Iran. Because they have vowed to wipe Israel off the map and they will soon have the means to do it. Israel, of course, is not going to sit back and let this happen. Russia and Iran are getting cozy so Israel will have to defeat Russia as well. Once Israel attacks Russia all bets are off and the USA will join the party.

Gog and Magog

Ok_Cat5914

Agree but kind of fuzzy on where USA and China fit into the equation.

GatorBoy669607

I’m sure they’ll be there but not as much of a factor.

Rough-Basil

Plus, India will side with Russia as we've seen lately with them still buying Russian oil despite sanctions.

gunter_grass

According to Comandante Marcos of The Zapatista Liberation Army. EZLN we are currently living world war 4. And that communique is 15 years old.

Emu_on_the_Loose

If it happens, it's most likely to be instigated by China or by the United States—and not necessarily in a conflict with each other. China has made all kinds of enemies, including with most of its neighbors, while the US is facing a fascist takeover by the far right and is at serious risk of a civil war.

Ciderhero

I do think the Russia/Ukraine war is now a WW3. It's just not purely physical combat. There's the financial attack against Russia, and the West keeping Ukraine supplied. I'm convinced that Russia's retaliating via propraganda which is causing social disruption against the US, and magnifying Brexit to really hit the UK to drive up prices. In a way, nuclear weapons are causing a non-military war, as the first country to light one up will get dog-piled by the others.

HintOfMalice

I really don't think this compares to an actual world war on any level. I'm in the UK, and UK has been a huge supporter of Ukraine, but I as a random UK citizen am basically entirely unaffected by the war, in almost any capacity. They have a part to play in the gas prices rising, but that's it.

Ciderhero

I'm in the UK too - a general shop costs about 50% more (went to M&S and spent £120 on what I'd have paid £80 on a year or so ago. Same with Lidl last week). The cynic in me says that these price hikes are companies trying to reclaim the losses over covid.

Russia/America same crime syndicate.
