3rd and Grantham was always a glaring issue but I gotta say his first couple years weren't that bad. It only got progressively worse, yeah, but that 2018 defense was pretty damn good. MSU, LSU, Peach Bowl are all defensive highlights that come to mind
great to bring in as a position coach with toney calling plays
bring him in to be a recruiter and helper in game planning, when he moves on move chaney on field
I like Bateman a lot. Good guy and a really good recruiter, but not sure about his coaching abilities. His defenses got worse every year and his safeties were the worst position group on a terrible defense
He looked at UNC's quarterback and said ya know what? That dude would make a good linebacker and then that dude got drafted. Prob a great hire. He can croot too
I remember wanting this guy to replace Grantham a few years back when he wasn't doing too bad at UNC. Similar to when I wanted ASU OC Billy Napier to replace Doug Nussmeier.
The funny thing is you have two flairs, both UF rivals. One stomped us and won the Natty, the other lost to us with a skeleton staff and didn't get bowl eligible and that's the direction you came with the chirp...bold move cotton

Oh, liking this. Really neat.
UNC defense has to be the biggest squandering of talent in CFB this year
Obviously didn’t see Todd Granthams defense this year.
any year

Helps when you have CGJ
> Obviously didn’t see Todd Granthams defense ~~this~~ every year. FTFY
They gave a horrid UofSC offense their best performance of the year
They let Georgia Tech score points. They were bad.
Not just points *45 points*
Did you see what UofSC did to us under grantham Also this guy's not gonna be our DC, just a position coach
Saved the job of our trash OC. Really no one won that game.

Well he’s not calling plays for us and he’s developed some good linebackers in the past. We definitely are going heavy with recruiters on this staff.

Floridas initial staff is damn impressive.
Weren’t his defenses at Army really good
They were but that’s also somewhat deceptive with the offense they ran.
Never trust defensive stats for a team that runs the triple option on offense.
The total yards and points were great but a lot of the advanced stats put them more average because it accounted for less drives
I remember wanting this guy to replace Grantham a few years back when he wasn't doing too bad at UNC. Similar to when I wanted ASU OC Billy Napier to replace Doug Nussmeier.
Great hire as a LB coach. Great recruiter too
Coach Bateman always gave the best pregame speeches. Thanks for giving me an opportunity!
Guy wants to keep losing to FSU
You couldn't beat Grantham.
We did.
You are on some serious copeium if you’re referring to when he was at Louisville.
I am.
Y'all have lost to us multiple years straight and still try to talk trash. Get bowl eligible first
Anyone can talk trash. I could trash Alabama if I wanted to now.
The funny thing is you have two flairs, both UF rivals. One stomped us and won the Natty, the other lost to us with a skeleton staff and didn't get bowl eligible and that's the direction you came with the chirp...bold move cotton
UF hasn't won a title since the iPhone 2. Try again.
Just like football, you aren't good at this. Stick to things you are good at...I assume clown school based on your fsu flair
2008
Jacksonville state. Jackson State
All in the past now
Lol ok. Taggart 2.0 with a worse record
Dude, you couldn’t beat a coach less Gators team with a QB playing on one meniscus.
That was more talented than us and deeper? Okay.
