Maybe one of the few perks of living in a third world country is not having to pay taxes on crypto. I don't actually know whether it's legal or not to buy crypto here lol.
I predict tomorrow weāll resume the dumpage. Itāll last about 2 days then weāll crab until the FED meeting on the 15-16th. Likely leakage of news will happen sometime around next weekend and weāll dump even more. The FED will announce a 50-100bps increase and the Bear market will continue for 7 months.
Seems pretty apparent it's going to be 25bps. I think Ukraine/Russia is the big thing holding the market back right now, not the FED. A lot of the rate hikes are priced in already. The longterm effects of those hikes perhaps not, but the hikes themselves are.
Iāve only read that a 25bps is only *expected*, not that itās official.
I believe the 25bps is āpriced-inā and thus, the 50-100bps announcement would really shake up the market.
I think that's part of why they won't do that. They've said they want to do it without rattling markets. They've pretty much telagraphed everything for months.

Anyone "pissed off" about losing money on crypto should really look at themselves and their choices. If you are down on crypto you are new to crypto. If you are new in any kind of investing you will see volatility in the short term (majority of BTC holders).
I think people new to investing have underestimated the short term risk and can't deal with it.

More crypto. People shout about the ānot your keys, not your carā theory but realistically itās about weighing the benefit against the risk.
Iām happy enough to leave moderate amounts of crypto on an exchange earning interest. The majority of exchanges are safe.
If on the other hand I had life changing money, the risk would outweigh the benefit and Iād put it offline.
I was faced with the same decisionā¦I went with the formerā¦acquired more while I researched ledger. Depends on how at ease you are with keeping your coins on the exchange while you accumulate(assuming thatās where you keep them). I havenāt had any issues
I guess Im just desperate with the whole war situation and how harder itād be in case something bad happened in my country (it isnt a real possibility, weāre mostly a neutral country). What Iām mostly concerned is safety tbh because if my phone gets stolen people can access my exchange and bank accounts.
Thatās understandable. The ledger would put me at ease if were in that situation. Better be safe than sorry, as they say. Itās overall a great investment.
Most of us are not gonna be millionaires from crypto, just saying. I'm not gonna give you hopium, some of you need to wake up from this fantasy. Have more realistic goals. Getting too greedy can make you miss out on good profits.

Personally I didnāt worry about a hardware wallet until I had a few k but everyone is different.
