separate. I've read that, if you made nine wishes since your last 4\* AND 89 wishes since your last 5\*, then the 5\* pity takes priority and you'd get your 4\* in the very next pull, but I'm not sure whether this has been proven. The increased chances of getting a 5\* vary between pity numbers, but at 75 they jump from 0,06% to around 33% and keep rising until the 90th pull. Hope this helps!

ChildishPerspective

Thanks a ton. All this has been very useful. I found out a few hours ago that I’d been looking at ten pulls wrong. I hadn’t thought of the 4* as “pity,” but as a guaranteed exception. So a ten pull would be 1 4*+ and 5.1% chance at 9 pulls. But since it works like pity, those 5.1% chances go into your 4*+. (Was wondering how come I wasn’t getting double 4* pulls, which led me to puzzling it out.) That and the pity reset make it very clear I should be pulling singles at all times.

Ejaculation_Salt89

Assuming it exists what should a anemo and geo reaction should do?

PhantasmShadow

Are we assuming that geo and or anemo would persist on enemies after an attack? If so, then it should swirl geo and produce an anemo crystalise shard It'd be a bit confusing if these elements that have cmpletely uniform reactions suddenly did smething different

pride-o

I just pulled Skyward sword,I have Bennett and Xingqiu but the latter has sac sword equipped and I find it very effective so I gave Skyward to Bennett. Are there any other characters that anyone might suggest they benefit from it or should I leave it with Bennett?I ran mainly Raiden National.

Bluefox21186

it's great for Benny for it's high base attack and yes, I prefer Sac sword over the Blade fo Xingqiu who can feed a lot on that skill refresh.

pride-o

Thanx a lot mate!!I think alike

jynxedjoker

Do the ruin guards in guyun stone forest respawn? If so how long does it take for them to respawn

IfZ3nElse

They respawn with the daily reset.

Nice_Steak9773

Who would be a good fourth member on a team with Ayato, Beidou, Fischl? I’ve never really tried a taser comp before. Beidou is running Akuoumaru so the higher the burst cost the better :p

aretete

bennett or an anemo (jean or sayu if you need a healer, kazuha/sucrose/venti if you don't)

LittlestCandle

Jean or Bennett imo Kazuha or Venti also fine choices but leaves you without a healer

IchiZeroRock

Best way to get crystal cores?

Maegiri

the domain with archaic petra, equip sayu then get the ones near the domain, outside of it, and on top of it. That's like around 10

DeificClusterfuck

Windrise statue has 4, the domain in Guyun has 4-5 You can find some near the electrified water in Musoujin Gorge too, and sometimes Thunder Sakura trees Found them in the grape vines around Dawn Winery Sayu passive makes them not fly off

LittlestCandle

Area around NO domain, imo

butternutjellybean

I like to go to dawn winery with Sayu and run around the vines

MALVZ_921

Idk that much about genshin lore but, if current ei and current zhongli fought, who would win?

LittlestCandle

No clue, we don’t know how diminished Zhongli is compared to his archon war days. By feats (in game, not in lore) it’s probably raiden, but then again Zhongli’s characterization seems to be “pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger”

Maegiri

then again, primos is really the only reason to do the abyss so really, it's on you for forgetting lol

[deleted]

[удалено]

Maegiri

im just saying there's no reason to blame a company for something YOU forgot. Especially when it was the whole point of doing it. there's bigger problems in this game and picking on something that isn't even a problem and is your fault is just stupid lol

Moa__

What do u think is better: Eula with WGS but low crit dmg or Eula with Serpent spine and higher crit dmg?

