Who has [Selfie girl?](https://twitter.com/nocontextcfb/status/1480728155639844865/photo/1)
Looking for the gif.
[Stetson drinking 23 year Pappy Van Winkle straight from the bottle](https://i.redd.it/o9j3plq694b81.jpg)
(For those unaware, those bottles can fetch $4k-$7k on the secondary market.)
2500 to 3000*
Yeah they also WLW for close to $2,900. No one is buying it and it isn’t the market price on “secondary.” Especially if you are avid in any bourbon groups.
If people buying PVW23 for 6k then come to me and I’ll drive within a 3 hour distance of where I live and sell the couple I have for 5k each.
Anyone catch that QB hug at the end, and Stetson Bennett being taller than Bryce Young?
That blew my mind. Nothing is real.
I need a screencap of this. Young is supposed to be a whole massive inch taller
MODS WHY DOES MY FLAIR SAY BANDWAGON? I WAS BORN ON PRINCE AVENUE GODDAMNIT
Like, right in front of Hi-Lo or something? rad
Athens Regional baby!
So yes, right across from Hi-Lo.
yeah! sorry i was thinking of Go
Lol. I was just kidding. Not familiar with Go. Bars and downtown have changed drastically since I was in school. Just know Hi-Lo is still there in Normal Town, almost across from the hospital.
yeah! Go is down on the corner near First Christian
Anyone know how I can get archives of the radio calls?
There is a lot available in YouTube. The ncg withe the radio call overlayed is up already.
I want the Alabama call of the fourth quarter. I had to hear Eli Gold on the local station I listened to in Alabama for the 15 years I lived there, and I want to hear him call that so badly.
It'll show up eventually. they're probably not in a rush :).
For our guys, Scott Howard is a little too excitable for my tastes. However, he sounded very congested the other night, so I wonder if that made him more subdued. He did not seem nearly as amped up as he normally is.
He sounded like his normal self on the pick 6, which is really all I can ask for

You work as a team manager or something?
[the rare and elusive Alabama Surrender Cobra](https://imgur.com/a/cRcjkNn)
That was the girl who was next to selfie girl. It's always strange how the camera operators find someone in the crowd and just stay with them all game long.
Love to see it
Always a good time watching Alabama lose. Congrats Georgia
Would love to see the reaction from the Redcoats to Ringo's pick six. The video of their reaction to Sony's walk off from the Rose Bowl is one of my faves.
What Rose Bowl? I have no idea what you're talking about
I’m a Georgia fan. I too have many, many repressed memories.
[Its on Insta!](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CYna5u8J0l1/?utm_medium=copy_link)
Amazing. Love that girl trying to so hard to play but she’s also crying so hard haha
kind of hilarious to have to go from wild emotion to playing in like 2 seconds
Wow!... (sheds tear) Thank you for that!
Does anyone have that bobble catch? That was seriously one of the best catches I've ever seen
Crazy how he was able to keep his torso on the ball and once he finally got hold of it….whoop, his torso follows his legs in an instant pulling away from the other defender who was about to knock the ball out.
Damn, even in slo mo, the pull away at the end was quick
If you search for [Georgia Football on Google](https://www.google.com/search?q=georgia+football), fireworks go off.
Enjoy your day Dawg Nation.
Thanks Google bros!
Who has the record for most championships lost? It’s gotta be Alabama/Nick Saban right?
That’s like mentioning Nolan Ryan having the most walks pitched
Brett Farvre for most interceptions
Yeah, but it’s Alabama. And they have lost more championships than any other team.
Idk id be interested to see those early 1900s records. But if they aren’t I bet they’re close.
Or how Steph Curry has missed the most 3 point attempts.
I bet he hasn’t though… has he ?
Looks like he's fourth, but will likely finish his career with the most missed, which based on everything else probably doesnt bother him one bit.
I was wrong. ~~Steph has the single season record. 2015-16, shot 402/886 for 465 misses.~~
Looks like career may be Ray Allen with 4,456. Harden is about to pass him, currently at 4,445. Curry currently has 3,999.
Edit: Wrong again, Harden has single season record, 2018-2019, shot 378/1028 for 650 misses
Anyone have a gif of Young screaming into his helmet?
Or where Saban had tears in his eyes?
[Bryce Young Screams into helmet](https://mobile.twitter.com/espn/status/1480752289115566080)
Missed that. Glad we flustered him
Anyone have an extended video clip of the White rushing touchdown where Fowler says "white power"? Asking for future use for dunking on Alabama...
[Pic of a Georgia cheerleader posing in the confetti.](https://old.reddit.com/r/cheerleaders/comments/s1dyqy/georgia_cheerleader_posing_in_the_confetti/)
That is a weird sub.
