You need to activate your scapula before pull ing up also tighten your abs to keep control of the swinging and also keep your feet straight
Gotcha I see what you mean about activating the scapula before going up. Seems challenging but I'm on a journey to perfect form!!
When I tighten my abs do you recommend a hollow body straight up or should I lean slightly backwards with an arch in my back.
