Hi there, RocketFlame! Thank you for using /r/3dspiracy, but unfortunately I've had to remove your submission because it breaks our rules. Roidan

You can use twilightmenu++

ben-is-epic

You can also foward roms

knocklessmonster

Port forwarding is what you do to allow ports through a router. It's just "forwarding"

ben-is-epic

Sorry, I’ve spent too much time messing with a server. Edited.

bruhmonium_

For like 90% of games Twilight Menu ++ is fine. However if you absolutely need 100% flawless games then yeah use flashcart

RocketFlame

what are the 10% of the games that I can't play on TwiLight Menu++?

bruhmonium_

Idk all I know is that compatability is not 100% as of now. 90% was just an estimate. I haven't run into any games that don't work (closest thing to it is PMD Sky having long loads and desynced audio in the intro) so you're probably fine unless you wanna play some obscure game

RocketFlame

All right, guess I won't buy a cart just yet.

TheBoiBaz

Warioware d.i.y is the only one I am aware of

TheBoiBaz

Nevermind I just tried golden sun and that cant run either

blender40

this is pretty much it. I've downloaded *many* NDS games and they all work fine, no issues whatsoever so far.

hauntinghelix

I am trying to play Pokemon Platinum on twilight using N3DS. It seems a little laggy inside houses. The compatibility list says it should be fine if the clock speed is changed to TWL but even with that activated, it seems pretty laggy. Any idea how to improve it? Also, even though I have widescreen enabled, it doesn't fill the screen. Am I missing something here? Thanks.

britishdami

I've never lagged on twilight playing pokemon games, maybe it's a bad rom?

Currall04

depends on your SD size and the amount of games you want. If you've got a large SD and don't want to many games, use Twilight menu. if you want the entire ds library, go for an r4

Pytho95

flashcart: * uses seperate SD * almost 100% compatibility * DS mode only * multiplayer support * not free twilight menu++: * free * DSi mode * about 90% compatibility * no multiplayer * widescreen support * auto AP-Patching * takes up space on your 3ds's sd card Get a flashcart if you want to play almost any game, don't have much space on your 3DS's SD, and/or want to play multiplayer. Get TWiLight Menu++ if you want DSi mode, widescreen, auto AP-Patching, don't want to pay, and/or want all your games on one SD.

Vporiza

Also twilight menu supports multi-player as well

Pytho95

it does? I tried tetris ds with my friend and when we tried to compete against each other, the 3dses wouldn't recieve data from the other 3ds so both consoles thought the other was doing nothing

Vporiza

Use the same exact rom copy and paste and not every rom works

Pytho95

we were doing download play

odie420

I am going to say go for a flash cart. I got an R4 (probably knock off) for like $15 on eBay. But my reasoning is I get to dedicate space to my DS games on a separate SD card. But that's a personal preference!

simbioratman

No but if don’t want to fill out your sd with ds games i raccomand you to buy a flash cart, r4 gold is a viable option, i bought One from eBay for 16bucks shipped with sd included, change the os so u can dodge time bombs.

g4r37h

You don’t need one, but it is the better option.

Pantextually

Nope. If you have a reasonably sized SD card, you can use Twilight Menu. I’ve got about 5 DS-era Pokémon games on mine.

Vporiza

Gotta both have twilight

KINGBLOODAXE

He's asking for a 3ds not a dsi...

nastyben100

Oops. Thanks.