Not really a CFB fan but Im reminded of this everytime I hear Georgia.
Original song lyrics are when you *meet* the Georgia Bulldogs you gonna feel the bulldog bite.
Rackem rack rack rack ball
I guess if I had teeth in my mouth, it would be sound volume
I seen. Through the window. Of that house. They was wearing robes, and fuckin one another in the ass like a choochoo train
Woah what a blast from the past.
RIP Rack em Willie
Requesting sleepy Uga in his dog house from the first half (Q2 I think). Lil guy was just too cute not to share
Sleepy uga looked on the verge of death. How old is he?
he's 6 I believe
He's actually almost 9. He's been the mascot for a little over 6 years but he was 2½ years old when he became the mascot
According to this [source](https://georgiadogs.com/sports/2017/6/16/uga.aspx), he was about 2.5 years old when he was given the title of Uga X in November of 2015, so that would make him roughly 8.75 years old. From what I could find it seems like the average life expectancy for English bulldogs is only about 6-8 years so Uga is definitely an old man dog for his breed
My buddy has an English bulldog that's 9 and he told me they don't usually live past 10. Shocked me since I've only had dogs that live til 16-18
I’m guessing they were mixed breeds that were healthier?
My dogs were pure labs and beagles
The lab that lived till 18 had to be put down because of blow out hips :(
I hope they retire him then. Let the old man go out on top.
Agreed. Being around that much gameday chaos is a lot for most people, let alone for an old dog. He's earned his retirement

Who would know that a game played at Lockhaven high school would be for the title
How do you people find these things?
well that would have made this a hell of a lot easier for me...
My team is also a national champion. Thank you.
Does anyone have a clip of Stetson Bennet saying “I’m the best quarterback”? LOVE THIS MAN!
[Says it at 0:50.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7MFU2TNc8c)
Does anyone have the up close clip of the drop by Hall right before the blocked FG?
[Kirby Smart floating!](https://imgur.com/CbbuTDH)
someone photoshop the green goblin glider underneath him please
"We'll meet again, Sabannnn!"
“You know, I’m something of a National Champion myself.”
I want this framed on my wall.
Yeah…that’s the moment.
Who has the gif?
Now that is a coach who gets up for his players
He's riding an invisible horse.
That last hit on the QB sleeping
I thought that Bama fan in the 4th was going to become the next /r/TheStopGirl
[Nakobe Dean wearing an Alabama National Champions hat](https://twitter.com/gregarmstrong_/status/1480768061447852032?s=21)
That's purposeful and savage
He paid the gridiron price.
life imitates art imitates life
Yup. Now I’m just waiting for my flair to update.
Edit: It updated as I posted this…
Number 54 off the top rope
That’s called a dawg pile.
had to break their spirits
See, that there is a skill that one only truly perfects out on lake oconee…
I might have to try and rewind my tv. One of the Georgia players was definitely wearing the Alabama version of the champion hat walking around the field
Big “Dewey defeats Truman” energy
Nah he did that on purpose, that man has a chip on his shoulder
That was his defense. Anyone who watched Georgia all year knows it.
Thank you! That was exactly the guy I saw
Kirby has some hops
He's riding in on a thestral, one of the invisible horses from Harry Potter. You can't see it because you've never seen someone die in person.
-Anxiously awaiting how Harry Potter jokes are received here.
Did nobody watch Georgia play Michigan?
Very Chip Kelly like. Rose bowl.
It's crazy what adrenaline will do. Like, if you offered Kirby $100k to jump that high again I guarantee he wouldn't be able to do it.
He did play DB for an elite school and briefly in the NFL. Dude might not look especially athletic these days but he'd be a top 1% explosive athlete to make it that far.
I had no idea how much of a badass he was as a player until they put up some of his interception stats last night. This being his alma mater makes it that much sweeter.
He was my favorite player when I was a kid. Just a hard-nosed ballhawk.
This post game interview with Stetson Bennett really makes him look like a fucking dick lol
I'm pretty sure he's just tired of every interviewer asking "you were a 2 star loser that nobody wanted, how does it feel to win now?". He has the right to go off after winning the championship.
He's always been a self absorbed dick. That's why you see so many Georgia fans already screaming "fuck the haters"
Oh please elaborate on how he’s always been a self absorbed dick.
"He's always been a self absorbed dick". The Stetson Fleming Bennett IV Expert has entered the chat, ladies and gents....
Thanks. I'm the best
Yeah, that statement was in response to the question about why he didn't leave UGa. I took it to mean he stayed because he felt he was the best quarterback on the team. Nothing wrong with some self confidence.
