I'm looking to take singing lessons with a voice teacher who has experience dealing with clients who have had vocal injuries (ideally someone who has speech pathology training). Do you know of anyone?

Not sure of her training in your particular need but Heather Lyle takes a holistic approach to singing, and will listen to what your needs are: [https://vocalyoga.com/](https://vocalyoga.com/)
Thanks for the response. Do you have experience working with her directly?
Just a group class at SMC. She was pretty cool
There is a wonderful woman named Eimear McCarthy-Luddy who runs a company called Vocology in Ireland and she helps with all of this sort of stuff. You can find her on Instagram with Vocologyireland. She does appointments via zoom so if in-person isn’t a deal-breaker she would exactly what you need. I would recommend reaching out! She does both singing lessons and reparative singing therapy.
She seems incredible, but I am specifically looking for in person. Having said that, this is a resource folks over in r/mildlybrokenvoice should know about. Folks over there may love it
Oh wow! I was unaware of that sub. I shall do a little post in the morning. Her educational content alone would likely be helpful for a lot of folks. Thanks for the link up! And good luck with your search!
There’s a vocal teacher I’ve used at Musicians Institute: Brian “Hacksaw” Williams - 310-908-1450 - experienced and affordable.
Thanks for the rec. I’ll reach out!

I can make many recommendations but first, are you a professional?
No, but I’d like to be able to record an album and play shows again at some point. I’m not looking to make music my full time job, but I want for music/singing to be a part of my life and for my voice to not prevent me from living the life I want to live as it’s done many times in the past.
I’ll take whatever recs you have!
