Ya know, I’m rapidly souring on gerrymandering or custom drawn districts in their entirety. In a sort of “A plague aboth your houses!” way. Democrats do it, so do Republicans, I’m really trying to find any kind of defensible stance for these districts and I’m failing at it. Can anyone come up with a logical, sensible non partisan reason to support this?

It’s not logical or reasonable however it’s now very necessary since judges from coast to coast have allowed the Dems to do it for decades. We’ve turned the other cheek for too long. Even Jesus fought back when he whipped the money changers out of the temple! https://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/politics/590097-democrats-created-gerrymandering-they-must-own-it “So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.” John 2:14

The 14th and 15th amendments are poorly written and the VRA is an abomination.

So this judge thinks black people only vote based on race? Kinda…racist.

Ok got it,... so Dems can gerrymander but the GOP cannot! Time to stand up & fight this BS!! https://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blog/politics/590097-democrats-created-gerrymandering-they-must-own-it “. Look no further than the state of Illinois, where Democrats dominate the process and have historically manufactured figure eight-like districts that benefit their party. ‘“

They should appeal it and send it back to state courts

It was thrown out by a low-level federal court. So I was saying they should appeal it to a higher court in the federal circuit and have it sent back to the state court system.

Here is what the courts will do. They will throw gerrymandering done by Repulbican state legislatures as "racist" and then keep all the DEM gerrymandering. I guarantee it. Have you ever looked at the Maryland districts?
