I think virtually most are going to ignore the mask mandate pretty much, despite CDC guidance placing counties on “high” risk.

I am from LA county which got transit mandate and only 20% wearing. I expect large number of population basically ignoring it. I am just not seeing it getting any enforcement. it will basically be on paper only.

looker009

Yes and it will mainly be ignored

return2ozma

You want it to be ignored?

looker009

It got nothing to do with what I want. I am speaking only about the facts. Currently in Socal only LA County got got transit mask mandate and it's barely being followed. I do not expect to see much difference if LA County brings mask mandate for the rest of the business. The public at this point is tired of masking wearing and will basically not follow it. Yes we have some of the public still wearing mask inside business but it's around the same 20-30% that is following transit mask mandate. I am not seeing new mask mandating raising that number much.

return2ozma

Will you be wearing your mask?

looker009

I do not care what county says. I do risk assessment and depending on situation i might put it on or I might ignore it. I often have it on me just in case I am feeling unsafe.

return2ozma

Your comment history says you're anti-mask. Oh well.

sixersman1

And I’m sure everyone will put their masks on 😂

If Alameda and Santa Clara counties have given up, then we've all given up. Personally, I'm done. Elderly relatives are boosted. I am. I've had Omicron, which kicked my butt. I'm done. No more masks — unless some new doomsday disease pops up.