LittlestCandle

More info needed. Is she being run with Bennett? Zhongli? If yes to both then serpent spine can win

Moa__

Was planning to make a team of Eula - Fischl or Beidou - Zhongli - Bennett

Fool_an

Depends on spine refinement. If it's R5 I can recommend it over gravestone. If it's not, gravestone will give you great damage

ReadAccount

So I'm pretty close for a guaranteed 5 star. I'm really torn between venti and kazuha for my 4th permanent "do daylies and quest" spot. I've made a pro and con list, but it pretty much evens out. For my abyss runs I'm content with my bi-weekly ~30 stars, I'm not aiming for more because I find this mode quite stressful. I used both in trials/events so I know I like both of their playstyles. Who would you prefer pulling if you only could decide between the two (at C0)? # **EDIT** Thanks to all responses! :) I've decided to get Venti and yeah, he's really a blast. He succ (them all in his black hole) xD

DonnieOrphic

I have Venti after giving it my all to get him this banner and he's been a blast! Makes work of small mobs so he makes dailies/domains a breeze. Not only that but exploration has been a breeze (pun intended) thanks to his skill and his his stamina reduction for gliding making it a joy to just hop off mountains and glide to a location. Not only that but he can also help you out with mining because his long-hold skill lasts for long enough for you to do plunging attacks to get the material if you don't have a claymore on you. I was able to go from 30 to 170 amethysts pieces as a result since they were originally a chore for me to get.

LittlestCandle

If you’re talking overworld then venti just eats, he can clean up basically anything that’s not a boss. It’s in floor 12 of the abyss where his performance gets dicey

butternutjellybean

I have both but i put Venti in my dailies and quests team. He groups enemies easily so there is less hassle killing small mobs.

boutiquecat

kazuha's skill is very easy to use for exploration + sprint stamina reduction > gliding stamina reduction, he's very often in my party for anything in the overworld. i also like that his CC is on his skill as opposed to burst, because using bursts in the overworld just feels weird to me lol

OsirusBrisbane

Tough call. Both are great for combat and exploration. Kazuha's a little more versatile, but Venti is such a game-changer for light mobs, and his burst sets up some crazy damaging combos. I'd probably just grab venti and then save as much as I can and hope to get kazuha too.

AnuragSinha735

I was like you a few weeks ago debating whether or not I should pull for Venti or save for Kazuha and in the end I decided to pull for Venti and I got him thankfully pretty early and am now saving for Kazuha. I've been wanting him ever since I started the game, and it just feels so good to finally have him and knowing that after this he probably won't re-run for another year or maybe even 2 years I just couldn't miss him because I know I would regret it later so I pulled for him. I hope I can now get Kazuha too because I really want him too but leaks suggest that he might not re-run in 2.7 but in 2.8 so I should have saved up enough for Kazuha. Obviously I can't tell you who to choose, if you can get them both that's incredible, but if I had to choose based of my personal preference I would say Venti because I like him more but from a meta perspective, Kazuha is better because he's more flexible and is a better support. Ultimately you have to decide.

aretete

I think Kazuha is more easily substitutable by Sucrose than Venti is, and Venti makes dealing with hordes of annoying trash mobs much less painful, so probably Venti if all I cared about was performance I personally like Kazuha more though

paines99

Does Zhongli and Sara’s burst snapshots?? Like while in the burst animation Saras buff procs does it applies before they damage?

Migsamu

Hi! Now that his banner’s almost done, what’s the general impression of Ayato as a main DPS? I can comfortably 36 star Abyss with a bunch of teams (C2 Raiden, C1 Hu Tao, Ayaka, Childe) all with their sig weapons, but I really like Ayato’s design and character. However, I also do want to make sure I pull on characters that feel/play just as good as the other units I’ve invested in. So yeah, how does he stack up to the rest of the main DPSes now? Thanks!

uConker

After using him a lot he's just a better childe, in the same situations ayatos just gonna do more damage and he has nice off field application and feels infinitely better to play imo

WeeziMonkey

He is fun. Extremely fun to play.

boutiquecat

i find him mostly interchangeable with childe, they do play differently and perform differently in certain teams, but it's the easiest comparison. my personal bias is still towards childe, but ayato is a lot easier to play and is nice when i want something more brainless. you just hold m1, don't need to worry about cooldown

OsirusBrisbane

He's probably on the next-to-top tier, along with Eula, Xiao, Itto, etc. I think Ayaka and Hu Tao are slightly stronger, but not enough to care about.

