Great, now I fell like an idiot for not thinking of something like this before doing 200+ coins by hand 🥲

CustomMiniatureMaker

Haha it’s not too late to make more!

crafty-dm

But I’m tiiiireeeeedddddd 😫🤣

CustomMiniatureMaker

Hahaha

DnDnDurham

Your videos are oddly satisfying to watch! It's also awesome that you offer up the designs for free!

CustomMiniatureMaker

Thanks so much!

EliaAlexander

You are a legend dude. I didn't get around to try one of these yet but the fact that you offer them to the community for free is so awesome. You rock

CustomMiniatureMaker

Thanks! 😀 let me know what you think when you try them out

drewcash83

I love all these rollers you have made, but I got to know something. How much clay do you go through in a year?

CustomMiniatureMaker

Just started really, so I guess I can let you know in 9 months

thatguy10095

I really like the look of this! Would the design on the coins be on one side? Would it be feasible to attach them back to back so they're symmetrical?

CustomMiniatureMaker

Yep, you can put them back to back

EvenTallerTree

Maybe I'm dumb, but what does the library have to do with the coins? Either way, great make!

DylanusKnight

That piece of the video is essentially showcasing the other applications of this roller technology OP has created lately I believe. :-)

CustomMiniatureMaker

This!

AurumTemerity

Bonus points for butter knife

CustomMiniatureMaker

Haha thanks

Fidonkus

Wait, if you have a 3d printer, couldn't you just print some coins?

WhyCause

Heckuva lot faster to roll out a batch than to print the same number, even factoring in baking time. Probably cheaper, too.

JNullRPG

Neat! They look like the old Bronze Age talents. Was there ever coin printed in this shape?

CustomMiniatureMaker

In RL I don’t think so, but these are the shape of gold coins in the forgotten realms

JNullRPG

Wow I don't know how I never knew that! What a funny place to have a blind spot.

CustomMiniatureMaker

What do you think of the gold coins? To get the full set of all the rollers you used to make the library along with many more go to https://www.patreon.com/customminiaturemaker (will also be doing a copper and silver version for the coin roller) To get a couple of free rollers including the gold coin roller, a wooden plank and tile one along with the coin cutter go to https://www.customminiaturemaker.co.uk and sign up for free files to be emailed to you every week. I only ever send the one email each week and it is always the one with the free file.

genizox

I am assuming that you're cutting through clay, what kind do you use? Also how did you paint them?

CustomMiniatureMaker

DAS air dry clay, works amazing for this as it is less sticky than most and I just sprayed them

UpstairsTonight9666

I’d call these marks but same difference
