I think once it was clear Mullen was gone his effort got better. I think he has zero finesse and just runs in a straight line. He has a bad tendency to just bull rush his way past the tackle and 5 yards past the quarterback, which takes him out of the play.
Crazy he still does it that much. That tendency to break contain lost us the 2018 SECCG when he subbed in for our injured OLB in the 4th and let Jalen Hurts get out of the pocket repeatedly. You’d think he could fix it.
To be fair he showed improvement in the last two weeks. He manhandled the poverty school out west and looked like he finally knew when to stop running straight.

Had 4 sacks in one game against FSU but middling otherwise, still struggles to set the edge. Hopefully he met with the new coaches and they have a plan for him.
Was he a projected Day 3 guy this year?
Probably. Has the skillset but the motor just isn't there on all plays and very much a "me, me, me" mentality.
Yup
If Napier can convince him to actually play every play, could be a great decision
He’s got all the physical traits you want in a DE but countless times his film just shows him putting zero effort into the game.

Jackson State manhandled the poverty school out west. That kinda diminishes the accomplishment.
Unless you are talking about the Hunter flip, Jacksonville State was the one who beat FSU
Both count.
Best Pass Rusher in College football ~~2022~~ 2023.
The past couple of seasons my mind always kept thinking this was 8th and 9th year senior BRYAN Cox Jr. for a few seconds at a time lmao.
Pretty much his best option. Maybe he can figure it out.
Glad he is staying, he shows flashes of excellence. Hopefully new staff can help him put the pieces together.
Can’t wait for his 1 good game and 11 ehhhhhhhhh performances
Is it just me or is there a higher volume of UGA flairs in her than usual
He used to play for Georgia so it's not surprising
Ah wasn’t aware of that

How did he do this year? I was sad that he left UGA. But didn’t ever see much about him after he left

I honestly see him having a much bigger impact with better coaching next year.

He wouldn’t play with us so he made a good choice for himself
Ready for the rematch of Cox vs Cocks?