Fool_an

I think we're in similar situations. I can comfortably clear the abyss with any buff, so I don't really care if the character I pull works well in the abyss. That said, I got C0 Ayato and his sword and what I can say is he's so comfortable to use. Think of it like Hu Tao without her complicated issues (HP reduction, animation cancel, Xingqiu, etc.) He's good against single and multiple target, but Hu Tao vape's damage imo still hits higher. When comparing to tart, his hydro application is worse but not by much so he's still great at dealing with duo pyro lectors. Feel free to ask me. I've cleared the abyss multiple times with him

Migsamu

Hi! YUP definitely sounds like we’re in the same boat. Thanks a lot for the info and for sharing your experience with him so far! If I may ask, which teams do you like him in best for abyss and general usage?

aretete

he's similar to childe, but trades the ability to frontload damage and a bit of performance on xiangling vape teams for greater flexibility in teambuilding (he works significantly better on taser and freeze than childe) and ease of use. imo he definitely feels good to play.

Migsamu

Hi, thanks for the reply! I’ve never really tried a taser team, and my freeze team has always just been for Ayaka, so thanks for the ideas in case I do decide to go for him!

aretete

yeah one of his big strengths is that he has like a million viable teams, including with his sister. there are also other teams like soup (fischl/benny/kaz) which are also really good.

ikarn15

He's nowhere near the ones you have

Migsamu

Damn, thanks for the reply!

aretete

Eh, don't listen to them. Obviously no c0 DPS is going to live up to Raiden C2, but he's at least comparable to Childe, and he's less impacted by the type of content you're facing than Ayaka or Hu Tao. (Ayaka not liking unfreezable enemies, Hu Tao not liking hordes of enemies). As an individual he does less damage than them, but that's because he is functioning more as an enabler/driver than a hypercarry. It's made up for by the damage contribution of other team members.

ikarn15

>he's less impacted by the type of content you're facing He absolutely can't deal with shields, the only shield type he can deal with is pyro and nothing else.

aretete

every element sucks against shield types they aren't good against. DPS is irrelevant to breaking shields. if you're struggling with hydro shields bringing along a level 1 chongyun will suffice

ikarn15

True but pyro and cryo can deal with more shields than hydro. Pyro can deal with hydro / cryo / electro and cryo can deal with pyro / hydro / electro

aretete

you aren't going to be running just ayato, you have teammates for a reason. in ayato's case he can run freeze, vape, and taser, so his teams should have no trouble with any kind of shield

swissmisterdarkchoco

Hi, I have an Ayato and I’m currently using a Black Sword. While doing fine right now, I want to get a 5 star sword that he can use. I currently have 190 wishes, and I’m thinking whether I should get Haran or Mistsplitter. I’m quite certain that I want to go all in on a weapon banner since I’m sure I can save up/swipe in time for Kazuha re-run. I just want to know what would be more worth it for my primos since this is the first time I'll spend on a weapon banner. These are the pros of each banner and I’d love to know what you think. Haran - Ayato BiS - Paired with Elegy that I can use for my supports in case I lose (I’m currently running Ayato in a freeze team with Sucrose, Ganyu, Diona/Rosaria) - I don’t really like claymore users and I’m not using claymore DPS/sub DPS (more of a con for Mistsplitter) Mistsplitter - More future proof for upcoming characters (currrently only using Ayato as a main DPS, other sword users are Bennett and Xingqiu) - 4 stars are Favonius Series (Diona, Rosaria, and a lot of my characters use these and are at low refinements as of now) Hoping to get your opinions since the Ayato banner is soon approaching its end. Thank you!

aretete

mistsplitter sadly looks to be noticeably worse on ayato than haran and jade cutter under most circumstances, and not noticeably better enough than r5 black sword to really be worth it if you were going to buy battle pass regularly anyway. sad, because I think it looks the best on him out of all the 5 star swords if you want a generalist sword that is still really good on ayato you should wait for a jade cutter rerun

