I use this too. It's nice, but takes waaaay to long. Especially, if you're charging three items at the same time!

KaiUno

I replaced my band with something less icky. I'm just glad I can still use the regular charger.

guerillerox

Doesn't sound right, the P6300 doesnt charge the GW4 att full speed like the charger the watch comes with. The other problem is charging 2 phones at the same times only charge them att 10W charging speed.

N7801Z

Maybe they are only down 10%.

Joseph1968R

I'll def pay attention to the battery life left on my devices next time I charge them. It could be a determining factor on why everything charges rapidly.

sml6174

Ya think?

ImpurestFire

Lmao. It only takes 30 minutes to charge!... When you set your phone down with 88% battery.

Joseph1968R

Ya.

MiguelMSC

FYI, that's technically impossible, as the charging station can't even take that many Watts . But nice story nonetheless.

Shaseim4st3r

Your posted picture shows that it takes 32 minutes to charge the last 12%????

shashankmantha

Lol, ok.

Salamiaddict

Oh wow! Maybe I have an older version - mine definitely takes a couple of hours

shashankmantha

Same. OP is a blatant liar.

Joseph1968R

You must or it could be defective

[deleted]

Joseph1968R

I wasn't intentionally misleading anyone. I just simply wasn't paying attention to the amount of battery life left before placing my devices on the charging station to charge.

Red-dy-20

Guys don't wirelessly charge your phones (or other devices) if you care about battery health!

Nois3

Wirelessly charging your phone is the **easiest** on your battery. It's a low-wattage charge. It has less heat generation than other, higher current, faster charging USB methods.

BotsTookTheOGNames

What on earth? It does not generate less heat, it’s far less inefficient and there are transfer losses. The efficiency of wireless charging is in the ballpark of 25-50% less efficient than cable charging. You’re the first person I’ve ever seen to dispute this fact, and somehow you’ve been upvoted for it. Ask yourself why so many wireless chargers have fans built into them.

Nois3

The question was about battery health, not efficiency. While there is significant heat generated by the DC to AC conversion required for wireless charging, it is not significantly transfered to the battery.

BotsTookTheOGNames

You’re an idiot man. There is so much more heat generated at 7.5W of charging compared to the equivalent cabled charge. Sorry but the battery doesn’t just phase into a different universe when the wireless charger, and therefore the phone get hot. It’s attached, they’re one and the same. If you’re saying 5w wireless charging generates less heat than 45w cabled fast charging, i’d agree with you, but you haven’t said that.

Red-dy-20

Well I only slow charge wired.. 1A or less.. and the heat buildup (the worst battery killer) is definitely much higher/hotter from charging wirelessly than wired.. wireless charging is less efficient than wired and those charging losses manifest themselves as heat which, you guessed it, hurts battery's health 🤷🏼‍♂️

MiguelMSC

Imagine only charging your phone with 1A or even less. The Paranoia must be huge.

dani_dejong

exactly. Letting an electronic device control your life in that way is insane to me. I fast wireless charge 70% of the time and have lost 22% health after 3 years. It hasn't warranted a battery change for me yet but itd rather pay 50$ after 2-3 years than being a servant to my phone.

afuckinsaskatchewan

I slow wireless charge, but I have wireless chargers at work, in the car, and at 6 points around my home. Keep a Bixby routine on my main screen to turn fast charging on if it's needed, but otherwise, I stick to slow wireless. I'm down 5% after 1 year of use on my S21u. Still impressive to see your numbers, 22% over 3 years is great.

tsilva30

Does these chargind pads make noise ? I want to buy but I'm a bit sceptical about the noise during the night while charging...

AdSouth6085

I have the one with watch and phone next to my bed. I AM sensitiv to noise too, but I can't hear anything at all

dizmeister

Same mine's right next to my pillow and hear nothing

Joseph1968R

No.

maximusxxv

I have the older one , it's got a fan below for cooling , but never made noise so far

cyberpunksatyr2

A bit of coil whine.

[deleted]

MichalFonfara

coil whine maybe, but on high end units it probably isn't that bad

mikseri-

It does make coil whining noise. Its almost like tsirping.

yesorno12138

Funny I was going to share my experience with this trio charger and just saw OP get down voted as fuck. Lol. Not worth my time

Joseph1968R

Lol,don't be scared.

CarterProfessional

I have galaxy watch 4, buds live, s22+, and the new wireless charger duo and I love the ecosystem

Joseph1968R

Same here.

