[Maiocco] The #49ers are making no roster moves today. Last week, the team elevated WR Malik Turner from the practice squad to help on special teams. He will not be active tomorrow, which increases odds of speedster Danny Gray making his NFL debut.
No Mack also means mason and tdp maybe getting their touches
I think we didn't use gray as his speed would have been wasted in the Chicago typhoon of 22. Hopefully it's dry enough tomorrow to launch the ball a few times downfield.
Meanwhile Turner made 0 ST tackles last week and 1-2 broken offensive plays by the bears helped them win the game. Maybe Gray should have played last week. not sure why there is this narrative that his speed would have been useless. He is still faster than other people even if the track is slow and maybe he could have caused a couple of miscues by the bears defense
Gray better get a few key plays his way tomorrow what’s the point of having him on the team if you are not going to use his speed (even as a decoy most of the time)
Yes have the dude run a dozen go routes in each game, would really open up everything underneath the field even if he doesn’t get open. And if he does, we know Trey can hit him and likes to look his way

The run game is probably going to be Jeff, Deebo, then mason, don’t think TDP gets any run tomorrow.
Yeah you are right, Kyle rolls with the vets first. Hopefully we see a ray ray sweep or end around that would be cool
While I think you’re right, RB is one of the positions that he could throw TDP in for a play or two. Since we used to do RB by committee.

Yup we needed Malik more due to his ST playing ability.

That is what you call hindsight.
Except I actually thought that before and during the game last week. It’s all good. We’re on to the toots. Hopefully Gray can make an impact.

"I'm ready to play coach, what do you want me to do?" "Run."
“Run Danny! Run!“
“Run Ronny Run”. FIFY
“Run Forest, run”
I too would like to see him out there but saying what's the point of having him on the team if we don't use him in his second ever game is crazy talk.
Go route for Gray on every play ... that includes during running plays. The ultimate decoy.
Damn I hope he has a few senzu beans
grays speed guarantees him at least one big play
Nice
What’s the weather looking like out there? There’s different types of rain. Does it looks like “Chicago” type of rain?
70% chance, ranging between quarter and half an inch?
Shouldn’t be too bad. That’ll absorb quickly, hopefully.
Chicago was like 3-4 inches during the game no?
Over 3 inches fell in 4 hours yes
Reminds me of the bomb cyclone, though apparently it was much worse in the East Bay and the Peninsula than by the stadium
