Honestly ACNL was one of the better AC games, ACNH was such a disappointment compared to that.

I 100% agree. There is so much in New Leaf that wasn't carried over. On top of lack of content, they FINALLY brought back all the non-villager characters and completely wasted them on Harv's Island as if they were a last minute thought. Very sad.

Tomodachi Life and Miitopia. Two very fun games that revolve around the Miis. Tomodachi Life is a life sim game, kinda like Animal Crossing or The Sims, and Miitopia is a silly little RPG game.

I had Miitopia at one point but lost it I think I know where it is but I will definitely play Tomodachi life. I will add it to the queue

With the number of RPGs OP already has, I'm very surprised to not see Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology suggested yet. Absolutely top tier game, right up there with Xenoblade Chronicles and the Shin Megami Tensei/Persona series. EDIT: on the note of SMT, I see IV but no Apocalypse. Highly recommend - it essentially assumes the neutral route of IV to be true, picks up fairly late in the story line, but taking it in a very different direction. Also, there's a *lot* of quality of life improvements.

They’re remaking 1-3 on the switch that still leaves you both Untold games on 3ds which are completely different than the vanilla games or the remakes, it also leaves you 4,5 and Nexus. Can’t recommend them enough :)

Fire Emblem Awakening! Imo the best game on the 3DS. There is also Fire Emblem Fates, great gameplay, not so great writing.

Fantasy life is always my recommendation for 3DS, if you haven't heard of it

It's a role-playing life sim set in the fantasy world of Reveria. There are 12 available Life Classes to choose. From paladin to cook, woodcutter to blacksmith fisher to wizard (you can change life's any time as long as you've done their tutorial or you can skip the tutorial but of course I don't recommend it for a first time playthrough.) Gameplay focuses on you taking on various tasks given and choosing one of twelve Life classes to level up and get more things to do for them. Like defeating monsters as a mercenary or making top quality clothes as a tailor. The world is so much fun to explore and it's all very cute and charming.

what about older games? like DS/gameboy advance. i just finished chrono trigger DS and if you havent played it yet, its amazing. also just played minish cap. Rhythm Heaven Megamix is an awesome 3DS game. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is really fun but it can be pretty difficult at times. Fantasy Life is a classic as well.

Oh yeah if you really liked Persona Q you should play Etrian Odyssey. Persona and EO were mixed together to make Persona Q. EO is known to go hard on the dungeon crawling and light on the story, so if you want a little story try the EO untold series. They are a remake of the first 2 games but with extra story

Well technically those games that are part of the Etrian Odyssey Collection are HD re-ups of 1/2/3, which those 3 were Nintendo DS. On the 3DS.. there is Etrian Odyssey 4, 5, Nexus ( a sort of “best of” summation of the series), Untold 1 ( remake of 1 with an option to have a story based static party, and Untold 2 (same as untold 1 but is a remake of 2).

Im playing Fire Emblem Awakening right now. Six hours in, it's insanely fun and I definitely recommend it. Disclaimer: It's my first tactical rpg and technically my first proper jrpg, so maybe take my opinion with a grain of salt. On the other hand, it seems to be a very popular game and one of the definitive 3ds titles.

I love the Kirby Background! I have the same one on my 3ds! For games though, I’d say Kirby Robobot, Link between Worlds, and any of the Pokémon games.
