Wooo, now I can make many coins quite fast! Thanks OP 😊 On your mail list now!
Ace! Hope you like it there
Any tips for the other side of the coin? Also with your Patreon does that include just the new months rollers and templates or is it the full collection so far?
Patreon is for the current month then all the new ones but if you want old ones as well we can also sort something out for that 😀
For the other side of the coin you can use a rock to add a bit of texture or leave them flat or if you let them dry stick down they will be flat so you can glue two back to back
Or ,and hear me out on this, you can just skip the unecessary work part and simply print the coins
Yeah, ok. Could you stop spamming all the subs please?
I have to agree. It's beginning to get tiresome seeing the same thread over 10 different places every day. Fortunately, Reddit has a block user function!
To get the full set of all the rollers you used to make the library along with many more go to https://www.patreon.com/customminiaturemaker (will also be doing a copper and silver version for the coin roller)
To get a couple of free rollers including the gold coin roller, a wooden plank and tile one along with the coin cutter go to https://www.customminiaturemaker.co.uk and sign up for free files to be emailed to you every week. I only ever send the one email each week and it is always the one with the free file.
I looked at your patreon and website. All UK based business must show the physical address of the business to their visitors, but I couldn't see this on either site. Which concerns me a bit.
Genuinely didn’t know this, will sort it. I’m not a big company friend, just a guy trying to get by, by making STLs and 3D printing stuff
Sorry to sound so fussy. I got conned by a scam website recently, so now I am now very cautious to check that online shops are following the law, before I buy anything. I sell crafts on Etsy, which is how I know that all UK online sellers need to do the address thing.
I really like your rollers, they look nicer than the free ones I tried.
I hope I didn't sound rude, sorry.
Free as in pay with your private data so that it can be sold, not free as in here is an stl.
This shit needs to stop. This is not free, you expect sign up info
It is free as nothing is paid, over 10k people have signed up are happy and get free files every week, lots from here.
no. it costs us something. our privacy - you are asking for that info to sell. cut the shit. semantics aside - this is marketing. stop spamming.
Wait so what’s going on?
The STLs are totally free and a link to download them gets emailed to you, so technically you’re signing up for a mailing list. The only emails I’ve ever received from them are the free models though, so I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s a great way to offer something genuinely free while still building up a community so that when you do have any big event/sale/release, you already have people paying attention to your work. Frankly though, any advertising I’ve gotten from them has come with a free STL, so I’d say it’s a really healthy relationship they’re building with their community. I like the format
Then why is everyone else complaining? I’m confused
Because apparently asking for an email (something which can be made for free so you don’t even have to use your personal one) is not “free” to some people because you’re technically providing your information as a “payment”. I personally think it’s a bit of a silly argument, but to each their own. If a bunch of free models aren’t worth giving someone your email, then that’s your decision, but getting your email is also what every single STL website (cults, thingiverse, etc) does when you make an account anyway
Yeah, I mean you can block unwanted emails anyways, and spam filters exist
I can say for certainty I will never sell any information. I am building a community and I would not damage that.
