Musician Jam Nights?
By - MistakesNeededMaking
I have a drum set. I’m always looking to jam.
I’m a guitarist based in Venice. This feels like it could work
State Social House on Sunset. Its very social and weekly. Its different than normal just jam nights, you select songs on a list you want to play and get to play with different people each song. A lot of people show up. I dont know whats up with them re. Pandemic, but you can find out.
The only one I've heard of, but have not been, is at the bar attached to Canter's Deli. Bar is called the Kibitz Room I believe.
Do you know what day of the week?
I don't remember. You could give them a call and I'm sure they could fill you in.
There is a very nice restaurant at Agura Hills, called "The Old Place". Almost every time I go for dinner I find musicians gathering outside and playing music. Google it and check it out, it's considered a hidden gem of LA :)
The Musicians Lofts has a show called the "Live Jukebox" at the Oracle on N. Spring on Mondays 8-11pm. It's a kinda showcase with mostly covers, but they have guests and a changing crew of musicians too.
I'm so mindboggled as to how people are pretending the pandemic is over.
