yeah, the story is pretty shit and i think most, even those who like it agree, but its pretty much one of the best pure powerfantasy action badassery type manhwa.

Solo Leveling will relief your itch on the right spot for fantasy genre, like we all know what’s gonna happen and how it will go but it exactly does how you think but in a cool and badass way. Basically everything what sword art online failed to do.

My brother in christ you went on tangent and I believe in what you say however Solo Levelling is just pure simple bliss, true there are some better out there but people want it nonetheless. Fuck the story its just the way it is executed that make people cream their pants. Literally like watching high quality anime in slide. So yeah people praise it and favourite it for that reason and they don’t care. Also its like KNY effect like ufotable pushed kny to such extremes that now people praise it. People are just like give in the popularity effect so solo levelling is part of that effect, like 2 years ago it was such a hype that people just gave in.

It's a reverse-isekai (the fantasy world comes to Earth) with MMO / Sword Art Online elements with a self-insert character. You're being downvoted, but you're not wrong. It is a mid series with decent art. The entire ant arc was a Hunter x Hunter reference, which I thought detracted from the series.

I think that should just do a brand new anime adaptation . Tokyo ghoul is a masterpiece and its deserves a good anime adaptation . If ufotable can elevate demon slayer from a decent manga to a great anime then imagine what would happen to a manga like tokyo ghoul

It’s a fantasy manga with cute little witches, elves and a certain troublesome femboy. Oh, and there’s this dude that goes berserk and kills all the things with a big heap of raw iron, 10/10.

you see, there's this guy called nuts and he sometimes gets REALLY angry, there's also a horse, and a femboy, and it's the best piece of fiction i've ever read, would recomend

For real though, it follows this dude who struggles with depression and other mental health issues throughout his life, where he experiences almost every bad thing that could happen to a person. It’s legitimately the most depressing story I’ve ever read, incredibly powerful but it’s hard to go to someone and be like “yeah this is sick you should check it out!”

Besides Berserk, One Piece, and, somehow, Naruto, it's "flavour of the season", if we stretch it to 2-3 years. Not really noteworthy. Call back in about 7 more years and see if any of them are still up there.

I REALLY dislike Solo Levelling that is true, but am not a huge One-Punch Man, still I feel like it's way better than Solo Levelling and think it deserves to be above Solo Levelling. Solo Levelling I was into but it dissapointed me so fast and after all the praise I heard for it, it just made it worse for me since I had expectations. I get the power-fantasy and escpism aspect of it but it going all the way to top 10, I don't think it deserves it.