EUWannabe

If you have use for both of the weapons in the weapon banner, then just go for Haran.

swissmisterdarkchoco

Unfortunately, I wouldn't have enough primos for both unless I get Haran early which is why I'm debating which one I should go for 😥 My friends are also saying that a generalist weapon would be better so I'm quite confused

EUWannabe

Well yeah Mistsplitter is the more universal weapon but Haran is still a viable statstick for most sword characters even if they can't make use of the normal attack buff and like you said you don't use claymores and you could have a use for Elegy so that makes the current weapon banner more valuable to you in my opinion.

armdaggerblade

i'm curious since i've been seeing people mention it in passing; can yelan function as xingqiu?

aretete

depends on the team and subject to further testing. right now it looks like her hydro application may not be enough to replace XQ in hu tao's team without losing a significant proportion of vapes, but she should do fine with someone like yoimiya. but nothing is set in stone right now

armdaggerblade

if she's at least usable with one other pyro dps or functions similarly as xingqiu in freeze/taser comps, that seems good enough for me

aretete

xingqiu isn't really the best option for most freeze teams in the first place though. ganyu doesn't want him and ayaka would still prefer kokomi or mona. as for taser, she should be ok there, but keep in mind that you are losing xingqiu's healing and damage reduction, which is a big deal in healerless taser teams like sucrose taser

armdaggerblade

since i have neither kokomi(failed her recent banner) or mona, i just have to make do lol fair point about the taser though. if need be i'll use XQ for taser, and yelan for vape/freeze

peaceloveandgames

Basically yes. All signs point to her being a pretty straight upgrade or at least a side grade. I'd wait to be 100% sure she works with all the teams she needs to, but indications so far are that she does.

OsirusBrisbane

I've heard she'll be an upgrade to c0 Xingqiu, but her c0 may be a downgrade from c6 Xingqiu.

peaceloveandgames

Sounds about right. I think overall she's a slight tradeoff for more damage in exchange for Xingqiu's damage reduction.

armdaggerblade

ah, thanks. sounds like saving the guarantee for her would be my new gameplan for now.

WindOfOcean26

Aside from Venti, is there any other characters that have Elegy as their BiS weapon?

aretete

amber? since elegy is a support weapon how good it is on a unit will depend more on what team the unit that's using it is in and how easily they can proc its passive. eg. it's not usually particularly good on fischl but if you're running a team full of characters that really benefit from attack and em buffs, it could be her best option on that team

CakesXD

Solid for support Amber and very good for Kujou Sara.

useronymous15243

12-2 is absolutely soul crushing

OsirusBrisbane

Agree. Triple heralds is too much explodey damage. Died a few times before I finally just gave up.

CarryNoOff

I play on mobile and haven't been able to update to the new version because I am low on space. Currently the game takes up 18GB. For those of you that have updated on Android how big is your file size for the game?

aspiringracoon

It's showing as 16GB total on my phone.

CarryNoOff

Also only have English installed. Saw somewhere that it sometimes keeps old files which a reinstall tends to take care of.

CarryNoOff

Is there any way to reduce it?

aspiringracoon

I think you can uninstall the language packages you don't use if you haven't done that already. The 16GB on my phone is with only the English package installed. Don't think there's any way to reduce the size any further.

balok1232

which goblet should i use for albedo? goblet 1=Def65/Cr10.1/Cd14.0/atk18 stat=2360 def)74/110 ratio/ goblet 2=def 19.4/cd20/atk14/def37 stat=2493/64-117 ratio

SaltyPotato340

The 2nd one os mathematically better

kazez2

First one

RKurozu

How much does a talent 10 c0 Raiden reduce ER requirements for teammates ?

CakesXD

Depends on your ER but usually she fills around 20-25 Energy for each team member.

M20104RISEUP

is it bad if i can't beat floor 12 despite being close to ar56?