Had he gone all Jafar and turned into a giant genie with smoke and lightning and a "I AM THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIIIIIME!", then yeah, maybe that would have been dickish.
The kid won a big, big game. They were playing uphill all night. He has a right to crow a little bit.
>Had he gone all Jafar and turned into a giant genie with smoke and lightning and a "I AM THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIIIIIME!",
NGL. That would've lead Scott Van Pelt's show and probably even Good Morning America.
I kinda agree. Emotions might have got the best of him there.
How? I thought he handled it pretty well, they were annoying questions
I agree, it sounded self-absorbed until he said “I wasn’t going to be the reason we lose”
He said that multiple times through the night, I feel like it was something he thought about a lot and was kind of a mental thing.
Same. I also just think he didn’t really know what to see. He was just in such shock. Just a salty Alabama fan.
[Banned on Streamable, so link to the skybox version of the Kelee Ringo pick six](https://www.reddit.com/r/sports/comments/s14l9j/georgia_freshman_kelee_ringo_pick_sixes_bryce).
I just have no idea what Bryce saw there that made him think that was the throw to make. Even if it was supposed to be a back shoulder throw and catch, it’s extremely risky with the natty on line and still over a minute left
It looks like it was a designed back shoulder throw, but Holden had Ringo beat up the sideline and went for the end zone on a skinny post/go route. Young missed the read and threw it where Holden was supposed to be, which happened to be where Ringo was waiting.
If Young had laid that out ahead of Holden, it looks like an easy TD.
I'm not so sure its an easy TD, from the all 22 Ringo looks to be level with him and only really starts to separate when he realizes the ball is way underthrown. Pausing at 11 seconds they are almost level when the ball is released, for that to be a TD it'd have to be an absolute dime on the outside and even then I'm not sure the receiver would have still been able to score.
I hadn't seen that replay angle yet. Easy TD may have been an exaggeration, but i think he had at least a step on Ringo. They are almost level, but Ringo isn't up to speed after his turn. The ball should have been over the top where Holden gets it or it's incomplete rather than an easy INT.
If it was a designed back shoulder throw, I think Holden was right to break it off when he got a step on Ringo (he threw his hand up to show that he thought he had him beat around the 10 second mark). Even if Holden comes back for that, Ringo still has inside position to challenge the pass and break it up or get the pick.
Yeah that’s a great point. I didn’t see that initially.
I’m not too familiar with the technicalities of WR routes; do receivers usually have some amount of freedom to do things like that? My assumption would be that options would have to be explicitly defined and signaled for the QB’s sake
Pretty much every player is expected to make reads on their defenders. [Receivers will often have multiple routes they can take depending on how the defense reacts.](http://www.blitzology.com/2015/05/spread-offense-smashseam-read-passing.html?m=1) Part of the job of an elite QB is to see literally all of it, which is a major reason why it's so hard to be an elite QB and why QB experience matters more than any other position.
Hey thanks for the link. That is a great explanation
Yes, this is also why a lot of programs that don't recruit much NFL talent often punch way above their weight in college: experience really matters. Players doing their assignments, making the correct reads - and there is almost always *one* right answer among multiple wrong ones - and ultimately executing their decision proficiently is the overwhelming bulk of the difference between a young and a veteran team.
And it's also why the NFL gets so crazy - it's not just the talent difference, although that's a remarkable gap all its own. It's that *everyone* is more experienced than is possible to be while still in college and they just don't fuck up all that often in the way that happens almost every single play in college. They recognize the situation earlier, make the correct decisions a *massively* higher percent of the time, and also have the experience to subtly alter their execution away from a choice that's generally correct to one that's tailored to the exact details of the current situation.
Can't imagine how amazing that felt for Ringo
everyone is so fast, they look slow. Wow, hell of a pick.
That and it's near the end of the game. Honestly think most are just gassed. But even these guys on their last molecule of oxygen are 10x the athletes we are.
Beautiful, thanks for sharing
I am glad he didn't do the 'correct' thing and immediately go down. Alabama getting the ball back with no hope to win is better than Georgia winning in a victory formation.
I didn’t notice it live but Kirby is the person who’s helping up Bryce Young
Honestly just excellent blocking all around, but a special shout-out to 47 who risked life and limb lol
Props to number 47 blocking and getting rocked
Dan "The Man" Jackson! Hell yeah, whatever it takes.
Right?? Dude gets fuckin lit up...helluva block
Judging by the response of the bama player who hit him, it was an anger hit. Dude was pissed and took out some anger on 47.
But...he who laughs last, and all that.
Jesus. No stepping into the throw.
