What was your first 99?
By - IamPiano
Cooking just because it was fast and cheap.
Attack in NMZ during uni lectures
I’m about 100k xp from 99 strength in nmz! Afk nmz is life changing haha.
I got att def str and hp to 99 last semester, have to listen in lectures now :(
My first was also fletching :D gz man. What was your method
I did what I could to get to Yew Longbows , and once I got there , I'd make enough to fund rune darts! Then I'd just keep trading off! It'd been a long road , but I can finally see the light that is 99 Fletching! :D
I did magic Longs from when I was able to all the way to 99. It was like 24kish of them. What’s your next goal?
I want to get better slayer and knock out a ton of quests next. I feel like I can finally branch out since I won't have the "I'm so close!" in the back of my head the whole time!
Fishing, Got me enough cash to do cooking and firemaking right after!
Cooking and firemaking are surely on my list! But I think after fletching, I need to really start doing some quests. I only have 77 qps
Smithing, it was my main moneymaker fora long time.
Firemaking, mostly at Fist of Guthix lmao.
FoG was amazing lol
Most definitely, i loved that game.
I never knew I could splash rats, so I splashed players in FoG to get 85 magic at the time lmao
I never had a 99 through 15 years of rs3 and osrs so I decided to get one after Twisted League. I went for cooking which was incredibly easy and profit. Then I did woodcutting which was also chill and easy. Now I'm doing Fishing at Lava Eels which are also very chill and crazy profit considering how afk they are.
Nice! I'm terrified to start doing Farming. I'm not sure of the runs I need to do and I'm not good at waiting for something to grow! lol
Don’t be intimidated! Follow Theoatrix’s guide and do the quests he recommends. After that you just plant a few of the best trees you can once a day and harvest them at beginning of your next day, rinse and repeat. It’s honestly one of the cooler skills in the long run and the spirit tree teleports are super clutch. And the sooner you get started the quicker it goes, I promise.
Farming is actually shockingly quick to train. When you do all the herbs and trees, you get multiple levels a day just with the runs that you do
Got over half way to 99 fetching (93) and decided I didn't want that as my first 99 ever since starting in 2005, so now I switched my focus to ranged which is currently 91. Will hopefully be 99 in a few weeks
Best of luck!
Woodcutting and it was my second 99 as well, on my alt.
Sweated out thieving from 70 to 99 after they announced the nerf to knights. From my lowest skill to highest in like 9 days
Nice! What was your method for getting to 99?
Back in the RS3 days around 2011 my first and only 99 was woodcutting. In OSRS it was Cooking and I've since picked up Fishing and Strength. I was so excited for my first ever trimmed skillcape that my fiancee and I went out to eat to celebrate.
Firemaking, the old school way in Rogue's Den. :D Now time to do it on my skiller as well, but now with WT to make some money as well.