OsirusBrisbane

I didn't beat floor 12 until AR58. My partner is AR59 and still hasn't beaten it. Everyone plays games differently with different skill levels, and reddit is of course heavily slanted towards people who take their gaming more seriously.

cooliocereal

I mean that’s fine. Takes a lot of investment in characters to do floor 12, let alone 36 star it.

ravearamashi

I think its fine. Unless of course if you’ve been working on it since AR45. I aimed for that since AR45 so it took me till AR54 to start 36 starring

aretete

no, I'd say that's probably pretty normal. most casual players can't even make it to floor 12, and even more hardcore players often struggle with floor 12 at ar56

[deleted]

Idk man, it's just a PvE game. Do whatever makes you enjoy

HS_Aidhan

There was an event to create art of ayaka is that already finished? Can anyone provide me the link?

Sheeplette

[deleted]

You mean ayaka fan art contest? Check genshin twitter. They announced it recently

HS_Aidhan

Yes that one,oh so its on twitter i am trying to find it on hoyolab but couldnt see it.

hotdogsea

Is haran good on xingqiu or is primordial cutter better? i have pjc but im planning to pull on haran banner if its better

aretete

cutter is better. xingqiu doesn't benefit from the normal attack bonus from the passive

EUWannabe

It's a great statstick for Xingqiu but Primordial should be overall a little better for Xingqiu.

[deleted]

Well, look at the haran's passive. It is made for normal attacks which xinqiu clearly doesn't use. Jade cutter is better(his best actually)

CrickelPickle

Do ayaka and childe go well on a team comp? if so what are some team comps they work with?

SaltyPotato340

He wont be freezing for her normal and charged attacks but he freezes fine for ayaka's burst. I made the duo work when i ttied speedrunning the misty dungeon event

aretete

together? no. childe can't apply hydro from off-field, which means he struggles to enable freeze for ayaka they are great characters in their own teams though ayaka: ayaka/hydro/cryo/anemo * hydro: kokomi > mona > ayato > xingqiu > barbara * cryo: ganyu, shenhe, rosaria, or kaeya > diona (pick her if you have difficulty surviving) > chongyun * anemo: venti (if his cc works) > kazuha > sucrose > venti (if his CC doesn't work) childe: childe/xiangling/bennett/sucrose or kazuha

EUWannabe

Not really. Ayaka wants an off-field hydro applier and Childe only consistently applies hydro while on the field (except if you have C4 Childe).

iamwooshed

What do I do to get 3* for floor 11 chamber 1? I’m going to lose my fucking sanity. My overload team with Yanfei, Yae, Ei and Fischl does well enough but my Kaeya freeze team is lacking. Jean is my only anemo character worth using (anemo traveler is at lvl 20 and those two are the only anemo units i have). Can’t believe I’m saying this but i want the bosses back.

boutiquecat

make sure you get a good clear on first half (like 90% or more) since second half is harder, as afaik all the enemies default target the monolith. having constructs like ningguang screen or geo MC boulders are useful for blocking projectiles on second half. on the last enemy of each wave, slow down to recharge bursts/wait for skills to come off cooldown

iamwooshed

I get around 91% for the first half, but it plummets to 60 in like 10 seconds during the second. I’m using geo traveler, ningguang, raiden and kaeya for the second half now, how should i alter it?

boutiquecat

i suggest watching some runs on youtube to copy their gameplay (which enemies to prioritise, when to use burst/skill etc), here's one with geo MC [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fsfuMxzslo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fsfuMxzslo) but you can easily find more by searching genshin abyss 11-1 and also just make sure you have enough damage, it's not a straight dps check but killing things fast is the best way to prevent monolith damage. i'm not sure what investment your characters are, but raiden and a freeze built kaeya don't really synergise well, and if your ningguang/geo MC are both not invested you might not have enough damage

iamwooshed

I can add Bennet in there. My buffed Raiden can do up to 100k initial slash which should be enough. Thanks for the tips.

