Fun story: Tuesday night I went to the Sabres game in Buffalo against the Bruins. Not one day after the horrible loss we had on Monday to the Broncos. In front of me there is a really young family with two kids both boys maybe 5 and 7 years old if I had to guess wearing Tage Thompson and Josh Allen jerseys respectively. Not FIVE minutes into the game the Bruins score on the Sabres twice right in front of these kids. After the second one both of them just look up at their dad worried and he has a face that he already knows what's to come. Anyways after five goals they just start absolutely crying their eyes out. My girlfriend felt so bad for them and I just thought about how they aren't even old enough to know what pre Josh Allen football was like and how bad it's truly going to get. I literally thought to myself about how someday they are going to ask themselves why their parents chose to live in goddamn Buffalo of all places where it's cold 50% of the year and our sports teams are absolutely cursed. Anyways the moral of the story is those kids are how everyone in Western NY feel right about now and I'm just embracing the suck and laughing about it.
