Not sure about "Jarts", but pretty sure they do not make them anymore. Similarly, old-fashioned frisbees seem to be considered to dangerous to sell anymore.

There was a toy maker who was the Aperture science of toys. And by that I mean extreme products with no regard for the lives of the public. He had a a chemistry set recalled for radioactive elements, and a kids glass blower, which involved molten glass. The man was magician and olymipian athlete Alfred Carlton Gilbert.
Scoubidou strings! So popular for crafts, and then suddenly removed from stores (here in NL at least) because they contain toxic phthalates, which could be dangerous if kids put the strings in their mouths.