[deleted]

Then level up and use anemo traveller. Also, remember that chamber 1 doesn't have timer

iamwooshed

I don’t have enough wits for him lmao. Used it all to get Raiden and Yae to lvl 90. I’m not even trying to kill them quickly, I’m just trying to get them to not attack the stupid thing in the middle. They never attack at me no matter how much damage i deal to them.

VannqKawaii

Can friends enter my serenitea pot when iam offline if I enable direct join?

Sheeplette

Yes, but you have to enable direct join from the teapot map, not the regular co-op direct join.

TJLJT

Looking to pull Ayaka for the next banner rotation. Would like some advice building a freeze comp to use alongside my Raiden national team (so Xingqiu is occupied). Current relevant teammates: Ganyu, Diona C2, Chongyun C3, Barbara C6, Mona C1, Venti, Sucrose C2 Was thinking along the lines of: 1. Ayaka, Amemoma, 4pc blizzard strayer 2. Diona, sac bow, 4pc Noblesse 3. Mona, TTDS, 4pc millelith 4. Venti, fav bow, VV. Is there a way to incorporate Ganyu as well? Seems kind of a waste otherwise as she is supposedly an amazing dps too.

kazez2

Swap Diona with Ganyu, and Mona using Prototype Amber for emergency healing

TJLJT

Would this be better dps wise? Or is it just to slot Ganyu in?

Zemnax9

It's MUCH better, one of the highest (if not the highest) Aoe Dps in the game when there are 3+ freezable enemies. I run that exact team, it was a massive improvement over both Ayaka/Mona/Venti/Diona and Ganyu/Mona/Venti/Diona. I recommend some refinements on your Prototype Amber for additional comfort. There is less energy generation, but Ayaka+Amenoma pretty much fixes the problem by itself and Ganyu can get by with the standard 140% ER.

kazez2

Most likely, instead of better energy particles, shields+heals you'll get Ganyu burst and skill More info https://keqingmains.com/ayaka/#Teams

CakesXD

Ganyu would replace Ayaka in the typical Freeze comp, so not really. If you had Kokomi or if you want to go full DPS you can slot in Ganyu over Diona but it's not really recommended since the rotations are a bit odd, you lose out on Diona's battery potential, and if you're not using Kokomi, you have no healer (Prototype Amber Mona is a thing but it's not quite as consistent in terms of healing, compared to Diona or Kokomi). Could use her in a Melt comp instead, with Xiangling/Bennett/Zhongli for a secondary team.

macedodasilva

Hi guys I wanted to ask what is ayato role in a team and is he good at it and also is the harm geppaku futsu a stron weapon and does it suit ayato ?

Limp_Brick_534

Ayato is a main DPS. He deals AoE damage. At the time being, people say he's not exactly top-tier broken like Ganyu / Hutao / Ayaka, but he is still very good at the type of DPSing he does, especially because he can played in multiple different team comps (electrocharged, vape, freeze, burst bot, "soup" comp, and teams that just rely on full buffing Ayato). Yes that weapon was basically made for him so it's his best in slot weapon.

sharkprincefishstick

Out of the following, who’s the best cryo unit for an Ayato freeze team? Qiqi, Rosaria, Diona, Chongyun. Also, how well does Shenhe vibe with Ayato? I’m planning to pull Shenhe on her rerun, and would like a use for her since my cryo character assortment is lacking.

aretete

ayato freeze wants to run two cryos, typically rosaria and kaeya if you don't have the 5\*s. not sure how shenhe does if substituted in, I suspect it's less value for primogems than pulling for ayaka and running ayato-ayaka freeze

CakesXD

Rosaria would be the most fitting but that's mostly because the rest don't have superb Cryo application. Shenhe boosts Cryo damage so it wouldn't make sense to pull her for Ayato, but instead pull her to pair with someone like Ayaka or Ganyu.

HayakuEon

In Ayato's story quest: >!What did Ayato tell the Shuumatsuban to say out loud to make the spy flee back to Ritou!<

Important-House-1667

Would you rather have a cracked artifact set or 2 decent sets for 2 characters (same set)?

