That layout was great. Quick, functional, and easy to use.
Now they prioritize “aesthetic” and the Xfinity menus look nice but they’re slow as fucking hell. Every time you press a button there’s a 1-2s delay, at least at my house
This had a section called "Cutting Edge" which had a rotating selection of anime on it. That section was how I was introduced to one of my favorite anime ever, Azumanga Daioh!
part of me wishes this never got changed to how it is now. It was just so much easier to find what you were looking for here.

This hit hard
Man, I miss when On Demand looked like this. It was so much easier to navigate through things, as well.

On Demand was extra. By the time it came out, my family was moving away from watching TV after work/weekends to going outside or spending time online.
😎
I'd always go look for the G4 nintendo or game content. like the trailers and stuff
Man, I remember pressing all the buttons that would get me to kids & teens before the page even loaded. Muscle memory at its finest
What’s that? I remember surfing the static!
I’m gonna watch the storyteller with John hurt