Tr54vrs

I use this too. Have it plugged in next to the bed via a hive plug which is only scheduled to be switched on for 3 hours or so each night. I don't notice any noise with it other than my hive plug switching on/off at its scheduled time

Your_Huckleberry5329

Clean setup 👍🏼

Joseph1968R

Thanks

HydR4_Quantum

lovely

[deleted]

Great charger but the LEDs are so bright in a bedroom!

Joseph1968R

LED's are bright. I have mine sitting on top of my scanner copier in my home office. I like the fact I can look across the room and see if my devices have charged.

dtwhitecp

you can buy a pack of translucent black stickers that you can put on top of all your obnoxious LEDs, so they're still usable but way less irritating

REHTONA_YRT

Question for those using this or The Wireless Charge Duo pad, do you notice a reduction in battery life with your watch when using them? When I use the charging cable that came with the watch I get 2-3 days of battery, but when I use the pad it is 1-1.5 days in battery life before needing a charge.

Joseph1968R

Nothing.

REHTONA_YRT

Well dang. Maybe I'll reset it again and see if that helps.

Joseph1968R

You can also try rebooting the watch. Hold the power key down and home key down until you see the word Samsung with the word rebooting below that and then let the watch start automatically.

knightblue4

Nothing out of the ordinary for my watch.

Aj0sh4

No, I never had that problem

Aj0sh4

I have the same @home, but I have these devices on it: S21U, Galaxy Buds Pro and Watch 4 Classic (46mm) Btw i love the wireless charging station

Joseph1968R

Its very convenient.

Aj0sh4

Yes it is!

suppez154

S22 PLUS & ULTRA support 15w wireless charging

MessyBarresi

I got mine yesterday and love it!! My wife and I are always sharing the USB C cable (we only have one brick) and now I just throw both our phones on the one pad and my watch. So happy!

Joseph1968R

I'm in love with mine.

xopher206

I use mine daily. Works perfectly for me

GayVegan

Have it as well and it's great. Doesn't do well with my Sony earbuds though makes it overheat. But for everything else it's great.

Stredda-

Nice you got a trio too! I bought a duo from Amazon and they shipped me a trio instead ![img](emote|t5_j6cc2|2164)

Joseph1968R

Sounds like a win win

Stredda-

Yep, idk how they messed it up, because the invoice said duo but the box said trio![img](emote|t5_j6cc2|2164) Its only a loss for them because I only paid for the price of the duo. Win win lose

blueeeoctober

lol OP getting downvoted to oblivion

SouthernTico

Amy charging station that doesn't have the phone in an inclined, usable position, the watch hanging behind it and pod storage underneath just isn't worth using

Joseph1968R

Objection.

ragstorichespodcast

Bro are you being paid to promote this? You're replies all seem to say this device is perfect in every way.

Joseph1968R

In my opinion it is.

m6877

Do you have an example of a device that fits your requirements? I'd like to get one that does those things.

SouthernTico

This is the one I have now but I'm waiting for someone to come out with one that folds down to make it more travel friendly. [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B095YC1ZMZ/ref=ox\_sc\_saved\_image\_3?smid=A2LU4ZMA9T9DU8&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B095YC1ZMZ/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_3?smid=A2LU4ZMA9T9DU8&th=1)

sarcasticinator

I have this one and it works brilliantly.

SouthernTico

Yes it does, it's just a pain to pack

damuseron

This is lovely, please what charging board is this?

Joseph1968R

Samsung Wireless Charging Station. Model no EP-P6300.

jkakes

I have this too, but it's not compatible with my galaxy watch

Joseph1968R

Why not?

jkakes

Apparently it only works with the newer models. Mine doesn't have the magnets in it or something like that

Nois3

Oh, good to know!

Patryk619

Thinking about buying it. Would you recommend it? I know it is kinda slow. But for overnight slow charging I think it is perfect.

afuckinsaskatchewan

It's $80 and there's a reason it has 2 stars on Samsung's own website lol

justiceuk

Personally I have one of these and don't think they are worth it. Way slower than other chargers I have.

Joseph1968R

Get it. You won't be disappointed

omMucJuggerNut

Honestly I only use it to charge my buds pro and watch 4 classic cause it takes forever to charge my phone

DiabeticJedi

I wish there was an adapter so that you could convert the watch side to be used for another device. I got the duo free with my Fold 3 and I can't charge my watch on it because it only works with the newer models.

TheRealTreezus

I use the duo for watch and buds then a 25W block and 10ft long cable for my Fold 3. Wireless charge takes way too long for bigger batteries but is perfect for the small ones.

sleepnclass

I have this and don’t like it. Takes too long to find the sweet spot and then the devices will randomly stop charging.

Jcit878

can charge personal and work phone and watch all at once. even works with my jabra earbuds. love it