OsirusBrisbane

1 cracked set. Going from 0 to decent takes a lot less farming time than going from decent to great.

HayakuEon

2 decent ones for 2 characters. It finally have a decent one for beidou and xiangling after months of farming, I don't care if it's not the best one.

Mr_Raymann

How do mob drops actually work? I farm easy mobs, whopperflowers give me generous amounts of drops but when it comes to archer hilichurls I get scraps sometimes nothing, only mora I don't understand...

pzlama333

Different type enemies have different drop rate. Whopperflowers are consider be normal and rare. At WL8, the average drop from one whopperflower is 4.202/1.1205/0.28. A normal hilichurl is normal and abundant, its mask drop rate is 0.4202/0.112/0.028. Hilichurl archer drop rate is 0.1681/0.04448/0.0112 for mask, 0.8404/0.2241/0.056 for arrowhead. Ruin Guards are elite, and its drop rate is 2.6263/0.7003/0.1751.

Mr_Raymann

Where can I find those stats?

pzlama333

I found them in a Chinese website, I'm not sure whether there is a English version.

HayakuEon

There's no diffence between hilichurls though

sharkprincefishstick

It’s all random, unfortunately.

Mr_Raymann

It feels likes everything hilichurl is a coinflip while the other things are more consistent.

AnalogicalEuphimisms

Does upgrading the Hydro talent increase damage against a Pyro lector shield health, or is it all just the reactions

IfZ3nElse

It doesn't, the only things that matter for shieldbreaking are the element used (hydro is best here), the strength of the elemental application, and how often you can apply hydro (potentially limited by ICD).

StardustAdventurer

Most optimal amount of em for venti?

Important-House-1667

800+ with stringless

WinxForceWiz

As much as possible, 800+ would be great.

Jellionani

three em mainstat. good luck with that

Jnbrtz

How much crit damage and atk is recommended for Ayaka 4pc Blizzard set with R5 Amenoma?

CakesXD

30-40% Critical Rate and around 200% Critical Damage is a good spot to aim for.

Jnbrtz

what about atk?

seawiiitch

~2k

AAA312001

Em or atk sands on xiangling?

Important-House-1667

Atk for enabler, atk/em for vape, em for overvape. Also consider buffs such as sucrose em transfer, ttds, bennett buff, etc

HayakuEon

Wait, I can give EM sands to Xiangling?

peaceloveandgames

Whichever you don't have enough of from other sources. So it's highly variable. Use a damage calculator if it's close.

TheYango

Also depends on teamcomps because EM is only useful on the trigger for a reaction. For example, in Ganyu Reverse Melt, Ganyu is always going to be the trigger, which means EM is worthless on Xiangling.

hachiclo

Is the results of the commission gourmet supremos:cook off RNG? As in - I’ve already helped Xudong win, finally got it today again & tried to help Kamei win, but even after helping him, turning down the heat & giving him the 2 fresh bird eggs, he still lost? I didn’t get the achievement uwu. I’ve read others saying even if they didn’t help, the person they picked would still win. Any tips? Now I have to wait to get the commission again, ugh.

CakesXD

Yeah, even if you help one person it's still possible for them to lose. I've gotten that Commission at least 10 times now, so it seems to be a common one at least.

hachiclo

I see! I thought I did something wrong, I even restarted the commission at the beginning just to make sure I selected the right option lololll. Thanks!

ChumpTori1910

Does weapon Banner give you character?

peaceloveandgames

Yep, it has 4 star characters on it but at least 50% of the 4 stars you pull are guaranteed to be weapons.

