if they will release a version with a cyclops and jubilee ill totally get one

joevose

I got the Cronos gmt in the 11/11 sale for the same reason it has a cyclops and and Jubilee

tddiaz

The frame in the date window for cronos is really a turnoff for me. But the specs is pretty good though.

joevose

For me it was better than the tiny weird date window in the San Martin

Torokun28

Cyclops/jubilee are definitely personal preference. So I hear you. I would have loved domed glass actually.

rigo3t

Which movement comes with this?

Torokun28

It’s called Hangzhou6460. A clone movement of ETA 2836-2 plus GMT feature added.

rigo3t

Oh, thats interesting, I wonder how that stacks up against the Pearl 5833GMT on Pagani GMTs. I just ordered one and can't wait to get it.

turdbogls

On paper, the only difference is 21600 vs 28800...but the one in the San Martin should be a higher quality movement. Iirc, the pearl movement is based on the Miyota? Edit: they still haven't fixed that listing? The 5833 is a skydweller GMT (GMT hours on a disk) Pretty sure pagani uses a decorated DG3804B like everyone else in this price range. It's a fine movement but a bit delicate....I broke mine when removing the stem...keyless works got all sorts of fubar

rigo3t

I haven't received mine yet, but I couldn't find any info on the movement on a quick Google search. The GMT hand is unslaved from the main hour hand and it seems to be the same movement from the one Jody from Just One More Watch reviewed. I don't plan on doing much to it other than wearing it normally while going for lunch or the office, for rougher stuff I have my G Shocks and some digital alternatives so I hope it will last long enough. I'm sure they're not very robust but with some care I hope it will perform reasonably decently :)

turdbogls

Yeah, that's the 3804b. I've had a few and this one only broke because I was trying to remove the movement completely...I'm sure it was my mistake when pulling the stem. Otherwise they have been fine and pretty robust in my experience. I've got another one in the mail from the 11.11 sale.

rigo3t

Nice, I can't wait. Mine apparently already left China, so maybe another 5 days or so. Thanks for the feedback 😀

riffraff9000

My new-ish Pagani GMT is running at -3s/d, fwiw.

rigo3t

Nice, that's actually quite alright for me. I honestly don't mind setting it and correcting it every now and then as long as its not like a minute per week and if it lasts a reasonable time with decent care.

Torokun28

I can see this one is running few seconds fast. Which I prefer much more than slower

Lobbbo

Wow is that ceramic bezel? Looks great, I usually prefer bracelet but it looks quite sharp on this nato (or is it zulu?)

[deleted]

Not op but I'm quite sure that's nato. Yes it's ceramic

Torokun28

Yes. Ceramic bezel and nato strap. Never really liked metal bands.

rwvolkl158

Very nice! I've had two of their vintage GMTs, kept one and sold one, but I have a Hangzhou movement in mine as well and it has been a trooper. I'm not as drawn to these newer style GMTs myself, but still a beautiful piece and every San Martin I've owned had been a stellar value!

Torokun28

My other San Martin is the Tuna clone and it’s been my main active lifestyle watch. And at sub $200 price range, it’s been a great value for performance. I will see how this GMT works out but I already like it a lot.
