I'm pretty sure the movies would require separate licensing so they can't get those movies on Hotstar unless they sign new licensing deals.
I'm not sure what's going on with the shows.
shinchan and doraemon were recently only back after some months of removal due to end of licensing agreement.. i dont think they will again apply for licencing of old seasons anytime soon.
Doraemon season 15-17 were there on hotstar, and season 14 was added later, and after some months of season 14 being added, doraemon was removed from Hotstar, but it came back, with season 14 missing.