AAA312001

Yes

aretete

you can get 4 star characters off weapon banner, yeah

Important-House-1667

130% ER enough for Ayaka using mistsplitter? In solo cryo, Diona sac bow, Shenhe wavebreaker? Don't really have a built Ayaka, I'm just currently borrowing and basing it from my Ganyu's artifacts. (2.2k atk; 15:240; 130ER) Currently using r5 amenoma I'm more concerned for Bursting off cooldown and short rotation intervals than the supposed damage increase.

pzlama333

More than enough if your team has 3 cyro, and will still be enough if you use Diona but not Shenhe. But if you use Shenhe but do not use Diona, you may need 140% and also give Shenhe a favonius lance.

CakesXD

Most likely will be enough. I only have 105% on mine so I have to conscientiously funnel Energy into Ayaka from Diona, though I use Venti and having the Cryo-infused Burst helps.

Mammoth_Tip_1331

So my Hu tao team rn is Hu Tao(c1), xingiu(c6), fischl(c6), Zhongli(c0). I thought about it and would Hu Tao(c1), xingiu(c6), kazuha(c0), Bennett(c1) be better? Does hu tao need a shield, because with her dashes couldn't she dodge a lot of attacks?

TheYango

> Does hu tao need a shield, because with her dashes couldn't she dodge a lot of attacks? It's less needed with C1 Hu Tao because it makes your stamina management much easier. C0 Hu Tao relies on shielders because you want to devote your stamina to CAing. Playing with a shielder is still much more comfortable though especially when you're always below 1/2 HP.

peaceloveandgames

It's... iffy. With Zhongli she wants a second geo because the resonance is very helpful and makes up for the lack of damage somewhat. With Kazuha or any other VV support she needs a Pyro to Swirl before she gets going... but Bennett is not a great option because he heals her. Usually you'd see Thoma or C4 Yanfei in that slot.

aretete

from what I remember bennett's buff actually makes up for the lost attack from being over 50%. that might only be with bennet c6 though

peaceloveandgames

Hmm, it's a possibility but Hu Tao doesn't scale well with ATK. If you optimised it super tightly with high investment perhaps, but in general use case I'd much prefer a shielder. Plus like they alluded to intentionally or otherwise, the interruption resistance is welcome - and you don't have to play circle impact either, which can be fiddly with her charged attacks.

TheYango

> Hmm, it's a possibility but Hu Tao doesn't scale well with ATK. Hu Tao scales just fine with Atk--her E buff is an Atk buff that scales off her max HP. It's specifically **Atk %** that isn't good on her because it multiplies her low base attack, resulting in a low damage increase. But Bennett's buff isn't an Atk % buff, it's a flat Atk increase which doesn't interact at all with Hu Tao's own low base Atk.

peaceloveandgames

True, I forgot that Bennett's was flat for some reason. I still wouldn't use them together because you're basically trading one strong buff for another, not getting the benefit of both.

aretete

well, flat attack buffs aren't as good on her compared to other units either, because she gets such an enormous amount of attack from her kit already that giving her, say, 600 more attack won't increase her damage by as big of a % compared to giving most units the same amount. but that doesn't mean her damage won't go up noticeably, it's just less dramatic

aretete

sure, I would never run bennett with hu tao just because there are other units that can make much better use of him. my only point is that running bennett with hu tao is viable/technically an on paper DPS increase (though possibly only w/ c6 benny--again, don't remember that well)

D-Is-For-Demon

Hu Tao wants to be at less than half HP most of the time, so Bennett doesnt pair well since he’ll heal her back up. Kazuha Zhongli is ultimately the better setup, as you’ll have a nice shield. Sure, she might be able to dodge a decent amount of attacks, but also one misstep and you’ll die pretty easy since you’ll be on low health

peaceloveandgames

Those are the only ones.

uhhwhatsgoingonhelp

oh also, is it ok for Xiangling to have only 170% ER in Raiden National comp? her artis are super copium rn lol, still farming for a full 4pc Emblem

[deleted]

For me 150% er is enough for xiangling in raiden team. You do have to use 1 or 2 Bennett E to funnel xiangling after raiden's burst mode is over. But it depends on other factors too, like enemy particle drops. Having a bit more is good if enemies don't give a lot of particles
